To Security guard Paul, don't ever put yourself down as a "lowly Security Guard". Nothing lowly about it, you handled yourself well and showed an interest, sussed out that DJ was no threat to security, had a positive interaction and went on about your day. If only there were more like you.

doesn't have to be on display, its preferred but if a guard can produce it i.e from his pocket or work-bag that is acceptable. it can also be shown once then put away instantly because if you snatch his badge the guard has to pay for a new one and why would they risk that

It all worked out fine, and you got to know more than you probably expected, Just shows, be nice and polite and it can get you a lot of what's going on. Other auditors please take note.

The noise from your bike is loose spokes on the rear wheel.
If you tighten them all with a spoke key it will stop making that creaking noise.
My mates Mi-rider did the same.

Well done Paul the security guard taking an interest and knowing the laws. Other security guards need to learn from him how to be professional.
He did his job. Tried to dissuade DJ from using his camera. But didn't push it. And used his discretion to know when enforcing a policy is not applicable.

11:15 - I'm not sure on the model you have, however the Spark version, assuming yours has sports mode, it (or at least my Spark did) overrides the sensors.
