You are such an inspiration! I live in a 55+ community and have a table garden on my patio with romaine, and red romaine and onions started from scraps. I got some 15 and 20 gallon grow pots and put in tomatoes and squash, and planted cucumbers in leftover patio tomato pots. Along my house I have sunflowers, carrots and more tomatoes and other kinds of flowers. Many of us have bird feeders, hummingbird feeders and bird baths and I am so glad for your ideas and always look forward to your tours. Yesterday I set up a second bird bath on a big square post of lumber that was going to be thrown away by our maintenance guy, using a $3 veggie and dip tray I picked up at Target. I am looking at solar fountains, but for now the birdies all like perching on the stones i have in my baths and then taking a good splash session. For me the stay at home situation really is tolerable because of the gardening.
I just wanted to be the 100th comment. 🥳 Thanks for the videos Robbie and Gary. I’m enjoying binge watching them as I organize my indoor “garden”. I wish you and your family the best. 😍

Robbie and Gary Gardening Easy Hi Robbie,Nicole here from north central Washington ! I’m happy 😃 to know you read my message . I truly meant what I said!!!
So nice of you! It make now look the very best, as the birds do love chewing up some of the greens in the garden, but that is their payment for keeping the insects down for me, Thanks so much, take care, Robbie

That is what we are trying to do, get many whom are not gardening to start gardening and make it EASY and FUN. So funny, My daughter is growing so much zucchini that she is running around her neighborhood giving away zucchini plants this year, later she will be giving away zucchini, Thanks, Robbie
I'm excited too! Yes I must be crazy too 😄🌺😊💕 made 5 tote on chair garden, then saw your tower tote garden and ran out and made one too. BUT one tower was not enough 😄 Lowe's has totes on sale for $5.49! So got another one. Just planted it up. Now to add a couple of chairs to sit in. Thank you so much 💕 Pat from southern Indiana With lots of love.
So do I, so much more control of plants in a tote to grow food. Check out the new video of the Chairs I put up today, the easiest garden EVER! No Joke, Thanks so much, take care, Robbie
"Got a wild side?? Spice it up a notch like Robbie.........Live on the edge and eat what you grow!!" Beautiful and lush! Glad you share your knowledge with us. I just hope you seriously know how much you are truly appreciated! Much Love and God bless.
Ms R could you do a video on growing potatoes in containers? Also why don't you grow greenbeans? Here in North Texas was 111 yesterday. Hot Hot Hot! We only go out to Walmart Senior pick up. People here are crazy not wearing masks...no social distancing & of course our Numbers have spiked! Your videos are what keep me sane. We have 3 hummers now. A big male, ruby throated hummer, an all green one, female? and a baby. Its body is like 1" long. My container gardening is slowly growing with radishes, green beans (Bush) & butternut squash. My lettuce is anemic. I started it under a grow light. I wish you could send your seeds to us who would like them...like your tomititoes & eggplant! Keep on growning! We Love Out Here in No Mans Land!
Hi Robbie, I always love your garden tours. Love seeing how beautiful your garden is, and how you work with nature😊🐦🦜🐛🦋🐝. We're always Learning from you, sending OUR (family) love from PHILIPPINES❤❤ Malabar spinach is my favorite and I have grown a lot of it in smaller containers coz its all I can afford now😁 inspired by you🥰 to plant more in containers, we are on the 2nd floor and no access to soil but I have a not so big terrace. Thank you I found your channel.
Beautiful! I have to smile when you looked at that big zucchini and sighed lol. It's like me right now bc I am overun with swiss chard. But! Now I dehydrate it daily to save for winter and I feel alot more excited seeing it! You can do the same with zucchini. 😉
Robbie, I have ordered my 1st solar fountain and I'm really looking forward to putting it in the garden. I was laying in bed and like you I got an Idea. I collect bird houses and I think I going to mount the solar panel on top of a bird house. I also collect hummingbirds.
Ruth Wood Hi there, I am also hooked on the birds and want to add more in my garden for them. Thank you Robbie for giving us the interest and ambition to care for the birds and I know how to bring them into my garden! I love ❤️ and can’t wait to design and create a beautiful garden for me , the birds and pollinators !!!
I see those cinder blocks with a board on top of a couple to make long benches along your wall of totes. Instantly elevated. I found that a piece of copper pipe will keep your fountains fairly algae free. Thank you for the fun and informative videos.
Poor Kitty! I’m so glad she’s ok!! We have big red-tail hawks too here in MD and we have an Italian Greyhound...When he was a pup he was very small and I wouldn’t allow him outside unless we were with him or our other big dogs because those hawks went after everything it seemed like. I’m growing some purple tree collard cuttings I bought off of Etsy...after being inspired by you!!
I like my garden a bit wild and full of nature, plus I have so many different gardens going on here. Love trying different things, and now I think I love my new garden the best "Chairest Garden", so easy and all in one spot for easy maintenance. I think I got this energy from growing so much real live food, thanks so much, take care, Robbie
