Such a simple, but great exercise. Many thanks.
Muchas gracias ! Excelente video
What would be your answer/reaction if it was a push? Like he pushes and you pull, what is the throw for drill?
You could use any throw that goes in the direction of the push. For example you could use a seoi nage, or an o goshi, or a tomoe nage. The throw that you finish with is not the point of the drill. The point is the push/pull dynamic.
If some one push you, you can do Seoi Nage, Uchi mata or Harai Goshi. I sometime use Osoto Gari, he push me then I pull him, when he lose his balance I push him and do the Osoto Gari
Lol.. thought David didnt have a right hand at the beginning of the video 😖😖🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
Master
but he lets go of your gi after you trip him. in reality he wouldn't. he 'd drag you down with him into some kind of guard or ..
In Judo, no matter what you do after the throw is mate.
If you mean on the street fight, Daki Age is a perfect choice to end it quickly.
If you mean on BJJ then some Guard Pass is needed to open the Guard.
And lose, because it’s still ippon. This isn’t self defense, this is judo.
It's a drill. Every time someone says "ooH whAt iF tHis whaT iF tHat" I swear... It's a drill. You're just practicing, your partner is supposed to be cooperative. I can show you a billion BJJ drills that have the same vulnerability and "LacK oF ReAliTy".
Imagine if you watch a video like this th-cam.com/video/4roccVIsOnE/w-d-xo.html and go "oMg whY iS hE jUsT SiTtinG thEre fOr tHe other gUy tO dRiLL? oH i WouLd pUncH him or Oh hE wOulD rEact".
In Judo, he loses immediately. In Jiu Jitsu, he just got taken down, which I don’t think I need to explain is a good thing. So what’s your point?
