This is what I love about baseball. Watching a team win their first pennant in their franchise's history. I got goosebumps watching the last 3 outs. As a fan of the Seattle Mariners, congratulations Nationals and good luck in the Fall Classic. 👍⚾💥

Seattle isn't the only favorite team. Rays and Padres are 2 other favorites of mine. Padres are on the rise and the Rays almost eliminated the heavyweight Stros in the ALDS. I'm glad the Mariners are finally rebuilding for the future. It's gonna take a while and like you said it sucks to be in that "no pennant" club but I rather keep stocking up the farm system the next 3 years or so then finally getting the veteran pieces to make a push for the WS.

I never noticed how terrifying Goldie’s swing is, he tended up through the pitchers delivery and kinda curls forward to set for a vicious swing.
As a UK Nats fan this is amazing. Bring on the Yankees or Stros, we can beat either!

Look, my point was, Britain SHOULD start it's OWN professional baseball team and I just thought of a name for it. Yes, it would share said name with an MLB team but that's nothing new. The Japanese leagues have Two Teams called the Tigers and Giants and the Hiroshima Carps share the exact same cap design as the Cincinnati Reds. It makes sense, my man.

As a Nationals fan, I actually felt really bad for the Cardinals in this game. They're a great team and not anywhere close to as bad as this game made them seem.
I thought it was pretty telling that the Cardinals kept fighting and clawed their way back but came up short...whereas the Crybravies "lost" the last 8 innings too.

Clayton Thurmond Crybravies fans mocking the Cardinals' performance in their 9th NLCS since the last time they got there will never cease to amuse me...though in fairness, if my team won 9 division titles (plus 2 wild cards) over a 20-year period - and during that span won exactly one playoff series while wild cards who had finished behind us in the division took home three pennants and two championships - I'd be a bitter crybaby too.
