I loved what Ted Danson said a about Larry when someone asked him of Larry in real life is like Larry in the show. He said: "Larry in real life is exactly like he is in the show, except he has a heart of gold".
I agree because you need a full understanding of contemporary angst and "correct" social behavior to hold us up to the mirror collectively when we cross the line and become ridiculous.. Larry does that on every episode.
@@burnerlifeAnd coincidentally, that also happens to be exactly what the show persona would say if he played a half-obnoxious character based on himself! ;-)
I figured it out years ago that this laugh was his "TELL". He laughs like that in the show when he finds something genuinely funny. Larry is one of my favorite people on earth. Gonna miss that show.
@johnw U got the names correct! J B. is my fave on the show too! Maybe the other commenter didn't watch when Larry's wife convinced him to take in a family affected by Katrina. The Black family added to the show. So glad Leon Black stayed! He's hilarious!
They’re mainstream propaganda media - what do you expect? They’re so full of themselves, yet everyday they’re told what to say and not say. They’re disgraceful.
Yep, I turned it off when they all started talking at once. I have no idea why people think it takes 4 people to interview someone. Dumb producing. Interviews are best 1 on 1. Ask an intelligent question, NOT ("What's your favourite episode") and then shut up and listen without interrupting.
The central premise of "Curb" is that Larry constantly gets blamed for things that aren't his fault, but also gets away with reprehensible things. It's that space between wanting to be angry at him and feeling sorry for him that makes the show so unique and so good. We ALL walk that fine moral line.
I’m just glad that we were blessed with Larry David’s genius comedy, i’ve been a Seinfeld fan all my life and we will never have anything like it again. I mean because of him I respect wood now.😂
@@billfletcher7602he was trying to get a Curb moment but I guarantee Larry hates Joe. Remember, Scarborough is just a regular type Republican a-hole who helped pave the way for Trump…
It’s amazing seeing lower level humans interact with high levels lol Susie knew Larry was annoyed the WHOLE time and was annoyed too but operated well. Beautiful
The older I get the more I realize Art is where it’s at. We live in a great country that presents a corner of the room for the creativeness of of our souls to to shared and enjoyed.
Besides this very good interview, I watched Susie on Howie Mandel’s podcast recently. Her acting and comedy speaks for itself, but just wanted to comment how genuine and endearingly pleasant of a person she is, love to see it. Curb imo is the funniest show there will ever be.
Discovered that there is a Chat 'n Cut" situation in the film "Moscow on the Hudson" with Robin Williams, made many moons ago! It is at about 11 minutes in a real "bread line" in Moscow in the snow. The line was about 4 blocks long for toilet paper and shoes.Robin's character was not about to cut in, but a lady admonished him for chatting with an old friend who he was surprised to see.
JB and Larry are by far the best combo on that show. The Wheelchair Wendy, when Leon asked Larry did he do the dizzle on her. How Leon would have handled it 💀 so many good lines between those two!
Larry David has one of the most talented comedic minds. He over amplifies situations we've either been in and/or thought of and perfectly ties in all the nuances to a hysterical conclusion. He's on my fantasy friends list. Love him!
Susie Essman appeared on the late show with Colbert and she was on maybe 5 minutes and Colbert to end the interview thanked her and true to form said “What THATS IT!”. Priceless
Rewatching the show recently and seeing that Larry wasn’t wrong all the time. He said what he wanted to, just his delivery and tone are wild. But I love how he truly does not care.
I was on the plane the other day, and I watched a couple of episodes of the last season that they did prior to this and it was hysterical. She😂 cracks me up.
Curb’s easily my fave TV comedy of all time be it network, streaming, or cable. Just have to add imo Super Dave Osborne/Marty Funkhouser/Bob Einstein in any scene with LD was platinum/gold master of the universe hilarity of the deepest, unrelentingly comedic kind. Tragic he, Richard, and Philip Baker Hall passed before the series did. Such great foils for Larry and each one irreplaceable. Susie deserves all the accolades there are for her work on Curb. Absolutely as good as it gets. Just my opinion but I think the two of them are now almost extensions of one another. They’ll be best buds for eternity.
This interview is actually great. All the other interviews ive seen this press round Larry is showcasing his alter ego from the show, but Larry just seems so comfortable in this interview, and of course Susie is great company as well.
Seeing Susie be complimentary to Larry just feels wrong
😂😂😂
I’m glad to see I’m not the only one!
Right…she should be cussing him out and screaming at him to get TF out😂
Larry should've took her home tour. 😂
Didn’t you Love when Viveca Fox told her off
The best

