At the 35 minute mark Larry says what I had been thinking all along... for no particular reason other than a jonesing for Larry, I have been on an LD interview kick and I just want to say how refreshing it was to hear something different in the interview. So far in the first half hour 95% of the discussion was completely unheard of from any other interview. Kudos and thanks to Kevin P. You've earned a new viewer. By far the best LDavid interview on the Interwebs. I also feel compelled to add that I have probably seen every interview/podcast with Larry David and this is the one I have watched more than once. I'm just a Protestant white guy from the South, but there's a vibe about Jewish/NYC humor that really strikes me as being the heart of all American stand-up. I guess it goes back to Vaudville and the early days of radio. Then 3 Stooges through Mel Brooks' and Woody Alens' heydays. I mean, you have the Irish/Catholic influence of Carlin, too, as well as the whole "When Stand-Up Stood Out" crew out of Boston, also Irish/Catholic, but you really appreciate what being sort of the underdogs in the past fostered in both stand-up comedy and Marvel and DC Comics. What gives? And look how a pre-Internet movie like "Mr.Saturday Night" gave rise to a common catchphrase on FaceBook and TH-cam...."You see what I did there?"/"I see what you did there".

The part saying he asked to just go to the stage to start talking, haha, "have you done comedy before ?" "no", how hard it is, you just go and start talking. So much laughing.

I forget my TH-cam comments auto post to G+, what a ridiculous thing to have on default.

Great interview, thank you! Larry David is the man, him and George Carlin just get me laughing crazy amounts. I don't think I could have kept a straight face or stopped laughing if I was doing this interview with LD lol.

Larry is not irreverent. He analyzes quirks in society for the sake of comedy, not because he is bitter or disrespectful

You can tell why larry is successful, super honest to himself, and his work, and the audience. dang.

I love the phraseology Larry uses in real life and on Curb. Like "You have to increase the mumble-volume" or when Richard Lewis says "She has bowel-concerns for you" on Curb. Makes me laugh.

LOve Larry watch him every night before i go to sleep to get a laugh. Because laghter is the best medicine. I am intersted on knowing about his time as a Saturday night writer and the time he spent on Fridays. Never talks about that

The interweaving of stories was brilliant on that show. No other show had ever done that better than Seinfeld.

LD's response to the fan questions was hilariously callous - reminds me of the scene on Curb with the kids selling lemonade!
