Lotto was the scariest song for Exo. They were afraid that their fans wouldn't like the sound (so much autotune) and the fact that they were engaging in all these risky behavior. The Korean TV networks actually banned the song for some time, so they changed the title to Louder (and also some of the lyrics). Lotto ended up being the 10th most watched Kpop mv that year and the song won 7 trophies.

Don't Fight the Feeling is a summer vibe, the mv is actually a gift for EXO fans. This was recorded and released during pandemic where promoting together was hard coz of the strict regulations during pandemic. Lay was also here, which makes it more special and emotional for all OT9 exo fans.
Moreover, it is an upbeat song matching the positive lyrics. It is a feel good song which is perfect during the pandemic where everything was difficult in our lives, we were broken and in pain physically, emotionally and mentally during that time where we lost many people and some of our special someone because of the Covid-19. Anyway, this era was really a surprise for everyone because we didn't expect a sudden comeback. It is a comeback, but not really a comeback since they can't promote this song fully. But we were overjoyed and genuinely touched because exo made this mv to cheer us up.
In EXO's "Don't Fight the Feeling" they used green screen during a lot of the MV because Lay, EXO's Chinese member, was unable to be in Korea to shoot the MV, so he shot all his parts separate in his studio in China and they inserted them into the MV. (Therefore, although it looks like Lay -- the guy with the red shirt -- is dancing with them, he is actually dancing by himself in the whole MV.) This MV was released in June 2021 -- during the pandemic -- and it was shot right before Baekhyun and Chanyeol enlisted in the military.
This mini album was a special project they did for their fans because Xiumin and D.O. had just been discharged from the military -- which is one reason why they have a prominent role in the MV -- and Chanyeol and Baekhyun were about to enlist. (Suho and Chen had already enlisted before this MV was planned, so they were the only members who didn't participate.) There were only 7 members of the 9-member group in this MV.
"Don't Fight the Feeling" is a milestone for fans because this is the first time we have seen Lay "back together" (sort of) with EXO since 2016/2018, because of all the political issues between Korea and China.
If you notice, this MV establishes EXO's connection to Planet Exo, with the words EXO Planet strategically placed around the ship. And you also may have noticed L-1485 in several places on the ship because this represents EXO-Ls, 14/08/05 (Aug. 5, 2014) -- 1485 -- is the day EXO's fandom was given the name EXO-L. (Fun fact: Chanyeol also has a real tattoo that says L-1485 because EXO's fans are that important to him. :D)
As you would have seen at the end of the video -- if you had let it play a few more seconds after the end title screen -- it's thought that EXO are on their spaceship traveling across dimensions.
"Don't Fight the Feeling" is also connected to EXO's and SuperM's storyline and it's all part of the SM Culture Universe. If you follow the storylines of all of SM's groups you will see connections can be made with "Don't Fight the Feeling" to EXO's story, as well as several of SM's other groups' MVs, such as SuperM's "100", WayV's "Moonwalk", NCT's "Save", etc. For example, the flag you see in this MV should remind you of the flags you see as the logo during EXO's "Obsession" comeback, as well as the flags you will see in EXO's live concert performance of "El Dorado", and the scene with Sehun on the motorcycle should remind you of the scenes with him on the motorcycle in EXO's "Tempo" and "Lightsaber" MVs, etc.
The meteors and the explosions, etc. are all part of SM's Universe storyline, as well. You see the planet burning at the end of EXO's "Obsession" MV and you will see everything on fire when you watch Lay's solo "Sheep" Alan Walker Relift version MV. There are also meteor showers happening in several of EXO's concert VCR and MV teaser concept videos, etc. And I think it's even connected to the meteor shower we see happening in WayV's "Moonwalk" MV, etc. And, now, it really looks like it could be connected to what is happening in EXO's new "Let Me In" MV.
And I think the blue drink we see Kai drinking has something to do with the blue drink we see EXO drinking in their "Ko Ko Bop" MV. (And now I also think it's connected to the blue drinks we see all the EXO members drinking in their new "Cream Soda" MV.)
They use red, white and blue all over in this MV, because they are South Korea's colors. Plus, as mentioned before, red and blue are all part of EXO's storyline.
