      (nth TIME)
      Sir,
      Congratulations on 203k. You rock.
want to know your thoughts on a quote from INTELLIGENT INVESTOR by Benjamin Graham- "Obvious prospects for physical growth in a business do not translate into obvious profits for investors."
      Your views?
      Question:
Want to become lukhi halwai in 15 yrs from jalebi bane wala.
      Have 20L portfolio with
Hdfc bank, L&T, Bajaj Finance & Happiest mind.
I plan to add approx 40k each month in them.
Shall I add few more stocks (if yes any examples for entertainment, no recommendations)
      Your thoughts.
Long-term view with high risk appetite.
      Hope you take this 🙏
      Thanks
      Rahul

Every thing looks better here except the absence of parents. I know that most of the parents wish their children to be in India and live along with them but sometimes children have to go abroad because of better work opportunity.

This is regarding beta of stock and DCF, which has asked questions, I wish to add on it.
    1) Beta- it is statistical one where you measure the stock' variance against stock's related index, for example if your stock is in nifty 50 then index is nifty 50. You are correlate your stock with index how volatile your stock. If beta of stock 1 then your stock moves same as index if beta more than 1 then your stock more volatile than index similarly if beta is lower than 1 then your stock is less volatile than index. High bets helps to earn more when stock will be in up trend if stocks will be in down trend then you loss more. Thus, you should know the direction well to gain. Formula is covarienc of stock and index dividend by variance of index you get beta of stock. Beta can be found in most of stock analysis reporting companies.
    2) DCF- means discounted cash flow, the name is self explanatory, you are discounting future cash flow to present value of the stock which will earn in future time period. In DCF there are two parts first one is dividend ( earning money as dividend from the profit) and second capital gain when you sell the stock after holding some period. In capital gain part we have different stages period to measure the actual current market price of the stock- growth stage or down stage and stable stage. In stable stage we considering stock prolong earning in constant like perpetual which generally we consider less than country' s GDP growth rate because the company will be more mature stage and unable make further high growth unless any changes in inorganic business models. Therefore , we find the terminal value of stock and discount it to present value and add it to the current growth period value and make the final value of PV of stock. So, we call terminal value calculation in perpetual where ROE is constant and where as in growth and down side the ROE in increasing and decreasing respectively and similarly or because of the payout and retention ration too. Remember that in DCF you are considering WACC for discounting which assumed based on systemic risk factors only not un-systemic risk factors. In systemic risk, you considering interest rate which will be arrived based on inflation.
Note down beta is used in DCF for cost of equity capital- cost of capital structure. V
I hope this gives some details about beta and terminal value.

But you mentioned in your you tube channel the stocks who doesn't fall in bear market , don't go much up in bull market. Pls. Clear the doubt.

Sir, please take my question. This is second time i am requesting. I am Ajay from Mumbai . I am retired from the Indian Navy and investing part of my savings into equity. There are lots of hidden gems which one picks up while listening to you. Your knowledge and experince sharing intentions are very noble because no one tells such inside stories of share market in public forum. My question is " During bull run should we hold on to good share till nifty peaks ? I mean good shares may become slow but not fall in bull run. so should we hold on to the gains made in initial part of bull run and wait for reasonable time ". Thank you very much

  • @harshwardhantwt

Sir its Extremely Important for all & asking 3rd time..We have historically seen during 2003-2007 Global Bullrun the Interest rates were rising till 2007 along with economy & Bull market and suddenly a crisis appeared and fed had to cut rates. But cutting rates didn't translated in the beginning of a new rally immediately, instead the market fell. Similarly we'r seeing current market ralley parallel to rise in interest rates. Don't you think there's a possibility of some crisis which may force Fed to cut rates, which make way for steep fall in equities(more than normal correction) before the Bull rally afterwards.

    Hello Sir,
You have already prepared two small cases for general investors.
In every of your video I hear " to make money make portfolio of 5 to 6 stocks". Can you please make such small cade which ia very concentrated and only pupose is to take high risk and big returns in long term. Please think about such small case.

Sir, during your early years when you leveraged your shares how did you generate and time cash flow for interest and capital repayment? Did you prepay any loans by selling shares?

    Basant Sir,
I have been a subscriber of "BM Focused Small Cap" for 4 months and the portfolio gave good returns. In today's video you mentioned re-balancing is due in couple of weeks. I have a question here.... Does rebalance mean removing some stock and adding new, or it also means adjusting weights. The reason I ask this question is that in Focused Small Cap Fund some stocks had gained very high where some stocks had gained little for now. So do you suggest we can re-weight the portfolio with existing stocks at certain intervals eg. 6 Months? Or wait for your next re-balance. Please suggest.

    (nth TIME)
    Sir,
    Congratulations on 203k. You rock.
want to know your thoughts on a quote from INTELLIGENT INVESTOR by Benjamin Graham- "Obvious prospects for physical growth in a business do not translate into obvious profits for investors."
    Your views?
    Hope you take this 🙏
    Thanks
    Rahul from Bengaluru
