I absolutely love this album and can't get enough of it. Listening to it from start to finish on a good pair of headphones is the way to extract the most out of this "glorious" music from Leprous. Sometimes I wonder if people only listen to music in their car on the way home from work, then give reviews or opinions when they can't even hear everything that's going on in the music. Do yourself a favor and take the time to give this music the attention it deserves because, if you do, you will be rewarded greatly. Cheers!

Sunken ship is such a banger, for loss of better words. I'm sure the other songs will grow on me as well. Just having had one or two listens since the release this night, the album does seem different, again, from their previous albums.

Listened to this album numerous times since it came out and I love it. Like they returned to some heavier moments. I saw 6 of the songs live and it was awesome. Very moving set. They brought in someone for keyboards so Einar and the guys could concentrate more on their instruments. I agree and miss the cello.

Hhm, this was one of the most anticipated releases for me. Ill be honest in streamlining the album and trying to recapture some of the guitar focused work off the early albums it lost the more sombre and emotive peaks of Pitfalls and Aphelion, which is what made those albums so special. Overall while technically strong it's not as dynamic and cohesive. Still a much better album than most acts could release.

Hi! I'd like to recommend you "Red Vector - Летопись Страны Советов" (2024). It is Russian progressive rock / progressive metal concept album about the life and death of USSR, created by a "zero-musician band" with the help of neural networks. You can find it on streaming platforms and TH-cam.
