That's not true. You just counter the defenses, and avoid the ones you struggle with. Like I have Harsetti. So I have lots of zero built nobodies now whooping everyone. Lion Heart and Roana together still rips through the counter monkeys. And Ruele and Dorvus slaps with Leah or Fire Flan. There is a website you can even type in who the enemy has and it will tell you who is the best counters if you really need it.
thanks for also including PVE recommendation , i know epic 7 is meant for players who specialise in speed and PVP but i really like the PVE content more (though sometimes the devs really make the story needlessly and annoyingly hard)

I was thinking Landy since I don't have her but Tywin and Politis I also don't have which I would assume Tywin is a good choice for a defensive team. Ruele is the best of the characters here on Defense. Or Belian. But honestly...nothing is good on Arena Defense truly. A. Tywin is probably your best overall choice if you don't have him.

@kiro3779 That depends on your play style. He's still the guy for Cleave. If not, he's not that important to grab. It's hard for me to 100% feel confident on an answer to give you because 1. I don't cleave and 2. He is 1 of 2 units I don't own.

Well i have two a yuifine, one on lifesteal and other for destro but i didn't build her cuz i don't needs that. Aside from this two ml illynav would be nice damage and full tank, two zios nice dps and control, belian nice too tank and bruser, ddr fast and slow, SSV lifesteal and destro (i had 3 copies of her that i fled up and imprinted all 😅) straze for hunts and Rta one (Although he is garbage in rta

@ednay9993 Depends on what level of PvP you play at. If you play at a high level, 250 doesn't cut it. Most players though you'll probably be OK. Take what you want if you have a cool idea you wanna mess around with. It's not like you can't eventually get more Speed to use her later.

@pajianwei I like Vivian more but that's just me. I'm not super big on ML Haste right now and Vivian is just a personal favorite of mine. They do different things entirely so choose whichever you like most.
ML Ilynav deletes ML Haste from the game purely by existing. When she's not there, ml haste is still solid A I'd say. Issue is Aggro CC is used more and more. Vivian is definitely a pick if you lack meta dps
@skynet2581 Depends what you are trying to accomplish. I'd look at the ones in the top tiers for sure. A Tywin and Sea Phantom seem good but so do others like Abyssal Yufine, ML Landy, and CLilias for how useful they are in all game modes.

Bruiser: turn 2 player or "slow" player who let or not bothered by the opponent taking the first turn, because they had their team specifically tuned to deal with the opponent strategy (their opponent 'cleave' strategy). Bruiser also can be a reference to a character that inherently tanky but also can deal a lot of dmg
As usual, the developers give away a lot of crap, but they don't understand what a newbie feels, when he needs to get a dozen SUPER CRITICALLY IMPORTANT characters to play the game fully, but in fact, with a normal failure, won't get even one in the super greedy gacha.

As a result, I received only garbage and had to spin the story banner so that there was at least some kind of heal, because my best heal was Hazel. So I spent everything that was and was given, as a result I received sets that were not pumped up to +16 and 3 heroes Charlotte, Specter Tenebria (who cannot be made 60 lvl and pump skills until you complete the quest) and Tamarinne, and so far I have only been able to upgrade one character to 6 stars, show me a guide where with such uncluck I can achieve the best?

@zexionsaix9494 Lots of ways to punish barriers. Unbuffable Guts the whole kit. Modern Knights off more protection. Skill 1 was game defining at release but now every tank does it better. Skill 3 is laughable in how good it is at defending you team in 2024. There is a THREE STAR that is better than her... and it doesn't even have a specialty change. If you count Specialty Changes... that number is even higher. The character just offers very little against other Knights and she just generates zero tempo when that's all modern PvP is about now a days. Tl;dr: There's always a better character to pick in any situation.
@im_Tsu alright thanks, well I dont have her or anything but I just hear that ml 5 char are strong to have, the only ml5 knights I have rn are AYufine and Belian and looking at their kit Im not sure if they offer that much mitigation. For instance, Bride Senya has passive that protect back row and skill reset with AoE S3 pen which might change the tide of battle while Emp Ilynav passive really good against pen units and S3 gives indomitable. So at first I thought Fallen Ceci S3 which has nullifier is good enough to be a solid tank. I dont touch RTA yet as im not ready with only a small unit pool rn and dont know a lot of what unit does what lol. But just trying to have like a solid team comp and counter unit pick knowledge while building my unit for now. Is it fine tho to run like two knight in a team comp like for example ATywin which im trying to headhunt now and another mitigation tank. ATywin seems more like a control tank then ith S3 and passive cleanser which his passive. I prefer like a turtle playstyle. Dont confident enough in aggro playstyle which I believe is called "cleave"?

Agreed, the difficulty spike between Frastus boss fight all the way to Belian is so huge it's unbelievable. Episode 3 was a big struggle for me.

Tbh, ml haste is alright, but he fell off quite much. Not a meta break unit anymore. Vivian is insanely hard to build to be efficient.
go for ML Haste if you want a safe pick in rta, Vivian is more like a counter or later pick in rta but both are good character
