Ugh, thank you for this!!! I've been really struggling with the science portion of my 7th grader's year. Glad I found this curriculum only 2 weeks in so we can switch. I've been putting together science on my own and it's just tooooooo exhausting. I know these videos must be so much work. I truly appreciate you!
I’m using this science with my 5th and 6th grader this year! I had a fair amount of difficulty getting the online portion going. What a headache! But I think I have it all set up now.
Have you found a good way to organize a plan for the kiddos? I like to have a quarterly idea of what we'll cover so I can get them working on planners by week.
Planning in general for them? I’ve shared that in my planner and update videos. Also on IG. They use paper planner plus google classroom. I also don’t detail plan too far in advance, flexibility is a priority for me and o don’t like to box myself in.
Yes, all of it is available through your online access. Please check out my updated video, that I described in the description box and edited title. This video provides a view of the actual teacher interface after Savvas fixed my login settings, making it much easier to navigate. I have read reviews that there is not an answer key available to grade the questions in the student book. Is that accurate or are the answers in the interactive portion of the teacher bundle? Appreciate your review!
It’s in the teacher guide, my view was not the full teacher version in this video (noted in the description box). Tech support fixed it for me and I made an updated video on it. Highly recommend you watch the update instead, here is the link. th-cam.com/video/_Faud7hkMOU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=amhq7hMeQnVTij9K
Make sure to watch this update video and a bit of tutorial first. I always aim to be transparent of the parent involvement and prep. Also answer a lot of FAQs on this update with a new level too, but relevant to older levels. th-cam.com/video/_Faud7hkMOU/w-d-xo.html
Thank you so much for this video! I was wondering do we need a teacher's manual with this set? Or will we just need the student's book, and online access?
All your teacher resources are in the online platform, that’s how the homeschool bundle is sold. Just keep in my mind, there’s a learning curve to the online platform.
Yes and the year is school year, so it goes through the end of the following school year after you activate it (may give you a bit extra time, depending when you activate it). You can contact Savvas to extend your online access , they will quote you the individual price for your chosen program if you decide you need more time.
Super intrigued!! And why do you have to call me out like that… Talking about “open and go”curricula 😂🤣🤣 that is me alllll dayyyy But so far, we are liking my perspectives English for my 10th grader and sixth grader. Definitely took some time to get adjusted - and we don’t do everything in there because we of course are eclectic as well. But I feel like they are enjoying the different readings and practicing their analytical skills. My sixth grader is super literal, and this is stretching her in a good way. So of course, THANK YOUUUU for all of your wonderful reviews!
Lol I mean …I did remove my rant about open and go 😂 I’m so glad they’re enjoying it and working for them. Bella is super literal as well and to my surprise, she’s really taking on to it and really enjoys how concepts are explained and practiced.

I understand that and thank you so much for acknowledging my efforts. Means a lot. Thank you for your presence ♥️

Is there a teacher guide included online? Like something with the activity and test answers?

Question: Can you purchase the bundle but wait to activate your one-year digital component until your ready to start the school year?
This looks like a great science resource.
Really has some pretty rad components.
Are there recommended kits for this?
Not specifically no. The labs are built into the course or you can add lab kits if you like.
You mentioned that the access is for 1 year…. What if we take more than a year to complete everything? That’s my concern with this.
