Very good video! It's useful, also for me, and I'm Dutch :) Food prices have increased though, in my experience €100 is a bit optimistic, but €150-200 is doable. If you drink alcohol, especially out or on parties, that will increase the expenses a lot. As an employee of a university, gym subscriptions cost €0-400 per year, depending on university. You might have to pay an additional fee (+/- €40) for a (student) sports club on top of that. As for public transport; within the cities, you're generally faster by bike! I have only one question is that student in NL is allowed to work for 16 hrs per week is it really enough to cover your expenses or is there any other way. I am planning to live in Eindhoven, Thanks
No, that can partially cover living expenses. You can try to do an industrial thesis and earn some money at that time which can cover monthly living expenses as mentioned in this video: th-cam.com/video/eXO8cfkGeIs/w-d-xo.html
Can I get an idea about students accommodation at Amsterdam as I have received and admission from Virje University Amsterdam but deferred it due to this pandemic next year and shall I consider that my food expenses (grocery) will be within 100 euros? I'm not looking for eating outside in 2 years.
Normally students accommodation range between 500 - 800 Euros for simple small studio type accommodations in Amsterdam. Yes, you can survive with less than 100 Euros for food if you cook :) Also, if you have a private accommodation then you can get a house rent allowance which is explained in details in this video: th-cam.com/video/ADqYQrl_fKg/w-d-xo.html
It depends how much and what type of loan you want to take! Sometimes people need to keep something in mortgage depending on the nature and amount! But, the good thing is that you can repay most of it even if you take a really higher amount as a loan in 2.5 or 3 years considering the savings we mentioned in this video! Hi. I and my wife are planning to go to netherlands to study 2 years mba from a private university called webster university. it is ACBSP and NVAO accredited. The biggest confusion is whether it will be a problem for us to get a job there after we complete a degree from such a private university. Please guide.
Normally as far as I know, people who study in Erasmus Rotterdam get a very good job with high bracket salary and the MBA is for only 1 year! So, I am not sure if a 2 year MBA from private University will affect your chances. I think it will be better for you to check in LinkedIn if there is any alumni from that University and what are they doing after MBA. Don't forget to SUBSCRIBE to get all updates 😊
Around 2-3 years after you start earning from a job here to pay back a loan of around 30-40 lakhs INR. These are estimates. Will make a detailed video on this soon!
Yes, definitely. Why not? Normally there are some child care allowances that you can get for raising your child here. It is otherwise known as the care allowance. The children’s allowance helps cover the costs of raising children. The amount you receive depends on your child's age, how many you have, whether they live at home or not and if they have a side job. Don't forget to SUBSCRIBE to get all updates! In 2018 the amount per child per quarter is: 201,05 euros for children aged 0 to 5 years 244,13 euros for children aged 6 to 11 years 287,21 euros per quarter for children from 12 to 17 years. "You don't have to take it....but.....yeah I'm just stupid" 😅 😅 😅 Loved the video. Super helpful. Also do the expenses increase or decrease for Wittenborg U and the Apeldoorn area?
Thank you bro! Most places in Netherlands have similar expenses. The only variation factor is the housing expense! Only housing near center and in Amsterdam is super high otherwise everything is same all over the Netherlands!
Well 2 years back housing rent in Eindhoven was cheaper than Delft but I don't know the exact situation now. Still I think they are more or less similar. Don't forget to SUBSCRIBE to get all updates!
Dear Sambit, I wish to send my daughter for her bachelors in The Netherlands, most probably in Ledien, but here in India it's a common perception that if you don't know Dutch, you will really be having a very hard time, your life would be miserable as you won't be able to get any job as a student. Is it true? Please throw some light on this language issue.
No, it is absolutely not true! If you check the statistics then more than 99% people speak English because English is the second language for every small kid in school after Dutch. Also, I have stayed here for more than 4.5 years and I don't know how to speak Dutch! It is surprisingly easy to survive here contrary to Germany even if you don't know Dutch at all! No, it is not possible to change like that unless you are on an Erasmus exchange program which is most of the time for Masters. Why don't you apply for the universities there or try to do some summer exchange during Bachelors for 6 months in those countries when you study in Netherlands. It might be possible!
@@SambitPhD I didn't get it what did you meant by summer exchange..?? And I have one more thing to know how much bank statement do I need to show for Holland..?

