This distinction was made evident in Chengdu where easy day trips took me to ancient villages and spiritual relics before transporting me to the limits of humanity in some of the most futuristic architecture and museums. True, but please note that the building is by Iraqi-British architect Zaha Hadid, whose firm has done several works in China. Many of the world´s best known architects have works in China.

Great video. Chengdu has so many amazing places to visit, like Jiuzhaigou, Huanglong, and Emei Mountain. Last summer, I went to Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong. These two places are amazing, and I definitely recommend them.

There is a saying in China, "You can't go to Sichuan when you are young, and you can't go out of Sichuan when you are old", which means that there is a good place for retirement, I should go there after retirement. LOL
@@thetravelingzam I'm a big fan of spicy food, but Sichuan isn't the hottest place. And if you like more flavors, you can try Cantonese cuisine from Guangdong, Huaiyang cuisine from Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai, and Lu cuisine from the north. Most of these three cuisines are not spicy.

Oh my God, this is the best Chengdu travel video I have ever seen. The photography is great. My eyes enjoy it. It is completely humanistic documentary level. It is much better than many foreign tourists who just check in the scenic spots. It is a pity to see it. There are too few people, and beautiful videos about China on TH-cam will be restricted. I suggest you try other TH-camrs’ exaggerated titles next time, such as: Why do I hate China? A chaotic day in China! The real China scares me! The cover is paired with a candid photo of an armed policeman's back, or a camera at the door of a store, your disappointed expression, and XI's avatar. This makes it easier to get pushed instead of limiting traffic. Many TH-camrs with millions of views have titles like this. The actual content is that hating China is not as scary as the propaganda. Technology has developed amazingly and has escaped TH-cam's censorship. Or you can try putting it on tiktok or bilibili. I hope it can help you. Good things should reach more people see.
TH-cam’s recommendation algorithm for China has always been very bad. When I open TH-cam, it always recommends some Soviet-style covers of red stars and President XI’s heads. If you publish on TikTok, I suggest you cut dozens of minutes of video into a few minutes. Short videos of several minutes with clips of scenic spots are released. Long videos are not popular on TikTok.
I'm glad you enjoyed it! I'm always trying to find new ways to share my love for travel with my viewers. I don't really want to get into click bait thumbnails and propaganda. I just want to show the beauty of a place and I am so glad you enjoyed that true love of the place.
