Alice cooper was president of the hollywood vampires in the 70s, keith moon was vice president, other members ringo starr and harry Nilsson. All i can say is wow. Most are dead or quit 🍸 drinking. Im pretty sure john lennon was an honorary member during his yoko-less lost weekend. 🤔

All this recent Alice Cooper stuff is nice, but it doesn't convey the shock value he and wonderful guitar band delivered in the early 1970's. It's not his fault. Times and shock threshold change. But, man oh man, did he cause controversy way back then.

@@iltis1985 Manson is the biggest disappointment in modern rock history. I'll never deny the impact of his early albums and his live performances were among some of the most interesting displays of shock rock but how long has it been since he's done anything memorable? Ten? Fifteen years? And my God, his voice is shot and he let himself go, both physically and mentally. At least we still have Alice, who looks and sounds incredible after decades of abuse. I'm not going to say his recent work holds a candle to the 70's, 80's or even 90's material but that's a high standard for any band to live up to.

It was his fault that he essentially fired his original band/ saw them twice/ never the same afterwards and I give him due credit as an innovator !!!###

Yes he did! And it was perfect timing, rock n roll needs a bit of outrage now and again to keep us awake!
