Hey man, really good info but I’ve found that many people have their WuWa game directory in some of the read-only constituent paths on the C: Drive like ‘Program Files’ which is most definitely causing the mass read-only errors here. (this overrides the setting you put on localstorage.db itself; even if you look into properties and ‘read-only’ is unchecked for the local storage file, if it is in your program files folder, which most of the time it is, it is still considered a read-only database). This is likely causing a lot of people problems so I suggest putting it in your pinned too. Really good video.
I don't think you would get banned for this. All it is, is just a FPS boost, ur not hacking the game to give you more of the currency or anything like that, just a nice performance boost

my cpu was unsupported by the update so i just tried this. instead of ''game quality settings'' right under it theres something called ''custom frame rate'' change it to 120 and save and there you go. it worked flawlessly for me. its so dumb that this just works and they dont allow it just because they decided that ryzen 5 cpu's didnt deserve it. what even lmao

The most donkey thing about this is that the minimum requirement is the r7 1700x and I have the r5 7500f which is like 2-3x better in performance but 'is not supported' like why
@@pepsiguardiola6006 absolutely why. i assume more cpu and gpu's will be supported in the future but its unnecessary to wait when it already works perfectly fine, and theres nothing stopping it from happening except from an in game menu, which you can override by changing 1 number in a file

Thank you so much! 60 locked games are so jank and exhausting to play. This game looks pretty good @ 4k 120fps. even makes the 4090 dip over 70% usage in battles at night.
after 1.2 update this dosnt work , FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK (i have RTX2060)
Ye it doesn't work anymore. It works for a few second when loading, but once the 2 Rovers shows up, It will go black screen then it forces back to 60fps.
to do it again you need to delete all the files in the localstorage folder (it seems they changed the structure of the database with the update), load the game, configure everything again (even redownloading voice packs), close the game then do this method again but the custom framerate value is now set in a different way (if you cant hit apply, press enter and delete the change of line, then apply), modify the value and save.

delete the files inside the folder, run the game so it makes a new one and modify the value again, but this time it spears different.
I figured out that you can only do this once, and once you undo the cap (by whatever means) you will not be capable of redoing this process. So keep in mind that you should be more careful than I was when you change your resolution.

Thanks for the concern! From my own experience I genuinely believe they won't ban for this :) if it is the case, then I will be honest and let everyone know so if anything I'll be the test subject if they wanna ban anyone cause I don't mind
Thank you very much. The game has become much smoother. The game is still CPU bottlenecked, but better. And outside the city, stable 120 fps on rtx 3060 + ryzen 5500.
Glad it worked! There is definitely a bottleneck because my GPU isn't being utilised fully as well

Hmm, every time I log in to the game after changing the fps, it goes back to 60 in the DB file, and ingame settings turns it down to 30 FPS. Im saving the DB file, verify it before login to the game bu it resets ?
set a "only read" settings for a file, mb it can fix that

make sure to open db browser as administrator, change the fps, and then click apply and save when you close it

it was 120 in beta but they said there are technical problems with how game runs in 120. they said it will be added in the future when fixed.

For those having problems after 1.2 update. All you have to do is delete all files in Localstorage > Open game (the game will automatically download files) > open the game and proceed until you get to openworld > Close the game > now repeat the process but this time there is a tab for Framerate, just edit it > run the game
Take note! sometimes you cant edit the value it says you cant change value in read only file, all you have to do is run the DBbrowser as Administrator
In addition, sometimes even its already 120fps and still laggy, you have to turn of the ingame vsync. just like what happens to me (RX580)
yo on 1.3 now gamequalitysettings isnt an option anymore now its fpslockpreset or some shi like that, i've tried all numbers from 1 to 3 and its still capped to 60 any idea?
in the settings i also saw camera shake intensity, would turning the value from 0.5 (low) to 0 give me no camera shake?
I'm fairly certain it does. And if it doesn't just record or make screenshots of the settings you had it before and then you can always reset it if it doesn't

You forgot to mention that you have to not change graphic setting so fps wont cap on 60 again
What if I type a different value like 240? or somehow make it truly unlocked.

It's still working. If you close your game and check the localstorage.db file, does it say your fps is set to 120? Also make sure its localstorage.db not localstorage2.db as these look very similar.
If it says 120 then are you getting any numbers above 60 fps like 61? Try lowering your settings to lowest to confirm it's not a hardware limitation

I did it, I have 3060ti 12400f and it feels laggy anyway idk why, Im pretty sure my gpu would be able to run the game well :s
It used to work for me but now it tells me that this database already exists and when I press replace me it comes out as if it were empty

The fps got uncapped for me when I went to some weird area.
I've got up to 200-300 fps spikes but I stay at +130 fps usually

i still dont get why so many pc games cap their fps they should just make a warning if they didnt espacilly did it for this much fps etc but they should still let the opition

It wouldn't be easy to do since I am on an AMD card and have AMD settings. The issue is with the game's optimisation not your PC but, there should be some temporary workarounds to get atleast 60 FPS. I could probably help with a few ideas. What settings are you on? Low-mid-high? And what is your resolution in game set to?

I have a problem with you, I use RTX 3060 and the frame drops very often, that's when I install the application on the HDD not on NvMe.2 but after I move it to Nvme.2 everything runs very smoothly
There's something wrong with your pc then. My 3060ti has no trouble touching 60fps althought with some stutters (probably caused by the game itself)
Works. But careful. The game runs on 60fps cause they know it wont run on 144 or 120 fps on medium systems. You need gud computor for dis.

I don't know if this thing is happening to me only or not that there is nothing in that file when it is opened in the recommended software. I tried this trick and worked , I had found the shown codings in that file a few days ago, but after I updated the game yesterday I can't find anything..!!! Been using fps unlockers on genshin/star rail for years, have never seen anyone legitimately banned for using em. I don't see Kuro banning people for it either as you aren't changing, manipulating, or doing anything malicious with the games code. However, they are going to release 120 fps soon so you can definitely wait for that

I followed your steps, but it still stayed at 30 fps during combat. Then I closed the game and went back to the program, and it went back to 60 after I set it to 120 :(
Hmm.. that's strange. I haven't seen any reports of anyone else having this issue. Try doing the steps from the start again and closing the game first

Tried this and well did get the extra juicy fps, no sweat there. Though because of how u change some of the sittings in the file, can actually trigger something in their system, or well i think. Since i did this, suddenly my account is under investigation mission, so im unable to play with other people now, but im still able to play solo in the game wich is fine. So well yeah at own risk, the fps is diffently juicy but beware u might not be able to go into multiplayer since it might trigger something in their system. Just a heads ups ^^ But than again who doesnt want some more fps to make the game more smoother to play :P
or it might be of some other suspecious reason, like someone has acces to my gmail account or something, wich gonna be doing so my account is showing from multiple countries, wich such things can also trigger such things

@@Wolfrich666 thank you for your response i deleted all those files in localstorage just like you adviced. then run the game. it downloaded around 400mb. then to my surprise 120fps was unlocked in game setting after restarting. 😅

Higher fps doesn’t reduce ping. Ping is affected by your connection to their servers and fps is a hardware thing most of the time.