I feel like the Larry in the show does in a weird way though haha
Larry David is hands down the absolute comedy genius of our time. 🏆
Thank you.

Why is he so nasty?
@@zapkvr It's just his schtick. He's the "nasty" inside all of us, but he lets his out and always pays the price for it.

Really, Susie Essman is the best -- no one can erupt in anger as well as she can.
her reactions are hilarious! she's the perfect sparring partner for Larry.
You should meet my ex wife - wow, she would put Susie to shame
@@charlesdehavilland2437 Impressive. Really.
Why Larry loves her so much
She was hilarious in the Doll episode.

JB Smoove is comedy genius as Leon Black. His character often has me rolling on the floor in laughter.

danny duberstein!
“Did you bring it?”
Who are these people? They didn't let Larry get a word in. They need to shut up!
And, more importantly, let Suzie speak. Was so rude of them to try to just dismiss her. She's the reason I clicked on this stupid thing.

This happens a lot when comedians is being interviewed. Everyone tries to one up them.
"Just shut up, Joe."
That sounded very genuine, Larry....Lol
It definitely seemed like it lol especially with the “ohhhh”s ensuing after

I’m always most angry at everyone else in the show.
Well said.
Hosts who aren't funny shouldn't try to out-comedy the legend.
I kinda liked how they ripped into him though, and he seemed to enjoy it.

A brilliant series ⭐️
LD is a national treasure . He’s the guy we all wish we could be .

He is a national treasure ❤
Larry David, like Harvey Weinstein, is a disgrace for the Jewish nation
the way they conducted the interview is everything "curb larry" would despise. lol "talk about the journey"
These guys are the worst. I feel bad for them having to do this interview
Yes definately
All these talking heads are insipid bores.
I’m resubscribing to Max! I got to see the final season. It always brings me joy to watch JB Smooth and Larry, they are the best
Larry David should run for President. The debates against Trump would be epic.
Epic.
What debates? Trump is not only orange but yellow
Pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty epic
‘Coughing’. DT would crush poor Larry. No. That is not Larry’s element. Liberals don’t have solutions. They create problems.
Amazing comment 😅
Love Curb and Larry and the whole cast! ❤
JB Smoove really is amazing as Leon.
Pretaaaay good
JB Smoove coming on full time changed the show. Leon and Larry discussion are some of the best scenes of the show
+1 for Philip Baker Hall. I can't get enough of his library cop routine on Seinfeld or his work on Boogie Nights.
Equally- on a great film, by P.T. Anderson called "Hard 8" 👍👍👍
"Punks like you that break the law" to Seinfeld - didn't know he was in boogie nights gonna have to re-watch was so long ago
It’s amazing seeing lower level humans interact with high levels lol Susie knew Larry was annoyed the WHOLE time and was annoyed too but operated well. Beautiful
Yup!! I’m surprised Larry only told him to shut up. Joe was being so rude
Greatest sitcom of the modern era ( last 25 yrs) The dolls head episode is a work of art.
Extras, The Larry Sanders Show, and the original British version of The Office definitely rival it for #1.....but its up there!
I’d throw arrested development in there but Curb is elite
I recently rewatched that episode 😂 what a great show
Favorite episode of mine of curb. “What are you itching your balls for”

Larry's a genius, period!
There MUST be a Curb 13th Season, and 14th and 15th . . .
I'd settle for the occasional standalone episode whenever he thinks of new ideas for the show.
