In the early 2020 I was really enjoying the early works of Babish and Not another cooking show. They've gotten bigger and lost their magic. These days its you & acooknamedmatt that are on the top of my list.
I feel like notanothercookingshow is the same as it’s always been and pretty quality. Babish was always performative and very meh . This channel is super good, though
@@zeke4665 I really miss his older style of standing on the table and taking a pic. The music selection also has really changed. The way he cuts his shots. It also seems like he’s gone through all his core recipes and now he’s just finding random ones to do, or just chasing recipe trends with the likes of babish, weissman, etc. I notice his personality in these newer videos are almost like burnt out/panicked after rewatching his older stuff. I think he’s having a hard time pivoting and figure out his “thing” for the channel. Although I have really enjoyed his newer videos with special guests.
@@Homemade_Pho you could be right. I don’t think I was watching his old old stuff so to me it hasn’t been much different. It does feel like he has an Italian focus though maybe that’s his thing

I’ve been addicted to dan dan noodles lately. Look for Chinese ground sesame paste at the Asian market, i like it better than tahini.
