This was an amazing tutorial! I’ve owned my original Drumbrute since it first came out, and always had problems “memorizing” the functionality of the unit. This caused me to shelf it for months at a time. This tutorial really helped me to understand the capabilities of my drum machine, and bring the fun back into using it. Thank you!
Picked up a Drumbrute Impact a few weeks ago. Love how this doubles as a tutorial for the Impact as well since its basically the same machine....though I'm now craving the few extra sounds and filter....getting G.A.S.'d up like now i want the OG Drumbrute too hahaha. Thank you for the great work. I also learned everything about my Korg Minilogue from your channel as well. Hope as i get more gear I'll find more of these quality tutorials.
I got my Minilogue XD last Friday, and watched your tutorial for that and learned so much! My Drumbrute Impact came yesterday, and I'm SO glad it's you who's going to be teaching me to use it! Hell yeah, you're awesome man!
Your videos are amazing even when they are about devices I don't have. One cool feature about your way of communicating is that in general you sound very formal, and sometimes then you say something like "I played like shit" and I think it's awesome. It's like you add some "swing" to the speech
Great tutorial thank you! Would appreciate if you can do a deep dive video of the Drumbrute Impact as this original version is discontinued and also show how to connect and sync clock with microfreak and td-3 and/or other synths.
I'm actually watching this video since there's no advanced tutorial for the Drumbrute Impact. The Impact is essentially the same machine, just with a few less sounds. Operates almost exactly the same, so this video def helps.
With this box, can I create patterns, assign them to the 16 pads and let them loop until I tap the next pad and that next pad plays without a break in the drumming? I want to be able to change the drumming up a bit. Also can I have topical catagories of banks such as a Rock bank of the 16 pads, a Swing bank, a Waltz Bank, so on. That would give me many patterns for variety to play to. Most drum machines only give you a couple versions of each music catagory. Also, is there a foot switch option for tossing in fills and can those be something I create. I want to use this just as something to accompany me, old style instrumental organist guy here.

Fantastic work. I have had a drumbrute for 2 years and I just learned more in an hour than the last 2 years
That's great !!!! Thanks for the comment :)
Thanks for this. The only thorough guide on TH-cam!
A very UNDERRATED drum machine ! Thanks for the video :)
I was able to understand things that were difficult to understand with just the manual. Thank you with all the love from Japan!🎉🎉🎉

If I find a really cheap impact, sure why not. Thanks for the comment.

Thanks for the great video. Really helped me a lot to get started with my drumbrute.
Could you please elaborate a bit on how to play triplets!?
You're awesome thanks !
Fantastic tutorial. How can I use Clock Out and Clock In with modular eurorack? Does it have any translation to CV control?
Great video, thank you! Are you doing all your videos just by reading the manual?

Love your vids! so clear explanation thanks for that! Is it the same for the Drumbrute Impact version though? (I mean most of it) thanks in advance!
Can you assign snare to multiple banks to build up a fat sound?
Can you do 3/4 time? Thanks
Do you also teach drone pilot institute?
Nope. Maybe is AI using my voice :S
Only thing I wish you mentioned that you didn't is clock syncing/midi connectivity.
