Much effort has been put into reducing the weight of each component. For example, the integration of the electric parking brake into the primary brake itself saves 2.5 kilograms. Even the brackets that hold the EPB cables and hoses are made of aluminium to save weight​​.
The vehicle's Sabelt seat is only 13 kilograms, half the weight of a comparable seat in the current Megane RS. Other weight-saving measures have also been implemented, emphasizing the brand's commitment to lightness​.
In 2022, Alpine revised the A110 line-up, introducing new paint colors and an Aero Kit for added downforce. The GT model now matches the S power output, meaning three versions can achieve a powerful 300 horsepower. Additionally, all A110 models now feature a revised touchscreen interface with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto phone mirroring​​.
The A110 is a car that challenges the trend towards bigger wheels, bigger brakes, more power, and more weight. It demonstrates that a light, nimble sports car can still offer an exciting and capable ride. Some may argue it hasn't changed much since the arrival of the Lotus Emira in 2022, but the revisions made to the touchscreen and the simplified range suggest otherwise.
