This is a great finding! Tatiana's speaking parts are absolutely great, her acting is very convincing. Her singing strongly reminds me of her Snow White though, but ok it's just a small part. Hope to be able to listen to the whole dub someday. Thanks for sharing this !!
I absolutely LOVED her speaking parts here, she sounds so smooth and adorable^^ Her acting really seems wonderful, she sounds more desperate here than Alice Babs, IMO! To me, her singing here sounds very different from her Snow White, but it's really a shame that it's just a small scene>-< In fact, I think she sounds very similar to the vinyl version, she's spectacular there

Thank you so much for sharing this treasure! I really hope one day the rest of this dub will surface, she's is so lovely as Cinderella. The other dubs I'm really dying to hear are the 1959 Swedish Sleeping Beauty, 1959 Hungarian Sleeping Beauty and 1937 Czech and Brazilian Portuguese Snow White. I hope they'll all be uncovered one day
Tatiana sounds so charming as Cinderella, I would love to hear her singing "A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes"! Her performance on vinyl is wonderful

@@disneiya Yeah, I guess for the last two I meant I wish people would share them 🙁. I’m curious if any Swedes can tell us how the language sounds in this clip. I heard that this movie was redubbed because the Swedish used was “too outdated and old fashioned”.

Whereas some of the other redubs were made for other reasons. I’m not sure why the Italian and Dutch redubs were made. Spanish was redubbed because of copyright reasons after the original voice of Cinderella wanted royalties from the home media sales. French was redubbed because the mice were almost unintelligible. But it’s such a shame to me because I really adore the original French singer of Cinderella. I also think the original Czech Cinderella is much better than the redub. 🥺
@ I'm not sure, but maybe the Dutch redubbing could have happened due to the language change, this also happened with the Dutch dubbing of Sleeping Beauty! I also love the Czech 1970 version of Cinderella❤ And it's really a shame they changed:/
OMG thank you so much for sharing this ! Well I understand why they redubbed this (not always well synchronized, etc...) but Tatjana Angelini on Cinderella is a pure wonder : she has a beautiful ethereal mature wise speaking voice (her acting is better than Alice Babs IMO), and her singing voice is beautiful (reminds me of Lizette Pålsson). What is cool also is that I don't hear her Snow-White, I hear Cinderella. Well done !
WHAT THE- This is one of those dubs people basically gave up on, and after decades of nothing it turns out it's not completely lost!? I loved hearing Tatiana on Cinderella, even better than on the vinyl... what's special about her is that she IS Cinderella just as much as she IS Snow White, she somehow manages to deftly distinguish between the two characters! Her acting and singing truly bring Cindy to life, if only we had more scenes with her I'd consider her one of my favs!
Hahahaha YES, finally something from this version came to light XD I love Tatiana's performances on the vinyl version, and I think she sounds quite similar here! I just LOVED her speaking voice here, she sounds so mature, more serious, unlike her sweet and childish Snow White^^ And I noticed that too, she changes the way to interpret both characters, she is PERFECT, her performance here is wonderful, even though it's a small scene! She is certainly an adorable Cinderella ❤ I really hope the full dub appears for us ^-^
I love Cinderella voice but I don’t understand why they had to get rid of it they could have kept it on in the archives but over all I love how her voice is soft ❤
Late reply, but I know why Cinderella was redubbed. According to my friend Oskar Isaksson who does research on Swedish dubs. Åke Holm had stated that famous names where required in the roles and being Tatiana was unknown to the general public, Åke thought it was bad for pr that someone unknown voiced Cinderella. As a result they made a hideously awful Swedish redub where they misscasted a 43 year old celebratie as Cinderella. Ironicly a lot of the actors in the 1950 dub where famous at the time of the dubbing, Benkt-Åke Benktsson (The King) for example was a well known Pilsnerfilmsactor and director and Naima Wifstrand (Stepmother) was famous to as she appeared in various early Ingmar Bergman movies.
@@Wenndy702 Oskar Isaksson told me. Åke Holm had stated that known names should play the main role and that is the reason why Cinderella was unfourtnatly redubbed.
The clip is most likely from the VHS Disney’s greatest dog stars with Swedish dub. This scene shown exist on that vhs with the original dub with Tatiana. Do you think your friend would mind sharing a digital copy of that vhs?
2 VHS tapes were released in the 80’s. Disney’s Greatest Villains and one about Disney dogs. I would’ve thought that they would’ve used the 1967 dub on those tapes, but they didn’t.
Here I am with another comment LOL I'm looking for the French 1950 dub of Cinderella, since the link I had isn't working anymore. If you still have it, would you mind sharing it with me?
Certainly so grown up since her Snow White, she fits Cinderella so beautifully without sounding much like her snow at all!
I really love it when someone finds a fragment of an old dub 😍
I love Tatiana's voice, it's so beautiful
