I fully own it. I can't count how many times where I rush into a play and then immediately realize I botched that turn. I need to slow down each turn. But I get excited. So, you're not alone in this. We all make goofs. Some of us more than others. Ha.

Same here I played pkm in junior high and was mtg by high-school. Had a kid and had to sell a lot of my collection (force of wills, ect). Stopped playing bc of cost but now my kid is 7 and is into pkm so I found my green light 🚦😂
I've lost count of how many times I've set up an amazing play just to get to the end and realize I don't have the energy. Happens to the best of us!
and it's always so sad and irritating when you realize you had the play, but you did it wrong in a rush 😢

They definitely did Blastoise and Venusaur dirty compared to Charizard. Needing 4 energy to do 280 is stupid when you take into account you aren't getting a KO on other stage 2s without max belt.
You also need to keep recycling your resources, and finding a way to get the energy attached.
Can say Blastoise and 151 fire Charizard is pretty balance good card just underused, Venusaur is way too dirty underpowered attack, took a lot of setup and resources in play but the impact is little, but Tera charizard is bit overpowered and milked out in every way they could, this deck only can be play for low resources around 6 energy because of the acceleration

How did chien pao do 120 to blastoise ex (16:25) when blastoise ability reduces 30 dmg? From attacks. It's not damage counters, it's 60 damage for each energy discarded.

Yep all these people selling decks made (there are some on eBay too) are inflating the price by 70-100 dollars just to pre make your deck for you and include sleeves 😂
Budgeting these days seems to not be a concern for young folks.
These decks are priced based on the English market not American which typically is considerably cheaper. And for accuracy it works out at just over 160 dollars. Not 200 so although still quite expensive its much less than 200.

I playing blastoise since 151... i tried so many differnt versions... with palkia and bibs, with palkia and dudncesparce, with palkia, pidgey and bibs and currently with greninja ex, bibs and a one one line palkia. But in the last verusion blastoise is just the 2nd attacker

Im playing only one palkia and hisuian basculegion. Also go for scoop up as ace spec.
Its very hard to 1hko blas and u can use the 2 energy attached to the dmged blas to attack with another.
Charizard and dragapult isnt relevant right now, and with keiran u can 1hko garde if u need it.

@9:45 it is true of RNG. From what ive found decks that play consistently are best for average players. Only players like Tord can play the decks that are over 50% one ofs

As someone with ADHD, we HAVE to stop calling ourselves stupid. Even if it's a joke, it can still do damage. We literally have a brain that works against us, if we could think clearly, we would. Be nice to yourself cuz your brain won't.
It's important to call yourself out, and if you have an issue it's that much more important so lessons learned click. It's constructive for me because I need that self accountability and it creates a memory for me to learn things from. I get where you're coming from, but everyone needs to figure out their own way to call themselves out in a healthy constructive way.