Therefore, because we see EXO dressed in blue and black when they are part of the crew of the ship -- similar to the outfits we saw in their "Obsession" MV -- this is most likely an indication that this is EXO. However, when we see them in the group "party scene" this could possibly be X-EXO, EXO's alter ego clones, who were created by the Red Force. We see Lay in red and other members with red accents, so they might be under the Red Forces' control in those scenes.

To understand the story in EXO's "Ko Ko Bop" MV, you have to connect the story in "Ko Ko Bop" to the story in their "Lucky One" MV. "Ko Ko Bop" may look trippy and crazy, but if you understand EXO's storyline you will see that everything was done for a specific reason.
There are 8 members in "Ko Ko Bop." This MV came out in 2017 and it was the first MV where EXO's Chinese member, Lay, was unable to participate because of the political issues between the Korean and Chinese government at the time.
I can see how people might think that Ko Ko Bop is a drug they are all taking and that is why they are acting like they are high and kind of in a loopy drugged-like state. But to really understand what is happening in "Ko Ko Bop," you have to know what was happening in their "Lucky One" MV. In "Lucky One" EXO has been captured by the Red Force who is doing experiments on EXO to try and figure out what makes them special, and to find a way to prevent them from finding and protecting the Tree of Life, etc. The members all use their powers to escape from the government facility and this is where theories say that the story in "Ko Ko Bop" picks up right after they have escaped in "Lucky One".
The blue Ko Ko Bop drink that Suho mixes and the members drink -- which I now think is connected to the blue drink we see Kai drinking in their "Don't Fight the Feeling" MV and the blue drink that we see everyone drinking in their new "Cream Soda" MV -- and the pills or wafers you see them eating, was originally thought to be an elixir that is helping the members to detox from the drugs the Red Force gave them when they were being held against their will in the "Lucky One" MV.
According to SM Entertainment the story in "Ko Ko Bop" also shows the members soon after they have arrived on Earth and they are all experimenting with their powers.
That is why in "Ko Ko Bop" you see Kai with the power of teleportation using his power to levitate and you see him do the "treadmill" move next to the car. Suho, with the power to control water, jumps into the water and disappears, and later appears inside the washing machine, etc. Xiumin has the power of snow/ice/frost, so he is using his power to create a cloud to fill the glass. Sehun uses his power to control wind to make objects float in the air. D.O. accidentally uses his power of strength/force and splits open the ground when he falls down. You see Chen with the power of thunder/lightning/electricity playing with his power. Baekhyun uses his power of light as he throws the ball in the air and creates that huge flash of light, and Chanyeol uses his power of fire to create the fireworks when he bounces the ball into the sky. The car also looks like it's driving by itself because they are using their powers to control the car, etc.
Their unbridled use of their powers and the haphazard way they play with their environment around them can be explained by the fact that they were drugged in "Lucky One" and while they are still dealing with the drugs in their system, in "Ko Ko Bop" their inhibitions are lowered and they use their powers without caution.
Those tattoos you can see are fake, but like everything SM does, they aren't just random tattoos, they are specific images and messages as part of EXO's storyline.
So part of their story goes: The members were trapped in the maze by the Red Force in their "Overdose" MV and while they were trapped, they were captured and moved to the lab in "Lucky One" and after escaping in "Lucky One" we see them detoxing in "Ko Ko Bop."
However, since then, we now have more information after EXO's "Obsession" MV part of the story was released. In "Obsession" we have discovered that the Red Force has created X-EXO clones. So, some theories now think that instead of "Ko Ko Bop" being about the EXO members, it might be showing us X-EXO. In "Obsession," the members in the bright colors with the crazy hair and makeup were the X-EXO clones and the members in the all-black outfits were EXO. So now some theories think that maybe because "Ko Ko Bop" is so colorful, that it is showing us X-EXO right after they were brought to life, and this is their first time out in the world. So, X-EXO are playing with their powers and trying to figure out how they work, and they are getting acclimated to their environment, etc.
But, as you can see, to make it even more difficult to follow the story, nothing is in chronological order. As fans we have to become detectives and analyze everything that EXO does in order to try and figure out where each piece fits within the larger storyline. Although, at this point, it's only theories and educated guesses. With every new release from EXO it adds another piece to their story. Sometimes that new piece helps to confirm what we thought was happening and other times it turns everything on its head and we realize that what we thought was happening wasn't even close. We can only hope that someday SM will finally explain everything, so we will know whether what we have been thinking all along is correct.

