Does this work with daikin split units ? I can't seem to set it up

This unit seems to have been clearanced out and OPEN BOX for $10. When I purchased mine earlier today at Wally World, it was clearnaced to $24 from $29. Based on wasting 2 hours ATTEMPTING to set mine up and reading countless other reviews, it will likely be RETURNED to Wally world UNLESS this video helps. No, I have not yet watched with current model in hand. I if have GOOD luck, I will post results here. I have GREAT HOPE for this video, because instrutions (which I rarely NEED to read are seriously lacking in the box and on line. Regardless, thanks for takign the time to post this video here. I certainly cannot hurt! [WIFI and bluetooth connection is currently the issue.]

Follow the setup instructions. You keep ignoring them and clicking I understand. Set your temp, fan speed and mode "on the remote control" not on the ac control panel. How can the unit learn the remote commands if you never teach it the commands?

He did it correctly, it only supports fan speed, mode, temp on controllers without screens. Controllers with screens only supports on/off.
