      Oh boy. Have you seen Vietnamese construction channels? Let's just say that asides the HORRIBLE and often non-existent safety standards... I highly doubt the houses and roads that they build are structurally sound, or have long before turning into broken down ruins; and these are the construction projects that look nice and pretty at the end. It's a fascinating rabbit hole to go down into.

    Backyard Ballistics did the world a great disservice when he defined those two categories of fake restorations. He defined "mild fakes" people actually weathering the objects then restoring them, but that's not always the case. In many cases, they film the objects being ruined, then arrange the clips in REVERSE ORDER to make it look like it's getting better. They just destroy an object and throw it away!

    It works just like regular soldering flux.

    • @I.____.....__...__
      @I.____.....__...__ ปีที่แล้ว

      Yup, it helps the solder flow better instead of globbing up. It can also be ground to a power and mixed with alcohol to make a more liquid/pasty mixture. What's interesting is that it's just regular resin, like the kind that oozes out of trees and that people who play string instruments rub onto their bows to increase friction.
