Zaraki could win the 1 on 1 combat infinitely, but as long as Zaraki still has Reishi, Hisagi would continue to heal. I love that his power is just an exhausting draw. He can sadly never win, but neither can his opponents. Great for anyone not going for strongest in the verse. Actually, basically perfect for anyone with an ally fighting someone any amount stronger than them. He could legit solo the soul king to exhaustion... so long as the soul king can't break out with his reishi, though I'm assuming his bankai would just absorb any effort put into breaking it since it is powered by the user and opponent

Nope, it's most useful when he has less. His bankai forces a draw. It basically takes all the power of both users and forces then to fight until they're both totally exhausted and will drain both of their energy to heal both of them, no matter what kind of damage is done. Basically, both fighters become immortal until they're fully exhausted. It's great against an opponent you know you can't win against and can give your allies the chance to deliver a finishing blow if you have allies. Though, you also can be dealt a death blow if the opponent has allies too. It's situational, but great against enemies that seem all powerful
@@bankin3119 No, basically imagine that once he activates his Bankai both his and his opponents reiatsu is turned into a pool from which both of them can draw energy to heal themselves. Both of them share the same pool, so even if his reiatsu is lower than his enemy's he will still get healed and vice versa. This Bankai effectively turns any and all combat into a draw, since the only way to win is by completing exhausting the pool which contains both of their reiatsu, making both of them exhausted at the exact same time. Basically this Bankai works in the opposite way of normal Bankai, in which it's actually only ever worth it if his enemy is stronger than him since he wouldn't be able to win against them in a straight 1v1 but with the Bankai he can force a draw.

Even Byakuya had something resembling Domain Expansion literally in Soul Society arc when he fought fake Ichigo's bankai. Not to mention Tosen when he fought Kenpachi, in the same Soul Society arc.

Another cool part is that it equalizes the battle in the sense that hisagi and his opponent's reishi get added together. So if he fights a weaker opponent, it gives his enemy a boost, but it give him a boost if he fights someone stronger. It basically forces the fight to be fair and then turns into a battle to see who can dish out the most damage fastest