EXO's discography is one of the most (if not the most) diverse in Kpop. They don't have any bad song (at least for me). Pls check their live performances (ex. their acoustic medley & 2018 golden disc perf) & you'll find that EXO is truly a top-tier idol group. Thank you for liking EXO.
24:50 is Chanyeol! Lay appears after Sehun’s rap ( he participated in mv by CGI) .
One theory is that "Love Me Right" is showing the EXO members in different locations or time periods -- or possibly, part of a dream-like existence, created by the Red Force to trap the members within the maze, like we see in their "Overdose" MV. Therefore, if EXO are still trapped in the maze, some of the scenes are also thought to be them fighting to break free from the fog that the Red Force has them in and escape, etc.
Some also say "Love Me Right" establishes how EXO are traveling through history looking for the Red Force as they try to fix all the problems that the Red Force has caused, while they search for the Tree of Life. That is why each scene looks like it is from a different time period.
You see the red light because, as with everything EXO does, red represents the Red Force. So some theories are that the scenes with the red light are scenes where the Red Force has control, and the scenes where you see the blue light are when EXO has the upperhand. And the scenes where you see the purple colors are times when the line is blurred and EXO and the Red Force are crossing paths -- red and blue mixed together make purple. Also since we now have more information about X-EXO, which are EXO's alter ego clones, some new theories are starting to suggest that maybe the red scenes are actually the X-EXO clones and the blue scenes are the EXO members.
And, although the smoke looks pink, I think we are supposed to recognize it as red-tinted smoke, which is another indication that whatever is causing the smoke has something to do with the Red Force. Some theories even think that scene might be connected to EXO's "Lucky One" MV storyline. In "Lucky One" we see the Red Force experimenting on EXO and, in the EXO-M version, Xiumin is trapped in a box filled with smoke or fog. In "Love Me Right" we see Xiumin doing some sort of experiment in the room with the red smoke.
At one point you see Xiumin mixing some sort of purple liquid and, although I am not sure what he is making or why, some theories speculate that that potion is created from flowers. And flowers are a central theme in almost all of EXO's MVs. We see Xiumin mixing/blending a similar liquid with flowers in EXO-CBX's "Blooming Day" MV. Also, because this liquid is purple, I think it could potentially be some sort of potion that will help the EXO members break the spell the Red Force has over them or it will help to identify who are the real EXO members and who are the evil X-EXO alter ego clones in disguise, etc.
The smashed TV is also thought to be connected to EXO's Japanese song, "Coming Over" MV storyline. If you remember, in "Coming Over" we see EXO smashing TVs, mirrors, and surveillance cameras, in what is thought to be an attempt at stopping and preventing the Red Force from controlling humanity. And in EXO-CBX's "Hey Mama" MV you will see that the CBX members have now infiltrated a TV news studio and they are working to stop the Red Force from controlling the news anchors and corrupting society by controlling the flow of news, etc.
Some have pointed out that the smashed TVs look like running water. Water is Suho's superpower and fire is Chanyeol's power. And you see Suho and Chanyeol in that scene. So, Suho and Chanyeol are most likely involved with whatever is happening in this scene.
The scene where you see Baekhyun laying on the train tracks could possibly be connected to the storyline in EXO-CBX's "Horololo" MV where we see Chen, Baekhyun and Xiumin searching the train tracks for clues. (It also now could be connected to SuperM's storyline in their "100" MV, SHINee Key's solo debut "One of Those Nights" MV, aespa's "Black Mamba" storyline, SHINee's "Don't Call Me" MV storyline, EXO Kai's solo debut storyline, and EXO Baekhyun's "Bambi" MV storyline, etc. as part of the SM Culture Universe story that connects everything SM does together.)
And the scene where you see Xiumin laying on the ground, almost as if he is passed out, in the middle of the forest looks as though it is connected to Suho's "Call Me Baby" pathcode teaser video storyline, as well as the scenes with Suho in the forest in EXO's "For Life" MV. We see Xiumin being woken up by, I think Suho, with a sort of fog all around them. I think the fog might be the fog we see Suho and Xiumin trapped within when they are being experimented on in "Lucky One, and Xiumin is waking up either within a dream or being woken from a dream.
To really understand what might be going on in this MV you pretty much have to pause the MV at every scene and really analyze what is happening in each frame. And, although I have watched this MV numerous times, because it is so complex, I still have no idea what most of the MV is trying to tell us.
