I go through a list of what I consider to be top accessories for your Jetson Bolt Pro. a list of items can be purchased through my affiliates with no additional costs to you. I look for the most cost effective choices for this cost effective bike. Unfortunately, I cannot control prices, just remember what I say in the video...... "they're all the same"....... sometimes 😜 here are some of the items, in no particular order rack amzn.to/3xfEQ6X or amzn.to/3jWNcxh seat amzn.to/3EtJNOk pedals amzn.to/3RNjaac heavy duty lock amzn.to/3VfCj7x medium duty lock amzn.to/3MmrjS6 tool kit: TBD helmet amzn.to/3ytY2yS cover amzn.to/3egQ8SN (unfortunately they raised prices so look for 58 inch grill cover or Home Depot or Lowes) mirror amzn.to/3MhZUAt eBay "Child Bike Seat Front Mount Kid Bicycle Seat Foldable Portable Tool-Free 2-6"
Hi, I found a rear rack I’m interested in. Do you think it would work for the Jetson Bolt Pro? It says max length of 15.86 inches: ANGGOER Rear Bike Rack with Basket, 165 LB Load Bike Rear Rack Bike Cargo Rack - Aluminum Alloy Bike Rack for Back of Bike with Free Bungee Cord & Waterproof Cover & Installation Tool
Also, get a key fob operated bike alarm, and purchased steel zip ties off of Amazon, and fastened the lock with that and the sticky pads, that come with the bike alarm system! My Justin has three bike alarms on it when I put on on purpose another one that came built into a loud motorcycle type horn, as well as with turn signals that I put on the back of the bike there’s a built-in alarm in that unit as well! Honestly, I don’t leave my Jetson bolt pro anywhere I take it everywhere with me, even into every store and fast food restaurant that I go and order food from! No one has complained even wants to be regarding the bike because it’s so small it’s no bigger than a baby carriage!
The rack is solid. I have a rack but attaches to the seat post (so only 15-20lbs capacity). Saw your rack holds over 100 lbs. Only issue is I have to take the seat post off to fit it in my Smart Car (tight fit but workable). What I do have which you don't list is a front basket, so I can carry another 15-20 lbs. Keep those Dad jokes coming!
oh yes, that is a downside, making it a little bigger. If you look closely, I have it cut down, to take the least amount of space, making it less useful. I do have a future longer term plan with these mounts, possibly an under mount parallel battery, hence the importance of strength
A quality suspension seat post, is an excellent complement to the cloud nine seat! If you want the ultimate comfort for your butt get both! Plus, those folding pedals you just showed I bought a set of those they broke the first time I stood up and put weight on the pedals! They are cheap plastic crap, get the metal ones, or even better, just get steel, all metal, pedals. That’s what I did! Mine don’t fold, but, they’re 10 times stronger, than the cheap plastic garbage, that they sell regarding folding pedals!
Wonderful video. But are there more detailed directions on how to install the mirrors? They don’t come with instructions, and I don’t want to mess up the rubber on my handles by doing it wrong.
You need to poke a hole, from what i recall, only half inch diameter. If you want a non invasive method, try the wrap types, they work fine as well. I have a video on general Ebikes that show
You should take the ugly warning stickers off of the vertical bars. A hairdryer helps to take it off cleanly, too (I doubt you have a hairdryer by the look of your head, but your wife might 😁😁).
if you want the best value, look for a skate or bicycle helmet in the amazon warehouse or filter by price of $25 or less and you should be able to find something like this: amzn.to/3XMZfN6 11 bucks. this one is $13 has an adjustable head strap amzn.to/3rs0m8T, good luck with search
No1 on the list perhaps the quad lock would be better I see a lot of people using the quad lock, easy on and off fits any phone. No2 maybe. No3 Pound store or dollar store seat cover much cheaper than a whole new seat and some stores have the jell covers, buy a few they will last a long time. No4 Nice rack good for extra-large external battery. No5 Bikes a bit small to carry a kid on the front. No6 Yew without a doubt helmet and I would also say gloves and eyes protection. No7 Need locks for sure. No8 Tools I use a 6" 150mm adjustable spanner the jaws open a little more than the 19mm needed. No9 Mirrors, as you use a helmet just get a helmet mirror much better and won't make the bars wider. No10 Yep. No11 A battery powered remote alarm, you just zip tie it to a part of the bike you can't readily see anyone touches the bike it goes off, I use them very good and cheap. No12 Taller handlebars which gives better handling.
phone holder, drink holder, suspension seat post, better seat (Cloud 9), rear rack, bag for batteries on the rear rack, slime in tires, Loctite on pedal screws, lights everywhere, locks, helmet, gloves, pepper spray, bell, motion alarm, minimum of three extra batteries for distance, electric lithium battery air pump, extra tube, tube repair kit, tools, extra tire in the car for an emergency--- These are all of the things that I bought for my Jetson Pro Bolt. Arduino Board for speed hack, wires for the hack. Use a cell phone app for a speedometer, i.e. gps speedometer. XT60 and T conversion connectors for extra batteries, chargers for the battery, and an extension cord for charging during a ride. I regret, I was a Boy Scout and the motto "Be Prepared" is imprinted in my skull. Too much stuff. I also, bought a light stick to ward off Pit Bulls, and a pepper spray gun. I also hang a neat black backpack with reflective printing over the handle bar for carrying stuff. Also, and extension to the handlebar to hold stuff. I use many removable plastic ties to hang thing on the bike.
It adds up. Most is carry over from my normal bike, so it was a recycled cost 😇. New are the seats, pedals, and rack, I really should not have thrown away the old pedals lol.
I take my Jetson bolt Pro into the house especially when I paid $300 for it which I have a $3,000 bike sitting outside right now that doesn't even f****** run because it got wet
Safety gear talk: Some people just don't care and will do whatever it takes to get where they want to go that second faster whether it endangers your life or not. Seat talk: Moped seat, costs about 50 bucks shipping included on ebay, best money I ever spent. Spring loaded and mounts to the seat post like a regular bike seat i.imgur.com/Ryw3DFF.jpg I'd add get a horn of some type. Helps when riding in places where pedestrians also frequent.

