It’s amazing how you and your husband keep your cool throughout the whole ordeal 👏🏻

That sucks, mama. Sending you big hugs for dealing with all that. I’m glad all are healthy now 🙏 and hope it stays that way!

Ugh, sending you virtual hugs, mama! My little one got very sick on a trip in the US, I can't imagine dealing with that also being in a foreign country. Plus gastro illness is 1000% worse than any other illness in my opinion! Glad you all made it through.

Thank you so much for your message! I agree - it was “baby’s first gastro” for us and I couldn’t believe how rough it was! ❤

What a rough time! It sounds like you did the best you could in a VERY difficult and different environment from home. I can only imagine what an adjustment it is, physically and emotionally, to basically settle into a different life. Hope you can make an update soon! I stumbled on your channel looking for flying with a toddler tips and really enjoy your perspective and style even branching out from the helpful tips type videos.

German wisdom is to eat carrot soup for such times, just carrots, water and a bit of salt. This is what i do with my son, that and electrolytes.

Looks like a super long week in paradise! Your son was such a trooper! I wonder if you could bring spray bottles and vinegar to fend off the mold if you go to a similar area again? Stomach flu while traveling especially in areas with not a bunch of amenities is the worst! Ended up having to go to a hospital to get an IV and medicines cause fluids were coming out of both ends plus was pumping milk so was dehydrated to the max 🤣 plus Temps over 40C probably doesn't help with dehydration either...

Ugh that is awful!!! I’m sorry. Yeah… It definitely made me question all of my travel parenting decisions 😅But it was worth it!

Love your videos and tips but you’re truly insane to take a 2 year old to a place with no running water or bathroom nearby! 😂
