    You asked what I was doing....I'm crocheting a baby blanket for my nephews baby girl! It's been awhile since I've crocheted so there were multiple pulling out yarn but so relaxing listening and watching you journal. Thanks for another inspiring video!!! I get what you are saying about learning Japanese, it's tough. I've played around with trying to learn how to write and read but can only get so far and then I quit and when I get back to it I have to relearn everything! Good luck.

    Journal with Dolly does a bit of journalling...she uses so many vibrant colours too.
    EmilouArts uses a vintage journal on occasion.
    This was so relaxing, what a beautiful journal.
    I had all of my journals out on my bed..enjoying the first day of school holidays.☕️

    Johanna Clough and Emilou Arts that were already mentioned are my favorites - Johanna's junk journaling is exactly what you're talking about and Emilou Arts does colorful journaling with stickers and some doodling from time to time.

    While watching you I am drawing the items on my shopping list, just for fun. No allergies here. It's still winter, nothing is blooming.

    I love watching your videos :)! I'm actually crocheting a trivet as you talk. I'm using macrame cord for the first and last time. It's very stiff cording and taking a long time! LOL Have a great day!

    lovely to see some slow journaling videos :) fun times. about reading/speaking Japanese... I don't think it's easy for everyone to learn a new language even if you live abroad... and definitely some languages are more complicated than others!

    I love how you arrange and combine elements on your pages 🥰. Thank you so much for the video!
    I’m like you - I don’t have other crafty projects. Just journaling. Oh, I do color in my coloring books. Mandalas and such where there isn’t a lot of thought required. Very relaxing.

    I love these chatty "journal with me" videos of yours! 😍 When it comes to channel recommendations, I personally really like "NeverHopeless by Elizabeth". She's got long journaling session videos where she chat, and her spreads are really colourful. She's not directly in a junk journal, but she uses a lot of ephemera from her daily life. I don't know if she'd be to your liking, but she might be worth checking out? 🥰

    I so enjoy watching you journal 🌼 I often wonder about the stories of those objects too. I recently saw a single shoe next to the sidewalk… I mean is someone just walking around with just one shoe? 🌟 As for colorful junk journalers I have been enjoying ihanna here on TH-cam. She definitely has a flip through of her gorgeous summer junk journal, I’m not sure about jwm though 🌼

    I'm supposed to be journaling along with you, but I'm just watching you work in your JJ. I love all the tip-ins. Lately, I've noticed I'm "watching" more than "doing"....it could be laziness. I'm not sure. Hugs Mits.

    I love watching you videos because you draw and watercolor in your journal. I wanted to do the same but couldnt find the courage to do so.
    Can you give me tips on what should I draw? You draw from your memory, i cannot trust my memory 😂
    I am 3 months behind in my journal now 😭

    • @MyLifeMits
      @MyLifeMits  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Draw anything and everything you want to! No pressure, it has to be fun or you won't continue doing so.. I should bring out my older journals, the drawings were very simple and not that great..(My drawings still aren't that great), but we all start somewhere. Whats in front of you right now? is it a coffee mug, a water bottle, a box of tissues, or maybe it's your journal. It is ok if the drawing is simple and just lines, feel great about yourself that you started, (instead of just leaving the page blank). If you feel like the drawing is lacking in something, splash on a bit of watercolor (not too much), just a small amount and you will see your drawing transform. It's also OK if the drawing is the same thing everyday. There are no rules to your journal; its YOUR journal... Don't forget to pat yourself on the back for starting.. you can do it!
