Behold: one of the strongest contenders for Halo's worst fight scene. No offense to those who enjoy it, of course! I just feel that it goes off the deep end trying to portray the Sangheili as weak and incompetent.
I feel like its split, the arbiter vs forge is an awesome scene, showing that humans can barely keep up with elites and need every advantage they can get, and then the Spartans dunk on an armor of minors with spears
That's fair, and I appreciate the idea of the contrast. For me though, the situation feels so artificial that it breaks my suspension of disbelief. Not a single elite is carrying a gun or has an energy shield, and the invisible elites coming at the Spartans decloak at a nonsensical and least opportune time. That Forge has to go up against the Arbiter alone is entirely his own doing, so their entire fight feels [more] contrived. It seemed motivated by a petty grudge, and he boasted afterwards that he would've beaten Arbiter the first time (which I find kinda delusional), which makes me strongly dislike Forge. I also struggle to enjoy the fight scene at times because of how poorly choreographed it feels. Arbiter forgets he has a usable left arm from the time he loses his energy sword for that hand to the time he drops his right one. When Forge tackles Arbiter's right arm, Arbiter has such a massive number of things he could do, but he just lays there and takes it until Forge has emptied a pistol clip into his hand. Sword tunnel vision, I guess? But let's not touch upon how asinine it is that Forge is able to keep Arbiter's right arm pinned completely to the ground, but Arbiter's left arm is easily strong enough to lift his entire body. Though let's give Forge some credit here, too; he could've stuck that pistol under Arbiter's head and emptied it into him, but instead he decides to shoot his hand?

I’ve never been stabbed before but I don’t get why they don’t just take the other guy out with them, like he just had to move his arm a couple feet forward
Sadly no trophies were taken…
Why didn't forge have his signature shotgun against arbiter? The assault rifle and magnum he used didn't do squat
I think the spartan was using it
My ass. A normal human kills a 8 foot tall elite stronger than 2 of his own kind and faster than a spartan by sticking a combat knife in him. Thats like a jackal killing chief lol
when he football tackles arbiter should of been like him trying to tackle a brick wall lol
was there a need to throw his body lol. They were going to blow up the place anyway
By far the most ridiculous fight scene in Halo history.
Badass go spartan lls!
What's the story that introduces his daughter for the first time ?
t r h I bona notta 🤟
I just be playin games
This arbiter may be massive, but he's not a very good fighter. I doubt Forge can take out Halo 2 era Arbiter.
Fucking spears? what the fuck?
Wasn’t arbiter good? Confused he was with chief in halo 3
Arbiter is a title. He is a different Elite.
This is a Different arbiter. It’s a rank not a name.
And that team up was due to the flood being a graver threat if I remember correctly
Double Tap!
Leeds?
Always hated this scene. Sure most of the Elites have spears, they would’ve killed the Spartans easily. Just as the Arbiter would’ve destroyed Sgt. Forge.
Xere 'Vajix the arbiter did destroy him. And if it wasn’t for his own arrogance at the end and just stabbed him instead of picking him up he would of one.
@@bryces.4204 You’re right. It was Arbiter’s arrogance that killed him.
fake news
Bro I get that you like elites but all of those elites were the lowest rank out of them most likely fresh warriors without weapons but spears if that had weapons the Spartans might have died because this was before they had sheilds so the plasma weapons would've tore through there armor with ease hardly a fare fight against 3 Spartan 2s
Just like Kenobi destroyed you? Lmao
You can tell this is juuuuust post Halo 2 because EVERYONE DUAL WIELDS
Though let's give Forge some credit here, too; he could've stuck that pistol under Arbiter's head and emptied it into him, but instead he decides to shoot his hand?
this scene is just comical in how bad it is…truly a low point in the halo video games
