    Ashley Salazar, a dietitian from Providence Saint John's hospital, separates fact from fiction regarding popular diet recommendations for cancer prevention. She discusses topics such as whether sugar feeds cancer and if soy is friend or foe.
    About the presenter: Ashley Salazar, RDN is a registered dietitian who has experience in both inpatient and outpatient nutrition clinical care. She graduated magna cum laude from Pepperdine University with a Bachelor of Science in nutrition and dietetics and is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She is bilingual in English and Spanish. Her mission is to re-shape eating habits and empower patients to optimize their long-term health in sustainable ways. When she is not seeing patients, you can find her shooting cooking videos at home, trying new restaurants in Los Angeles, and hanging our with her cats Santorini and Mabel.
