I love how the two most difficult screws to get out just magically are out and then back in when needed! (Said with tongue so far in cheek that it's hanging out my ear! )
You're probably having a worser time with this job than I had trying to get a camera and tools in the same spot while trying to lever the ducting to a point where I could access those screws. I don't envy you brother, good luck!
useful to se you do this. However my volvo 1) is right hand drive which means the 5th screw is very close to the left inner body panels. 2) is a D5 diesel and has another layer of insulating material (bitumen plus 3/4 inch sponge material) behind the thick felt plus sponge floor mat. It leaves no access to the 5th screw without cutting out this second layer of material. Understandable why people cut the plastic tab off with the screw.
What were your symptoms for having to replace the blower motor? On mine my rear AC is working fine, but the front vents are not putting out air. Almost nonexistent.
Because it's hard to get the camera and tools and my eyes in the same spot while also applying pressure to the blower housing to move the screw into accessibility. Sorry to disappoint but good luck with this job!
Can't get the back screw out on an 09 so this vid was pointless for me except I had to listen to garbage music if you own an 09 get the four out and break the 5th off

No vibration after cutting the one bolt ear off?
The bolt ear is still there 😊
@CinemotiveShopcraft I just left mine out no problem 😅

The blower wasn't sending air to the front vents - honestly, I can't remember if air was getting out the rear.
Why Video doesn’t show how you took off the last hard to reach screw hmm????ohh never mind you broke it like everyone else

Exactly this video is no help at all!! the trick is getting the screws back in care to leave us how you did it?
the screw is not needed
I don't like breaking OEM parts just to fit
Nice job. I am not looking forward to this.
