I think its Shameful that at one time teachers would chastise the kids in school for speaking French. Its a beautiful language and I love to hear it spoken. I also love Cajun music and Cajun food. I plan on moving to Louisiana. Merci Beaucoup.
Good music and great to hear Cajun French speaking people again when I was in school teachers would punish us if they caught us speaking French as if we should be ashamed of our heritage long live the Cajun
I heard this music in a German feature film many years ago, then forgot it until excerpts from this film were shown on television. Even after the film, I had no idea what the music was called. But I knew the game film was also in Louisiana, and that's the catchphrase I found the music by accident. I don't think every title from this genre is good, but this "Voyageur" is great.
The Savoy family is a pearl for Cajun music
Tres Belle musique , Jaime adore oublie❤❤❤
You Guys are fantastic
Long may we all two step! Merci beaucoup!
One of the best Cajun bands.
Bravo!**.
Saw a film made in 1990 about this family and where they lived and about the area food and lifestyle of them..it is amazing.
It must be such a great feeling to play such wonderful music with your own family. I would love that.

I remember those days when my sister started school they were teaching French I lost most of my French tongue.
All those folks were not born French in the excited states, they came from elsewhere.

Are they related to the Savoy-Doucet Cajun Band?
Of course, they were.
The fellow on the piano has as big feet as the oldman; that's why he's nae wearing shoes!
