This is how games should evolve .. Devs that listen, and are adapting as the community desires (within boundaries). Well done, keep it up.
Yes, glad you mention "within boundaries". I've seen many games where the developer basically just does whatever the fans want and the game loses its personality. Nothing is wrong with the game necessarily, but it's less interesting. Game design is a careful business. My concern with Nightingale, and why I really wanted some type of offline mode, is what happens if servers go down in 10 years? Will all my saves/worlds be unplayable? That's why I wanted offline mode. I've still very interested to see how far they can push the realms idea. Nightingale feels very fresh compared to other games in the genre, I love the world and lore they have going

Excellent! I bought this on release day, but haven't played it because I have kids and not being able to pause a game isn't an option. Finally, I can explore this at will. Thank you
I was very excited about this game but when it came out I realized that it didn't have magic, just something to buff the weapon... such a beautiful world with so much magic and our character doesn't have any magical weapons or actual magic. I still hope there's something like that in the future.

we all gotta be honest here. they are doing an incredible job at answering the community and even more so the amount of content they're adding in each update. It puts other devs to shame.
I'm psyched about all these updates! I played at launch but have been on a bit of a hiatus for the last few weeks & didn't realize quite a few of the issues I saw have been fixed. 💘

Not gonna lie, the introduction of the solo/offline mode made me finally buy the game. Great idea!
Thank the community for the push back the devs kept shooting it down look at the numbers on steam from release to before the offline mode update says everything
@@Demonsouls1993 To be fair, this **is** a very unusual solution for a live service game, but definitely one I would like to see implemented in many, many more games - especially since, let's be honest, at some points the servers of every live service game get shut down - and this isn't the only live service game with a viable solo component.
i see a great future for this game , i cant wait for future updates , i think this game is gonna be an absolute blaster if they keep listening to the community
There's currently an Open World Survival Crafting Fest going on on Steam and this is how I found out about this game. The crafting/building from storage feature is great. I play a survival crafting game that doesn't have that and it's just really frustrating running around taking out items needed, it's literally the most requested feature in that game lol. So I'm glad this game has it. Also the game looks beautiful, I just bought it.
Being able to start with the red dress from the trailer is disproportionately awesome!

Offline mode is a step in the right direction but private servers are the way survival games are meant to be played. Hope to hear about those soon.

A lot of great looking updates! Really hoping for more decorations and building parts and increased build limits, excited to see decorations as rewards for the new event. And fingers crossed for being able to color our outfits soon. This game has so much potential!

Very nice! I was worried at first with the limited time event, but until july is not bad. Everything else looks quite interesting too! Can't argue with new questlines! Hope they're voiced, what was there on release was great (screw the people who don't like old english!)

Since the beginning, they have stated that dedicated servers would come after release. Hopefully they don't divert more time.and resources to do this early. People wanted offline, they got offline

Good update, but Offline mod should have LAN co op play or have it so people can set up dedicated servers themselves for just friends to play.

ever since this update desart relms have been messing up if I go in to mu pack my guy runs around and I cant use anything from my pack Hurberam relm is the worst, I tell you this here because if iI click report bug the page comes up blank and all the forams are locked.

So you could've waited a few months and release this version which is much better, or maybe this version happened because of our feedback well who knows...
Their intention was always to go to EA with online only (and they had several good reasons for doing so) with offline mode being something later down the pipeline. The devs didn’t anticipate just how important having offline mode was for players, so as soon as EA started, they shifted priorities and put offline mode at the top of the list, getting to work on it immediately.
@@Hannah_Becton yes but they added other stuff which improved the game other than offline. offline was no brainer.
Since the beginning, they stated offline and dedicated servers would come after release. They stated due to the feedback they would shift gears to add asap. So we DO know. In fact they obviously want to show good faith and are releasing it before its fully complete so we can see by actions and not promises.

Was excited for this game before then found out it was online only getting sick and tried of that online only bs so didn't buy now that you listened and added offline you got an excited customer again
thanks for the work but i guess youre using a different type of version of the actualk game for the video here because i have the strongest Radeon graphic cards and its still lagging on 60 FPS. i could play every other game on Epic graphics with 130 Fps. weird.

I believe it's still an early access so not anytime soon.
So glad they diverted time and resources away from the core game to satify those who wanted something they were not selling. But at this point the game is at a hail mary point. Either this brings in mew purchases or the game dies out. Really hope it pulls thru.
Everything looks pretty good except for character creation and costumes. I hope the developer opens up space for modders to be creative.

So funny, you can say you want solo offline mode is safe here on TH-cam but dear god if you say on Reddit the trolls come out annoyed and mad at you. What’s such a big deal to want offline solo mode.
Well it diverts time and resources away from a game that was sold as online always with a promise for offline and dedicated servers. But people wanted to spend money and require them to change thier whole dev plans.
Money is money, growth of their plans grow the game into what the community wants. How many games exist that the community wanted that are bad vs how many are bad that the devs made their vision come true. Gollum, the day after, forespoken (did not listen)… vs salt and sanctuary, enshrouded, baldurs gate 3, hell divers 2 (listened to the community). Changing plans for a better game to the community is the point of early access
i think you should give us the option to zoom into the scope of a marksman rifle like its usual for other third person games.
The last update was so good, I'm not happy with this one. All the colors and outfits were broken again, everything was turned down again and perks were taken away again. Why should I play this if I'm forced to repeat everything I've already done? I loved the game until I looked at my stats yesterday. I spent weeks looking for materials and colors in vain. This really isn't funny anymore. Why isn't this in the patch notes? I no longer feel like crafting every outfit 10 times... and I also don't feel like farming the material 10 times... if the material even still exists. I'm really sad.

Mabye NOW that the time consuming task of "offline" mode has been done. the Dev team can have time to work on the Building Item Limits? That would be most welcome now that we are getting very pretty Estate Decroations. It would be nice to have the build budget to use them :)
We've also been working hard on that and will have an update on progress in the future :)
For real. We needed content and polish. Hopefully this will bring up reviews at least.
@PlayNightingale Great to hear. This is our groups biggest concern. Aside from the realms being lack luster. Hoping to see better more filled out realms to make them not all feel empty and the same. Keep on rocking!

please dont make event items limited time only, make sure there is a vendor in the watch or something that will sell these items for a very high price for people that miss out
Our intention is to make event items available across all future seasonal events.
The old "exploit" that you guys fixed that disallowed recovery of ingots really flattened the crafting system back into an old boring system. Really wish you'd make up for that somehow.
