That's because the dev really did their job to optimize the game bro, i have very low end pc, and day 1 release the game is barely playable with everything lowest (about 5-10 fps with holy cringe stutter), i even need to tweak the game engine files, but now at patch 1.2 i can delete all the tweaked game files and revert to default, and at mixed lowest setting it is playable at 60fps, and yeah no stuttering even with old ssd.
Like, wth was kuro thinking? I know that gacha players are generally casuals that will complain that their 1650ti can't run 120 fps, but locking it to 60 on some gpus is just a disappointment for people that was waiting so much for 120 fps
for me the factors that is locking my pc from gettting that 120 fps was the 6 Core AMD cpu (5600g) well it runs just like what pc with a 4060 performs back them. so they shouldnt be locking amd 6 cores cpu from getting this setting
They actually had plans to launch it with 120fps support for capable hardware but eventually encountered some issues during the CBT2 phase, which is why they had to remove it for some time before fixing it and thus eventually releasing the fixed game version with 1.2. So yea, all good now!

try changing both and make sure to edit the file outside of C drive because the game will make the file "read only" while its on the C drive other than on the user's folders and sub folders like My documents/desktop/music/video etc.

I had the 120fps option in game but it locked at 60fps. What fixed it for me is changing my own computers frame rate to 120 in settings -> system -> display -> advanced display.

make sure to apply it. and if its on drive C. it doesnt allow the file to get edited sometimes so you will have to move the db file on your desktop > change to 120fps > hit apply and save > then move it back to the original folder

But I installed MSI afterburner and rivaturner and it showed more then 60 fps and 120fps on the menus, I think my pc can only reach between 80 to 90 fps on lowest settings. my laptop refresh rate is only 60 hz will i sense any difference even though i struggle to achieve 60 FPS ( average 40-50 FPS) and my gpu is rtx 2050
sadly probably not. you can enable tripple buffering via nvidia control panel to make it smoother to the eyes

What happens if I set 165 fps?

move the LocalStorage.db file to your desktop before editing it > once you save the edit > move it back to its original location

Am I supposed to be able to change the settings to 120? it do show I have 120 fps but I cant change the setting to 120 from 60 fps
when you change the setting this way. your ingame setting will say its 60 but in actuality its rendering at higher fps