Although I am not sure what the marbles mean, I know they are somehow connected to EXO's "Call Me Baby" pathcode teaser videos -- and more specifically D.O.'s teaser -- where we see D.O. with marbles, and SM specifically points out that we need to pay attention to the marbles to solve the riddle. And we see a newer reference to the mables in EXO's "Don't Fight the Feeling" MV.
As you can see, everything EXO does is connected to their concept and storyline and it's all about the fact that they are fighting the Red Force and searching for the Tree of Life. And because EXO are trying to undo everything and stop the Red Force from corrupting humanity, the Red Force is always standing in EXO's way, trying to stop them from accomplishing their tasks and prevent them from reuniting the two halves of the Tree of Life in order to prevent peace from being restored in the world.
And the story continues in every MV.
But what makes their storyline even more complicated is that nothing is in chronological order, so you really have to pay attention to even the most minute of details to figure out where each MV or each scene within an MV might fit within EXO's larger storyline.
And the storyline even continues with the choreography. If you watch their dance practice video, you may notice that there are several dance moves where it could be interpreted as some of the members using their powers. For example, D.O. waves his arms and the rest of the membres are pulled toward him or pushes away from him. D.O. has the power of earth/force, which gives him strength. I also see the gliding movements representing how the members are traveling across time and place as they fight to regain control from the Red Force, etc.
"Love Me Right" was released in June 2015 -- Kris and Luhan left the group in 2014 and Tao left around April 2015 -- so this was the first MV where there are 9 members.
To really appreciate their vocals and dancing, you should also see "Love Me Right" live. Check out a comeback stage or one of their live videos from a concert, even if it's just on your own time. :D

Fan theories believe that "Lotto" is the prequel to "Monster." "Monster" is from EXO's EX'Act album and "Lotto" is from their EX'Act repackaged album, which came out in 2016. So, to understand the story in "Lotto" and "Monster" you have to connect the two storylines. How I interpret things is that the story starts in "Lotto" as EXO goes undercover and works to take down the gambling ring, which is thought to probably be run by the Red Force, and now that we know about EXO's clones from their "Obsession" storyline, maybe even X-EXO are involved.
Fun fact: Kai -- EXO's main dancer -- isn't dancing in the "Lotto" MV. As you saw, Lay, EXO's Chinese member -- EXO-M's main dancer -- and Sehun -- EXO-K's other main dancer -- are the dancers highlighted in "Lotto." Kai was injured during this time and couldn't dance, which is why you see him sitting down in the MV.
In live performances at this time, Kai is absent when Lay is part of the performance because he is still recovering. However, when Kai is back performing the song, Lay was absent because he was busy doing solo activities in China.
In live TV network performances of "Lotto" you might also notice that they change the title of the song to "Louder" and the lyrics are changed to use the word louder instead of lotto as well. Gambling is illegal in Korea and it's one of those things that are banned from being talked about in mainstream media. So, in order to make the song TV- and radio-friendly they often have to change everything to "Louder."
I think the two stories in both "Lotto" and "Monster" actually overlap. I think both MVs take place in the same location and around the same time frame, and in each MV you see the members in different moments as they try to destroy everything to do with this gambling ring. You see them breaking everything in both MVs and you see them smash the car in "Lotto," and in "Monster" you see the car has now been set on fire, and they burn the money and other things in "Lotto" as well, etc.
At the end of "Lotto" you see the police or FBI have come in and are just starting to take the members into custody, but you may remember in "Monster" it shows all the members have now been arrested. So, I see it as the fight starts in "Lotto" and continues in "Monster." At the end of "Monster," all the members were now in custody and Baekhyun rescues them as he releases them from the back of the police van allowing them to escape, etc.
The birds you see in the cage are roosters -- cock fighting roosters to be exact -- and they are another form of gambling. And the dogs are probably guard dogs like what criminal enterprises use as part of their security to deter someone from causing trouble or wanting to rob them, etc. The dogs are thought to be part of the Red Forces' security efforts. Don't worry, SM and EXO don't like animal cruelty either, that's the whole point they are trying to make. It's just another form of evil that comes with gambling.
