You can either get a taller backdrop/backdrop holder (easiest option) or if it is too short, you can make a selection of the player and fix the background of the back ground layer the make sure the player selection is on the top layer. To fix the background layer you can either close stamp, or use the content aware fill tool like I did in the video to fix the edges.
@@prettywittydesigns979 so you can do it either way. I personally charge the team or booster club BUT I have an option to for the team to get the parents to pay. It is easier to have the team pay me but some teams don’t have as much money to do that.
That has been my experience too. I charge the school a small amount. I photograph every kid. I edit them and put them on my PhotoDay site for families to purchase. Some do better than others. There are always the "screenshot people" who post screenshots of my work--of course my name and logo is watermarked all over their face! The days of kids remembering to bring money for pictures is gone. Generally, they are a little clueless-getting them to the session is a win.
This is a great video! Thanks for sharing :)

What material did you make the black backdrop out of?
I used 1/4 inch sheeting for the background and 1x4’s for the frame of it
What size do you usually crop at for media day photos?
I normally leave them at the original camera ratio or I crop it to a 4x5