For MBA few years back it was around 50000 Euros per year and the course in RSM was for 1 year. It is really expensive. There are some cheaper options which I have heard recently and may be useful for you. Will make a video on that soon! Don't forget to SUBSCRIBE to get all updates 😊
Thanks! Don't forget to SUBSCRIBE to get all updates! Tax is progressive and depends on your gross salary, the more it is, the more you pay! For e.g. , for my PhD gross salary of 2700 Eur per month, I pay around 500 Eur per month as tax. For sending money to India, best option is Transferwise with minimal charge of around 6 Eur per 1000 Eur sent to India at the latest exchange rate and also reaches in seconds. Will make a video on Transferwise soon :) :)
It's like TDS in India. So, tax is deducted from the source or the monthly salary that you receive on hand is already after tax deduction. Don't forget to SUBSCRIBE to get all updates!

@@SambitPhD Thanks for kind reply As I am registered for bachelor's degree in both of the university for computer science and my plans are to study further in TU Munich for master so which one is better as per my further plans. Fontys university of applied sciences in Eindhoven or Tilburg university . Regards I am already a subscriber 😊
There is not much difference for Bachelor's but if you want to do a Masters in a TU then I would also recommend to do Bachelor's in TU or technical university. Meet you soon in Netherlands then :)
@@SambitPhD This, if you want to follow a university-level master it is required to do a university-level bachelor or a pre-master. If you choose to go to the university of applied sciences, you will first have to do a pre-master to get the required knowledge for the master that you will miss on the applied sciences level. At my study, you do see some applied sciences students doing a pre-master and then following the master itself. The pre-master is hard and intense (as it is sort of a selection for students who did not follow the required bachelor, whoever can complete it will be suitable to follow the master) and it is easier to just go through a university-level bachelor and then follow the master level.

Bro we r about to come Rotterdam place with family of 4 members. Can u please roughly tell me the cost of living in Rotterdam with family . Can we manage a family with a salary of 50000euros per annum..please bro reply
A family apartment will be roughly around 800 - 1400 Eur per month depending on the location and the type of the house. For e.g., a house away from the center will be cheaper than a house close to the center. The food and other expenses will depend a lot and if 50000 Eur per annum is gross salary then it may be just ok or may not be sufficient but if 50000 is net salary i.e., salary on hand then it should be more than sufficient! If you had admits from both in data science then I would prefer Eindhoven over Twente mainly because of the location which is nearer to major cities like Amsterdam, Delft, Rotterdam, Den Haag. Also, when you do an internship then you will be working very near to Eindhoven as it's an industrial hub. But, Twente is more on a secluded location. It has also good educational facilities for CS and not much different than Eindhoven.

How difficult is it to get education loan?

Can a single mother from india go to neatherland as a student will she get any allowance or anything which help her raising her child
In 2018 the amount per child per quarter is:
201,05 euros for children aged 0 to 5 years
244,13 euros for children aged 6 to 11 years
287,21 euros per quarter for children from 12 to 17 years.

South and north of the Netherlands are less expensive.
Maastricht in the south,

Yes, you can get jobs. You have to build a good LinkedIn profile to start getting noticed by the recruiters as it is more powerful than the traditional methods of applying for the jobs in Netherlands!
Sorry Anna, I am little inexperienced in this but this website may help you: access-nl.org/living-netherlands/childcare/how-much-does-day-care-cost-and-can-i-get-help-with-its-cost/ Also you get a partial allowance to reimburse certain costs. I am not sure but probably it is comes under the care allowance category!
Please explain about PR rules in Netherland

bro can we get part time job? how much we can earn during study .... thnx
Yes, you can do a part time job in Netherlands. Normally you are allowed to work max 16 hours per week. Better google it to be sure regarding the hour limit. The salary will be somewhere around 13-16 Eur per hour. At max if you really get to work more hours and you are lucky then some can earn around 500-800 Eur per month which is enough for the living costs! Don't forget to SUBSCRIBE to get all the updates!
@@SambitPhD thanks for this added info. I wanted to inquire about that as well. I plan on moving to the Netherlands in September
@@Stanleyanukege I have also made a detailed video on part-time videos. Do check that out! th-cam.com/video/eWdhoqFzLaY/w-d-xo.html

Hi bro, I need to ask you If we are getting e.g. 70k annually how much we can save after getting a Tax deduction or other expenses
Difficult to tell as it varies but roughly you would get a net salary on hand of approx. 3000 - 3500 Eur per month and your living expenses as a Bachelor will be roughly 1000-1500 Eur per month unless you stay in Amsterdam where housing is very expensive and your living costs will increase significantly!