Also, in EXO's "Obsession" MV we see EXO are the members in all black and X-EXO are the members in the colorful outfits with the crazy makeup and hair. So, if you notice, in "Monster" the members are all in black for part of the MV (In "Monster" we also see EXO in black and red outfits, which we have now started to think is supposed to be X-EXO in those scenes because of the red on their outfits), and in "Lotto" they are pretty much in black or dark neutral colors, so that is why I think the story is being depicted from EXO's point of view.
You also may notice that in "Monster," and in parts of "Lotto," Chanyeol has red hair. But at the end of "Lotto" when he is being arrested, he has blond hair. I think this also might mean that the Chanyeol with red hair is his X-EXO clone, while the blond Chanyeol is the good EXO member who is undercover, trying to accomplish his tasks here on Earth and help the girl, etc.
So, in "Lotto" and "Monster" I think what we are watching are the EXO members trying to take down X-EXO and the Red Force and stop the evil and corruption that the Red Force is inflicting on the world, which is depicted here as corruption through illegal gambling.
We are not really sure what the girl takes from Chanyeol at the end of "Lotto", but it definitely wasn't money. If you pay attention to the lyrics, one of the English lines is, "I don't need no money." That is why they burn the huge stack of cash. Most theories agree that the currency that EXO values the most is flowers. There is an overwhelming use of flowers in many of their MVs, and as you see in "Love Shot," for example, they aren't collecting money but flowers. And in EXO-CBX's "Hey Mama" and "Blooming Day" and in EXO's "Love Me Right", etc. you see them with flowers.
My theory is that the girl is somehow connected to EXO's quest to find and protect the Tree of Life and that is why at the end of "Lotto" you see her secretly take something out of Chanyeol's hand -- which if you pause the MV and zoom in, you will see looks like a small video tape -- to somehow help them in their quest. The video tape is thought to be the video that D.O. is filming with the camcorder in the middle of "Lotto." It's still unclear at this point how the girl fits in the storyline, but I think, or at least I hope, that in the future we will discover more about her and what significance she has within the story.
Some say the "girl" that EXO is always singing about and you sometimes see in their MVs -- like in "Lotto" -- is a manifestation of the heart of the Tree of Life and that is why the members are always rescuing or protecting the girl, etc. And why all their songs are about being in love with a girl or being controlled by the power of the girl, such as in the lyrics of EXO's "Overdose" for example. Or how they talk about knowing they are bad news for the girl but they want her anyway and they can't help it, but in the end, they know they might destroy her -- as they say in "Monster," etc. etc. When you think of the girl as the heart of the Tree of Life the mystery begins to unfold even more.
I have seen this MV dozens of times, and each time I watch it I still see something different and am still working to unravel more clues. But "Lotto" and "Monster" are the two EXO MVs that have me the most confused. I'm still struggling to really grasp the full story those MVs are trying to tell. I think part of the reason why I find these two MVs so confusing, is the fact that they depart the most from the linear storyline and the story jumps back and forth between the two MVs so much that it's difficult to put the events in order to really make a clear picture.

I agree, they're also good at and known for their sexy and smooth vibe songs whether RnB or dark mid tempo beat. I love all their sexy, jazzy and dark songs like 24/7, sweet lies, Ooh La La La, Fall and many more.
As with everything EXO does, including their solo work and sub-units, the stories in their MVs are all connected to EXO's larger storyline. So, the story in EXO-CBX's "Hey Mama" MV is telling another piece of EXO's story.
In "Hey Mama," the widely accepted theory is that the Red Force has infiltrated the news media and they are controlling humanity through the news that is being broadcast on TV. The members of CBX have gone undercover to try and stop the Red Force.
One of the easiest, and most central, themes in all of EXO's MVs and everything they do, is the use of red. When you see the color red or red light this is used to symbolize something to do with the Red Force and it often shows how the Red Force is the ones that are in control of whatever is covered in red at that moment.
If you pay attention to how the people act when red colored objects are being used in the "Hey Mama" MV, you will see that they act like they are in a trance or being controlled by something. For instance, the paper the newscaster reads from is red and the drinks the people are drinking in the conference room are red. And, if you notice, everyone, including CBX, is acting like robots or zombies -- as if they are in a trance -- when red is involved. But as soon as Chen, Baekhyun and Xiumin get rid of the red paper and the red drinks, etc. the people start to come to life and act more normal.