Great video and very entertaining. Do you really store the bikes outdoors though or was that just for presentation?
I really do, no space, I have three bolts under a single bbq cover right now

the folding pedals I have are by Schwinn, hope they work out
Cloud 9 bike seats are the best!
Good information. I just wish your item list showed the Canadian links. Also, I don't see that you recommend any additional lighting.
do you think i could get an extra long seat post to raise the seat height a bit?
Good video list
Mathew Dewolfe thanks for the update on my
Do you think tire upgrades are possible about to buy a Jetson an I live in cold so wanna prepare it for winter...
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it

@@YouTruther thanks!
How did you install the support beams on the back rack?
from what I recall, the rack is moved all the way forward to make it work.
You should take the ugly warning stickers off of the vertical bars. A hairdryer helps to take it off cleanly, too (I doubt you have a hairdryer by the look of your head, but your wife might 😁😁).
the secret to most adhesives….. oil 😀. will need to make more videos when it’s not as cold.
Would I be able to install a rack to do deliveries?
Please demonstrate how easy it is to fold up the bike and put in your vehicle with all that added stuff. Thanks.
th-cam.com/video/9cazc5uK3pw/w-d-xo.html 37 second mark
Make a video and show us exactly how to install the rear rack ?
partial shown here th-cam.com/video/2MaaK5Avl_I/w-d-xo.html , you can move the mounting points, but will have less range.
Me too I have one or same rack don’t know how he put it.
I got a question do you have a technique to lock it and not get stole it by stoler ??
Could you please tell me which bike seat for kids I could use for jetson j5 electric bike
How did you mount the rear rack? It looks like the brakes get in the way
th-cam.com/video/2MaaK5Avl_I/w-d-xo.html or have the rack all the way forward and use the longer bolt to share with a caliper
Did you have tu cut the back rack tube to make it shorter??
Yes, check this video: th-cam.com/video/2MaaK5Avl_I/w-d-xo.html
How are you I'm looking for a e bike to do deliveries something that goes 25 30 mph
Some kind of multi tool for car painting guns would might have a 19mm wrench in it
I got a normal bike multi tool kit and a 6” adjustable wrench, does the trick.
Bikeling panniers & cup holder.

The bike rack isn't available anymore. do you have another rec?
try these: amzn.to/3xfEQ6X or amzn.to/3jWNcxh, grab whatever is the lowest price, I have multiple in different brands, they are all the same.

The bike doesn't look that small to you, for reference can we get your height? 5'6?
5'7 165
How about signal lights
At most, a rear reflector 😄
Since when does a Ziploc bag qualify as a really good tool bag? Lol!
started as a joke, until it wasnt 😂
I think you've spent more on accessories than the bike is worth. You forgot pepper spray to thwart off thieves and bears.

Clean up your yard bro. Shit everywhere

elaborate on the $3k bike sitting outside.
Just put a shitload of lights on your bike it's what I had to do
I'm going to scheme a way to tap into the front lights, so when I power those lights, everything else powers, and off the main battery.....
