I was there, and the audience (judging by the languages spoken while we were waiting to go in) seemed very diverse - but then it was International Beatle Week. There was lots of singing all the lyrics to every song and I was singing along too -it's not me and my companion singing in these clips! The only downside is that the bulk of the tickets are sold as packages by the Cavern Club. So, although I booked in February whilst still in China, we had seats in the Upper Circle. Many tribute bands from all over the world play in Liverpool, including an all-girl group from Japan. I can assure you that everyone joins in with the lyrics at that venue too.
looks like it is Leon Klaasse, doesn't it? their regular percussionist and, incidentally, pretty much the best drummer in the Netherlands. But what happend to Fred Gehring the Analogues' CFO?
@@LeondBop Thanks for the clarification. You're playing the London Paladium tonight, right? I should actually be there too, I hold tickets for the front row of the Royal Circle, but I have stomach problems that keep me near a toilet - sorry, too much information. Back to my original question: what happend to Fred Gehring the Analogues' CFO and drummer? Is he ill, too? Will he be on duty again at the shows in Hamburg and Berlin. I do have tickets for both concerts and will do my best to really be there this time.
I asked someone working at the merch booth at the Bordeaux (17 December 2023) gig and she confirmed that Fred was simply taking a break from that particular tour. I’m sure he’ll be back. As a founding member he’s integral to The Analogues. Having said that, his stand in was terrific. I’m hoping the band will return to France again in 2024.
Looking forward to seeing the Analogues in Bordeaux this December.
It must have been wonderful : for the same price, you had the luck to benefit the nice "harmonies" of your neighbours !!!!

What happened to the old drummer?
According to Facebook he had a back problem. I hope Fred comes back before they finish in December!!
Band member changes? Different drummer?

The drummer is Kees Schaper.
But thanks for the compliment anyway 😎
