Tamar said "I WAS DEVASTATED!" But when Jeanie said it was rude of her friend to do that Tamar acts like she wasn't "DEVASTATED".

I think its so rude to reject someone's gift. If you really don't like it, just fake it. Because honestly, I spend a lot of time thinking of gifts and especially if it was given to you by a friend or family member, how can you hurt their feelings? It blows my mind that people think that accepting a gift when you don't like it is rude. At least give the person the pleasure of accepting their gift. I mean really? I'm happy to get any gift. Ever hear the saying, 'its the thought that counts?' Who cares if you keep it long-term? Just accept it and move on.

You can only collect so many things that you don’t want… you know?

Why are you people doing this? Seriously?! Yes, Tamar said "that's rude!" They ALL did! Tamar continued by saying "Don't say anything, just exchange them." Think about it this way, would you like someone telling you that your style sucked after you've given them a gift? I think not.

the difference is Tamar never disagrees with anyone else as strongly like she always does with jeannie, she is always rolling her eyes when jeannie speaks or looking at the audience like "this bitch". I never see her do that Tamara, Loni, or Adrienne. She throws so much shade at jeannie and everyone notices it. If she were equally bitchy to the others it would make sense but it seems her distaste is only towards one person every time.
I think if someone gives you a gift, especially something as thoughtful as Tamar's gift, you should accept it even if you don't like it. My fiancé's mom gave my a little bracelet for christmas but I don't wear jewelry because of my religion. I still kept it and I have it displayed on my dresser. It warms my heart when I look at it everyday even though I don't wear it. My friends have given me many gifts over the years that i didn't exactly care for but I kept them all because it makes me happy to just look at them :)

Many people in this country are secretly into dark worship and they will give out gifts that represent their secret activities. A gift is a subliminal representation of what you think of the person you are giving it to. A "death skull" is indeed a gift with bad intent. That's like giving someone a gift of falling over a cliff. Would you accept that and put your life on the line just to be polite? I think not!

+Courtney Styles duh, I didn't say I wouldn't take a gift if 1 was given to me, I just said I prefer not to exchange gifts. There are usually hints given or convos that come up to where I can just say I don't need anything because I shop enough on my own so I don't usually exchange gifts. And then that alerts them that they don't need to worry about getting me anything (unless they truly know of something that I don't have but want). Not sure why that sounds bitchy to you that I can do without gifts.
Now if someone did have a skill to make me something themselves that would be awesome, and a friend of mine would know that I would appreciate that more than something bought out of obligation to our consumerist materialistic world.

At the beginning of the video when Loni looked in Tamar's direction I laughed because I had watched the secret santa clipped before this one.
This actually just happened to me a few days ago.. Usually I don't exchange gifts for Christmas, but I'm trying to get better with giving.. So I went out and purchased like this gaming chair for someone close. I don't know much about gaming chairs, but the guy at the store said it was their best seller so I spent a little under $200 for it. Well, here I am thinking I did this great thing and my loved one looks at the box and says, "This isn't a real gaming chair. This is just a chair. Real gaming chairs have speakers." HURT MY FEELINGS SOOOO BAD!! Usually I don't exchange gifts on Christmas because I hate that people get so ungrateful! I eventually told the individual that it hurt my feelings, and they apologized.. but I just gave them the receipt and told them to exchange it for one that they wanted. I personally feel like even if you don't like the gift.. BE APPRECIATIVE because the thought and people's hard-earned money really does matter. Then return it or exchange it or whatever. It's how you do it that makes the difference.. But I agree with Tamar.. always include a gift receipt. But her friend was so not cool for pushing the gift back like that.

I don't observe Christmas, but to me if someone gives you a gift, and assuming it's coming from their heart, I think you should accept the gift gracefully. When people give gifts nowadays, they're expecting a certain reaction, and when they don't get the proper reaction, they get pissed off.
Lol...when I was a high school freshman I had this thing for skulls, I always wanted skull designs on my t-shirts and gloves. As I got older, I quickly grew out of it. Now the only thing I would rock with skulls on it are Skull Candy Headphones.
I'm not too big into the holidays and don't normally expect gifts (mainly because I don't ask for anything), but when I get a gift I don't want, I just put it up somewhere or TRY to get some use out of it. I would feel horrible asking them could i exchange it, especially if they put time and thought into picking it out.
And if I can't get any use out of it, I see if they want to borrow it (since they loved it so much obviously) and borrow something of theirs that I like in exchange 😜)

Robyn McLean Weave and extensions are the same thing. The difference is black women usually refer to fake hair as weave and non black women call it extensions. Whether she wears it sometimes or all the time, she wears it.
+Santricia Jones for me, weave is something you can't take out easily as it's basically sewn into your own hair when it's braided, extensions are like clip on or something you have in with hair glue. That's just my point of view on the whole thing. But to each their own.

I did notice how Tamar always has something to say to Jeanie to refute what she says. Here is a hypocritical moment: Jeanie mentioned that her mom purchased caskets on sale for her and other family members one Christmas and Tamar said it was hoooorrrible. Now Tamar reveals to us that her friend refuseed her death skull gift, and Tamar is offended. If Tamar meant well she would have given her friend an angel ring or a butterfly or something lovely. At the least, evil shady Tamar should have returned the nasty ring and gotten her friend something that represents life.
If you didn't notice, skulls are popular now. For what reason? I don't know. They don't see it as a "death" thing. So buying something with a skull on it for someone is not farfetched. However buying caskets on sale for family members? That's very creepy. There's no hypocrisy here.