As you can see, not only is EXO's story based on fantasy and sci-fi concepts, but it is partially based on real societal issues and events and topics that SM wants to shine a light on. When you really think about it, a lot of EXO's story is a social commentary on the problems and issues that we as humans are dealing with in real life -- such as environmental issues, war, technology, media (LOL "fake news"), etc.
Also pay attention to the use of flowers when it comes to EXO. In this MV you see Baekhyun dropping flower petals down on Chen and they collect bunches of flowers and you see them burning them in the fire, etc. Although we are not positive what the real effect flowers have in EXO's story yet, in "Hey Mama" it seems as though the flowers help to bring them out of the trance that the Red Force is trying to trap them in. You will see instances of EXO using flowers in all different ways across a majority of their MVs and it's all tied to their storyline.
As you can see, EXO-CBX is a sub-unit of EXO, made up of 3 of EXO's main/lead vocalists -- Chen, Baekhyun and Xiumin, hence the name CBX. (Xiumin has always been known as a lead rapper in EXO-M, so, as you just heard, CBX allows him to show off his rap skills. But Baekhyun -- and sometimes Chen -- also becomes a rapper when they are a member of CBX, which is different than what we normally get to hear from them as a member of EXO.)
This sub-unit was created because at the time Chen, Baekhyun and Xiumin were the only members who didn't have any side projects. They were all in the gym working out together discussing what they should do while everyone else was working on other things, and their trainer suggested they form a sub-unit. So, they took the idea to the company and SM agreed that they would make a good unit.

EXO CBX are unique and have a lot of good songs, even if they are not defined as part of the group's dance line, they are still talented at dancing (in Blooming Day' Dance Practice they are really on another level).

D.O. is one of the main vocalist so ofc he can SING SING 😅 so Chen D.O. and Baekhyun is considered top 3 best vocalist in kpop. Maybe u didn't notice him because the highnote are mostly Chen and Baekhyun. But D.O. often do highnote too and he was called the one who opened EXO songs the most.. and now maybe the number are back to back with baekhyun You need too dive deeper into their B-sides track too.
Lotto has a heavy autotune for sound effects purposes (coz obviously they can sing 100%) Some may not like autotune but I kinda like it. I love how Exo wasn't scared trying this vibe. If I'm not mistaken SM Entertainment this era was experimental and trying new sounds.

BAEKHYUN actually popularized Mullet hair with kokobop MV. In Lotto the autotune was intentional of course and haters tried to drag down exo because of it... But after watching exo perform lotto live, everyone was shocked by seeing just how good were. You should check out lotto live performance.

Although I don't really understand most of what is happening in EXO's "Electric Kiss" MV, I think what it is showing us is EXO traveling between space and time and across dimensions. When you pair the MV with each of the member's individual pre-release teaser clips, it is thought that "Electric Kiss" is showing EXO -- or maybe now that we know about X-EXO, maybe it's X-EXO -- as they have fully realized their full power potential. That's why you see Chanyeol create the explosion -- he no longer has the gentle little flame that we see in their debut "Mama" MV or the spark that we see in their "Ko Ko Bop" MV, for instance -- his power is now fueled by anger or a need to eliminate someone or something, etc. (We also see things like Kai dressed in red, which is often an indication that that could mean they are being controlled by the Red Force or they could be X-EXO.)
It is thought that Chanyeol's wings could possibly be dragon wings. One theory has been since Kris, Luhan and Tao left the group, that the other members have absorbed their powers. Kris and Chanyeol were power counterparts. Kris had the power of flight and his spirit animal was a dragon and Chanyeol has the power of fire and his spirit animal is a phoenix, so they were connected because they both had elements of flight and fire in their powers. So it is thought that maybe Chanyeol took on Kris' powers of the dragon.
You also see D.O. in that room full of film reels. If you remember, in "Monster" and "Lotto", D.O. is the one who is filming everything that is happening and it is through that it's his videotape that Chanyeol gives to the girl at the end of "Lotto." Therefore, in "Electric Kiss," it's almost as if the films are the collection of videos that D.O. has been accumulating. However, I am not really sure if they are intended as evidence to be used against the Red Force, or if the videos are supposed to be used for blackmail or if they are part of the Red Forces' plan for control, etc. It's not clear whether D.O. is the good and pure EXO member or if he is an X-EXO member under the control of the Red Force, etc.
