If I recall correctly if you have an infinite loop IRL you can demonstrate it once and declare you're doing the same loop X amount of times. But yes your opponent can request you play it out, but that wouldn't be in their best interest considering time is a factor in IRL
I was wondering if I could bounce a frog list off you for some ideas. It’s pretty consistent just has minor issues with gorz, ab zero, dyna/vanity’s fiend
I'm happy to take a look! I'm be no means a frog expert, I'm kind of the wonky stuff/alt win guy. If you haven't I'd join the Edison Format Discord linked in the description where there's a frog channel for discussions just like this. Either way drop it here too, it helps the algorithm find my video!
Excellent question! My initial response was yes it just takes more steps because you aren't making a Gottoms and looping Urbellum like usual. You have one fewer monster zone available. You'd be looping only Gottoms which would require you to do the infinite draw loop more times. The most efficient way to do it is probably to draw loop until you hit plague for every single Gottoms. This is actually not exactly how it has to go down though! I'm used to needing 3 monster zones for the draw loop. Fishborg + Swap + Exodius. If you really want to have Stardust AND Gottoms loop (with the needed Substitoad) you can do the synchro loop with only 2 monsters zones. The board would be Sub + Stardust + Gottoms and the 2 zones would be Fishborg summon Exodius. Then you sac the Fishborg for Swap, bounce the Exodius, and then make Brio -> Urbellum and do the Gottoms loop as normal! TLDR; Yes! you can do the Gottoms loop and play through Herald of Orange Light!
@@Frogslicer damnn, awesome thanks for the detailed reply. I've actually tried adjusting the deck to be a true ftk which is possible but the deck is much less consistent. You probably already looked into it but the key thing is playing bubbleman package ( e hero bubbleman, bubble illusion and hero mask) which allows you to play iron wall on your 1st turn
@@matijakrsilovic7791 I had a comment on another video that was the most impressive true ftk alternative to my list. He used double summon and witch doctor of sparta instead of plague and imperial iron wall.
Excellent question! Once you've gone infinite yes you can do either. It does make more sense to use the Urbellum because you'd have to make an Urbellum as your lvl 7 Earth non-tuner for Gottoms anyway so you might as well just keep the Gottoms out and spam Urbellums. It uses 1 fewer card of card advantage which can be recovered with the infinite draw loop but the fewer times you have to do that the better. You'd also need to use an extra monster zone to keep Plaguespreader out of the grave or repeat the infinite draw loop for every time you inevitably have to Exodius Plaguespreader back into your deck. Unless you use another Earth non-tuner, Urbellum is necessary to summon Gottoms in the first place and the more efficient monster to tribute when it comes to the number of steps required to hand loop your opponent.
I'm going to an in person tournament in a week, I'm wondering what the contrast will be. My feeling right now is either are going to be really draining haha.
Once you go infinite, yes. It's probably also possible turn one without going infinite but you wouldn't want to play upstarts and it'd be some degree less consistent. If you wanted to shoot for lethal after you've gone infinite with imperial iron wall, there are a handful of options. I'd consider mass driver the worst of all of them
Nice. Was waiting for this one.
You asking for it was definitely motivation to get it out there!

Is there a way to go infinite while keeping stardust on the board for protection from for example herald of orange light?
Excellent question!

@@Frogslicer seems interesting
Is the Urbellum loop even needed? You could just make Gottoms every time and tribute itself to loop a card from the hand every time, right?

@@Frogslicer yeah I noticed afterwards. I will pm you on discord to ask a little question tho :P
Go get them next RBET 🙏
Also love the deck, but I immagine that playing it online must be very draining

Cant you just play mass driver and just loop fishborg?
