6th degree judo black belt on youtube : "That's my preference, I can be wrong."
Regular joe who watches UFC fights : "This is dumb, it would never work"

I'm american and I watch UFC 1 through 5 when they came out on VHS but I get tired of your casual fan that praises BJJ wrestling and MMA but looks down on judo, keyokeshin karate etc.. as if they don't work! The worst thing is so called BJJ people act like the Gracie's invented all the techniques on the ground!

Love the advice. Many thanks. Much like light sparring to discover new patterns, techniques etc. Open one's mind.
    Shall get to it

Love that you name all the moves. Great way to learn.

Thank you. I found myself very rusty after a year and a half away from the mat. This is really helpful to loosen up and get timing back.

Nice. This resembles moving uchikomi (though it probably is). This type of flowing drill really does help to practice and see the entries and how to chain the movements together.

Osu! Thank you so much for the advice, I'll get right on it. It seems like this is a great way to explore movement patterns, and then like you said, later on refine individual techniques... I'm pumped to give it a go! 😁

Can you run this drill with no Gi? Do we focus on wrist control when we have nothing to grab?

I see, practicing all the entries, because once you know how to follow through on the throws, a clean setup is the hardest part.
