I just watched this movie for the first time and I really love it! They don't do romcoms like these anymore. The writing was surprisingly good and Heath Ledger was such a great actor even at 19-20 years old. He died too soon.
I literally just watched this movie last night and I fell in love with Kat and Patrick's story instantly from the moment he laid eyes on her on the soccer field. I fell in love with Kat as a character bc I love her as having attitude of only believing in what she wants and not follow expectations from other ppl. I do find Bianca to be a brat, but I do kinda get why she gets frustrations where she feels like she can't live her life, but that shouldn't mean she should make sister feel miserable to follow what other people think.

She nailed every part of it perfectly. As a teenager your emotions easily take over all other bodily functions of yours and not only did Heath but also Julia somehow managed to make great performances, but they also managed to keep calm and have the targeted young audience keep cool as well. Awesome movie, 10 out of 10 in my book.
