Love my Max. ❤ His story was a rollercoaster, many ups and downs, but he's special to so many people, including myself, and I wish him the best of luck in this next chapter of his life... Can't wait for all of the Max babies to enter the world next year!
Could EASILY see how Top Level Talented he was just by his First couple of Career Races...9-2 Odds in The Fla Derby seemed like a GIFT in my Opinion...He had a VERY Uncomfortable Trip in the Classic
As you can see, Max slowed down significantly in his final races. Similar to other Baffert horses like Arrogate and Bayern. Were they injured? They did not seem the same.
Doesn't anyone know that's watching this who had him b4 Bob and watch kinda juice he was running on... Yeah the juice had litteraly already been squeezed...It's a miracle or should I say the Juice Baffert was using was as good or better than Seevis do get him to keep running after he had been thru the Juice mill...
He's standing at Coolmore's Ashford Stud along with 2015 Triple Crown winner American Pharoah and 2018 Triple Crown winner Justify, and Max just finished his first breeding season so... No, he didn't get sent to slaughter. 🤦🏻♀️
@Soem_Solw The racehorses who are typically sent to slaughter are the ones who didn't perform well on the track or didn't have a big name. Maximum Security has a huge fanbase and is well known (not all for the greatest of reasons either) but horses like him won't end up as dog food. The last time a big name horse was slaughtered was Ferdinand and that happened because he was sold to Japan and didn't perform well over there as a sire. Things have been set in place to prevent such things from happening again, however, but the horses who have been forgotten about (the non-stars) aren't as protected. 😔

They should have never given Bob baffert this horse ,he ruined this Cham