If Aizen hadn’t got the Hyogoku I’m convinced Hisagi could’ve killed him with this
Megumi Fushiguro after watching this: "ahh i see"
He has to be one of the cooler characters in anime that gets too little showtime. Feel like he could be a MC in a ton of other shows based off his looks and and abilities.
That's why he's the MC in the light novels
"i dont have to win, we just both have to lose " ahhhh bankai
Bro has a Domain
Bankai is better and stronger than domains would ever be
@@masonmcfadden4886 i didn't Said Domains are stronger than Final Release lol, clearly you're an angsty fan who feels the need to sugar coat his Fav anime lol
@@censordcensored7964 My fav anime is one piece mind you
It's more that domains are based on bankai from bleach (eg. Mahito's domain expansion is a nerfed version of Urahara's bankai).
“Why won’t you die!!?!” “Kazeshini kid. It heals me in response to physical trauma”
Opponent: I'll fight you
Hisagi: so... you've chosen DEATH ☠
"You thought I'm losing? Nah, *we losing."*
With abilities like that Kenpachi would be stalking him every day for a fight 😂. Shame we didnt get to see in the manga 😅, maybe we might get to see in the anime?
Yumichika and Ikkaku felt the same. After seeing Zaraki's reaction to the bankai, they pitied Hisagi
@@corruptangel6793 can you me the link of LN if you know?
Ok that's it, I've seen enough in 3 shorts, I'm subbing rn
Hottest and coolest ultra mega side character
His fear of fighting and his own blade is no joke
Bankai must be manifestation of his internal struggles
Its a shame that we did not have a chance to watch his bankai in anime. and then how come someone like Iba Tetsuzaemon can become a Captain?!
Bro a top tier crash out💀
And he also needs an 3rd party member also
Bro has his own domain expansion
The shikai is cool, I don’t see how the bankai is a plus…seems only useful if he has more reiatsu than the opponent
@@Chronoflation if he runs out of reiatsu the bankai keeps draining the opponent?
@@gabrieldossantos1116 okay, I get it now…but having a bankai that doesn’t attempt to win is a bit of a letdown…I bet if he went up against a top tier we would find out it’s not all that too
@@bankin3119 Its still good. Better to draw than lose. Its built to take down people stronger than him.
If he had it in the arrancar he could have taken down Stark or Ulquiorra on his own.
The chains around his neck goes haaaaard tho
Hisagi turned out to be an absolute gem of a character. His entire character arc paired off with that epic shikai state really shows his extreme growth. He who faces the fear of death before every fight yet heals even in the face of death... wonderful character
That is metal as FUCK!
Oh my God
It also puts them at an even playing field meaning he could stall out anyone with his bankai which is INSANE
Imagine bro pulled his bankai on yhwach the whole tybw arc would be done in 2 chapters😂
Basically, an upgraded Mordekaiser ult 🤣🤣🤣
Take away all the stuff on his face, and Hisagi just looks like a purple-haired Ichigo.
Truth is, each Bankai in the series, is cool in its own unique way.
I love him so much, he is my fav character
Hisagi is so underrated
bro ain't going down alone
Bro basically said “run my 1s”
He could potentially be the next Kenpachi 🗿
“Fair fight” taken to extreme.
"you think I'm losing? Nah b we losing" ahh bankai
He literally cannot lose unless hes up against really broken hax based abilities like gremmys imagination, ichibeis ink, gerards miracle, etc. He wont ever run out of reiatsu, heals from anything, and is constantly stealing your reiatsu. He unironically would fold people like kenpachi.
Man actually had Domain Expansion before it was popular
Even Byakuya had something resembling Domain Expansion literally in Soul Society arc when he fought fake Ichigo's bankai.
Not to mention Tosen when he fought Kenpachi, in the same Soul Society arc.
This unironically the perfect bankai to have if you have a small group with you because they could jump your oppenent when you both collapse
When I saw his zanpakuto's physical form I knew in that moment that his bankai was definitely going to be unique and cool
Kenpachi : hold my beer.... 🍺
Oh you think I'm losing, nah WE LOSING...
Roses are red
attacks against me won't prosper
With this sacred treasure, I summon...
You cant beat me.
"No... but I can make you lose."
The Bankai, as well as the Light novels were one of the reasons why Shuhei was one of my favorite characters in the Bleach series.
the dark moon backdrop is just so COOL. The chains coming out out as if it were blood is also sick
he has always been one of my favorite characters
Bro's like "I'm losing, No! we're losing"
Major “if I’m going down I’m taking you with me” vibes🔥
I really wish they make this canon in the anime. Not having the whole Bankai randomly being put in, but just some hints of his Shikai's true ability
this bankai is Kenpachi's wet dream
Yup, Kenpachi slice him into two parts and everyone shock after watching Hisagi healing himself, even Hisagi uniform got healing too.
Correct me if wrong, at the and of novel Ken Chan looking for Hisagi to challenge Him.
That man bankai is the epitome of “stand up and bang”
Hisagi was my favorite character even before CFYOW , and still is.
I honestly agree. The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic is the best anime.
Bro I’m ngl when I first started THE Bleach series, when I saw THIS 🥷🏽 I instantly thought “YEAH THIS FIN BE MY FAVORITE CHARACTER HE JUH LOOK LIKE HE FUCK SHI UP” 😂😂😂
You're packed in fnaf 3.
As a wise man once said "I'm addicted to guards"
Coolest means so many things to so many people…
Another cool part is that it equalizes the battle in the sense that hisagi and his opponent's reishi get added together. So if he fights a weaker opponent, it gives his enemy a boost, but it give him a boost if he fights someone stronger. It basically forces the fight to be fair and then turns into a battle to see who can dish out the most damage fastest
Anyone else really glad that Kubo went back and actually started writing with more research. It feels a lot more flushed out and if anybody knows the story about why he wrote the Manga as fast as he did it's actually very heart-wrenching.
All fun and games until Ichigo says "but muh frenz"
His Shikai and Bankai are perfect, because he fears death if I'm not mistaken
Bro really said "nah not me . WE are going down"
"this town ain't big enough for the both of us" ahhh bankai 😭
this is NEVER going to be a tiebreaker😭
Any ability with a chain is always cool to watch. I love kurapika.
