China’s power demand is growing by over 600 terrawatt-hours per year. To put that in context, that’s more than the total power generation of Germany. And by the way, Germany’s GDP is $4 trillion per year.

It’s apps. It’s all about the apps that are replacing human labor. These apps need tremendous computing power from data centers. This is almost all of the growth in electricity demand.
