- Malawian President, Lazarus Chakwera, has confirmed that the country's Vice President, Dr Saulos Chilima, has died in a plane crash, along with nine others.
The military plane left Lilongwe yesterday morning, and due to bad weather, it couldn't land at Mzuzu Airport. It disappeared from radar shortly afterwards.

Thank you Dorcas reporter❤
378 km apart.
But is malawi that big that its not possible to know the weather conditions of the destination of the plane. How did the allow the plane to take off without confirming the weather conditions at the destination. This incident does not reflect well on us as Africans, could it be coincidence that we lost the president of Iran under exactly similar circumstances
The President made a deal with the late vice president that they shall switch seats if he wins as a President of Malawi then it was about time for the young leader's turn so this guy called the president of Malawi made another deal with Islael to take the young chilima's life

This in African nations is a yearly breaking news loaded with suspicions. I think Malema might be right it's our time to lead into a unit management of African nations problem we have buried our eyes on the few resources ignoring the greater for all 😢

He was a politician after all!
I wonder whether people like the late VP/Chilima listened to the demise of Kenya's Ex- VP George Saitoti/2012 and Kenya's CDF, General Francis Omondi Ogolla/Apr 19, 2024.
This is chakwera's move, though he's trying to cover himself, every malawian knows, it'sa political move, shame on you Mr President

Sophie I beg to differ here as a Zimbabwean NOTHING happened in Zimbabwe
She referred to situations in regards to elections, Zimbabwe was at the helm of election disputes.