Yes, it is the damp weather, trimming the leaves helps a little, as the weather changes and gets dryer, the leaves will be fine, THANKS So MUCH, Robbie
Would be cool if you tried an upside down potted tomato plant In a tote on the top of the wall see how well it grows downward. I watched someone re-plant some in bottoms of a pots. Some grew down and some curled up☺️
No kidding, I am with you, the baby hawks are the worst, as they are still learning what is food they can carry...take care, keep those cats as safe as you can, Robbie
I bought black pepper corn seeds... and got some mystery pepper plant that looks similar. I thought it was a Black Cobra Pepper, which is not so much grown for its taste... i think more ornamental, but don't know much of those. But... my chiles... that look like yours... and all of a sudden turned RED! so i think i have a Red Thai Chili plant. I reordered Piper Nigrim seeds again (peppercorn plant seeds) and received them correctly. I am looking forward to trying to grow my own black pepper. Robbie and Gary.... you inspire me to try to grow just about anything i fancy. Thank you for sharing with us.
You should grow your own potatoes and grow them in a big tote. You could also grow mountain yams and elephant yams, I hear those two yams are abundant when it comes to harvesting food.
Hi Robby! Beautiful garden! Please help! How can I kill off invasive perennial vine roots under landscape rocks without moving all the rocks? Thank you!
Once roots take hold, all you can do is keep the top of the green growth down, in hopes the roots will die back, I think you need a Tote container garden....Check out the new garden I am building, might be worth a try for now. Thanks so much, take care, Robbie th-cam.com/video/-g61ZzWZ-Wg/w-d-xo.html
Hi robbie, 🤔 wondering if Swiss chard is a perennial because it came up from last yr, now it’s going to seed. So, I hope I can pick the seeds for next yr. how in the world your peppers gotten big and lots of? Take care of kitty. Hugs
What would you plant in June/July? I know here (Alabama) we do collards/turnips/mustard greens. Do you know of any other things that grow well in the late gardens? Thank you. Rose
That can be SO COOL, as if that ends up cantaloupe, those seeds were packed for 1976 Cantaloupe/iroquois variety, Northrup King seeds. Big tomatoes will be great! THANKS, Robbie
Hi im at my grandmas house right now shes growing tomatoes and marigolds to keep the deer away we brought out my sprouting garden beens and sunflowers but guest what! My potatoes are blooming so now they'll be done soon
I had a scare with a hawk today also, I was watching my ducks and they went and got in some brush and they were all looking up toward the sky my little 4 pound Chihuahua was out in the middle of the yard barking and there was a hawk in the sky. When I stood up he took off I don’t believe he knew I was there and thought my little dog was a easy target
Hey robbie.i got my chocolate spearmint today I am filled cause now I can try your chocolate tea. I am trying to grow toms.different peppers I got peppers .our temps are up in high 90's low 70' s
Hi Robbie and Gary, I love your gardens so much and talk about you so much. So much so that my family knows about you and your gardens even though they have never watched your videos. You have inspired me and I am growing some vegetables in 18 gallon totes/bins and 5 gallon buckets. Is there an email address if someone needs to reach out to you through. May God bless you and the plants you have been growing so successfully.
My 2 solar fountain have arrived and now I’m waiting for my bird bath to come. Have you ever had the flower end rot on your tomatoes. What shall I do about it staying organic.
🇬🇧 Putting well crushed egg shell under tomatoes when planting them is said to be good for blossom end rot. It supplies extra calcium. I've tried it this year so hope it works. My Moneymaker toms certainly look really green and healthy but toms are still green. Good luck.
I have not really thought of selling things yet, with everything going on, like going to the post office and stuff, maybe later in the year once the weather cools down, Thanks so much, take care, Robbie
The hawks love the tall pine trees. We don’t need to remove trees. Trees help to cool the planet and make and clean the air. Very disturbing how humans do not understand the life giving critical value of trees and think nothing of cutting them down, removing all vegetation (often for reasonable reasons like wildfire suppression) from the land. The food forest permaculture type garden I believe is better for the environment overall and works with and benefits nature which in turn will work for and benefit us.
Goliaths I think are large beefsteak type. Cobra is a black pepper ...? Ornamental. I’m no expert but looks like ur cucs ( like mine) have been attacked by spider mites...a good spray of spinosad and they are covering back to a lush green. Btw what is the flavor profile on Brad’s Atomic toms ( in ur opinion)
I think you might be right on the tomatoes. Cobra is edible, but HOT. The cucumbers are having an issue with the weather, no spider-mites on them right now. The Brads are great, very sweet, Gary loves them, not real acidity to the flavor. Thanks so much, take care, Robbie

I think MI Gradener had this quote:
Teach a man to fish and he eats for life.
Teach a woman to grow and the whole neighborhood eats zucchini.

Amazing garden! Love it!
