Really nice video, love the foward looking view.Rode that line many times into the city, for fun and shows. Now i'm feeling the urge to take a ride just for the fun of it.Thanks for posting, love it.
@treesandcoffee Catenary systems are used throughout Europe, on some of the fastest lines in the world as well as street railways [trams]. I think the 'third rail' system is only used in subways.
do you know where i can find a track map of the metro north or a diagram of the metro north that shows all the junctions and signals because i have a simulator called trainz classics and it has the built in harlem line from bronxvill-southeast. I have created it up to wassaic but i want to know where the signals and junctions are because i am doing railfanning for my first time this summer on new haven line and i want to build it from the new haven line down to grand central terminal.
from 59th street to 97th street on inner tracks, 60 MPH 80th-82th streets and 95th-97th streets on outer tracks, 45 MPH, with 60 MPH in between the two sections
My favourite bit from your MNRR series! Please keep up the posting, you've got an avid fan here. =)