In their "Tempo" MV we see the members in the movie theater and Suho is trying to prevent the members from seeing whatever is on the movie screen (and now we also see Chen and Xiumin in what is thought to be that same theater in their "Let Me In" MV), and we see what is thought to be the Red Force using video images of the forest to try and trick Suho into forgetting that he is trapped in the maze in their "For Life" MV, etc.
However, in "Electric Kiss" Xiumin is the one that is filming with the video camera this time, and it's almost as if he is using it as he plays the lookout for the other members. We see Xiumin use the video camera to see Sehun who is in the building across from him, and he is watching Baekhyun who is in the parking lot area between the buildings, etc.
Some theories even say that "Electric Kiss" is showing us the members teaming up. For instance, you see Baekhyun with his power of light, seem to combine his power with Sehun's wind power -- which you see depicted with the tornado -- and we see Chen's power of thunder and lightning with the lightning storm raging in the background.
For a long time, a lot of theories have thought that Suho is the one character who is unable to choose sides and that is why we see him always trying to save or rescue the members regardless of whether they are being controlled by the Red Force or not, which is also thought to be the case in "Electric Kiss." One theory is that Suho cannot choose a side, in fact he refuses to. This theory speculates that he doesn't believe that any of the members could truly be evil and he thinks in the end things eventually can be made right once again. And as the leader and guardian of EXO -- Suho in Korean means guardian -- he doesn't want to do anything that would cause a rift between the members. As you see in the MV, he feels trapped in a literal box, which is why that's where he is for the majority of the MV. Suho feels like he can't do much to fix things at this point, so he uses his power of water as a mirror to force the other members to see themselves and to get them to reflect on the destruction they've caused or to really pay attention to what is happening all around them. By forcing them to each look at themselves, they then realize that they can break free from the Red Forces' control.
With Suho's help, they all realize what they really want to do is what's best for the group, and in the end, they discover everything that they can accomplish with the full potential of their powers unlocked.
There is tons more going on in this MV, and there are a lot more theories, but these are just a few that readily stand out to me.
Absolutely, everything EXO does is connected and SM never loses sight of that, even when they release a Japanese album or single. Nothing in this MV was random or done without a specific purpose and it's all meant to connect to everything they have done so far and anything to come in the future, across all languages and countries.
Now you really need to go watch the dance practice for "Electric Kiss." This is considered one of the most difficult dances in all of Kpop and you can't fully appreciate it until you see it without and cuts or edits. :D
"Electric Kiss" is one of EXO's Japanese tracks, so that explains why the MV is short. Japanese MVs are traditionally shorter abridged versions of the song. My theory is that it's a marketing tactic. Japanese producers want to make sure that fans are purchasing the song and album, so they make the MV short so you hear just enough of the song that you want to hear more, which forces you to have to buy the song if you want to hear the full version.
Japanese songs and albums from Kpop artists are produced and marketed by Japanese companies, so that is why they have different/more strict copyrights. Often, the only way you can hear the full version of the song for free is if you watch a dance practice video, or you see a performance from one of their Japanese concerts. Plus, most of the time Japanese songs are not promoted outside of Japan, so the promotions for those songs are way different.

In lotto u can see the police or SWAT officers which are also seen in the MONSTER mv, that is because the two mvs are connected. Lotto got a lot of hate bcs of the autotune but I love it it's different and really grows on you (it sounds even better live without the autotune)
exo songs has a lot of switchups. So it does seem like there are 2 different songs in one. Also their music videos does not necessarily match with what the song is about. The MVs are mostly into their group concept sroryline. So it can be disorienting. But thank you for continuing the Exo journey.

I'm sorry I'm not trying to be rude but i have something to say about your reactions. First of all, i love your reactions and i hope you'll react to more. But ⬇️
1. You talk alot between videos so its a little rude and distracting to us who are watching. You miss a lot of things imo. You can stop a video and talk. We dont care about long videos. We want to listen to your opinions too but we want you to pay half of the attention to video and vocals too.
2. Storyline, you dont have to worry when you dont understand whats happening in the video. Nobody understand/gets the video in just 1 watch. Not every action in a video means something. You havent pay attention to mama storyline that why you didnt get anything 🥲
3. Subtitles, as you know some videos are old. New videos have subtitles too bcs they know they have international fans too. You can check the lyrics video separately to know whats the song is all about, but you dont pay attention to lyrics as well ( im talking about love shot video here )
