This is a "Framboisier" (Raspberry shortcake) in disguise, composed with two layers of a light Japanese cake roll, a fresh raspberry yuzu compote, a raspberry chiboust, a light vanilla yogurt mousse and a crunchy sweet dough.

This cake brought a little tear to my eye, it’s so beautiful. The cage represents the entrapment of marriage. 👏 (lol)
The word "entrapment" sounds negative, though. To me, marriage is not always like this. At least not what a couple would want to expect. I think, in this cake, the cage acts as a veil, which, when taken off, unravels a surprise. And life in marriage, and not just in marriage, is full of unravelling life's new hurdles ahead of you.

Honestly, for a sec, when he took the ring off the heart so he could get to the cake, I was half expecting him to pop the ring in his mouth and it be another edible surprise 😆😅
