    I really enjoy your vids, as share the luv of model kit's and Street Machine Magazine, wish id known about you before moving to Germany, today I watched "Hot Rod Hoarder" and saw some 'Factory Experimental Pick ups' never knew they existed and fancy doing a 'Steve Magnante' style build on one but in promo style.
    Watching your vids makes my day, in "model kitz Ville" anything is possible, as always thanks for a great vid, Best wishes to yourself,loved ones and fellow viewers.

      @@SunShine-dk6rk Thanks so much, it really is comments like this along with many others that make doing the channel worthwhile 🙂 I guess the great thing about TH-cam is that we can share this stuff with people who truly appreciate it no matter where you are and always grateful for those who enjoy our videos and one of the main reasons I started the channel in the first place.... For so many years I've had stuff go through the collection and nobody ever saw anything, at least this way we get to share it all along with great stories from our past like Street Machine and other influences. Many thanks once again and hope you're keeping well 🙂

      @@J.B.Scale.Creations Hi John, Sorry for late reply, I can understand you doing these vids and thoroughly enjoy them ie the inspiration,memories and stories behind the builds, with some kit's being older it's nice to know how you approached them at the time and history, seeing a great model is enjoyable but then a bit about the builder and the customising of the day.
      I started reading about the " GM Guild model building competion" where youngsters built models and entered the competion for prizes, some got scholarships and so on, one book interviews the builders now after many years and its a great read, much like your uploads and info its a pleasure to watch,listen and learn, it also shares and keeps the rich content alive that could otherwise be forgotton.
      Im just building these kerbside models in the promo style, no engine, brushed and simple like a model I had of a Maroon Ford Corsair around 1967, im building the engines to be displayed separately but more detailed.
      As always, thanks for the great vid and reply, hope your having a good weekend, Best wishes.

    Looks like someone did a nice job filling the rear doors on that Imperial…? Or shortening the fronts…?
    Revell / Atlantis is almost certainly reissuing the 1962 Revell Mopars, there were some test shots of them all in the background of a video, so likely everyone is trying to make their money on them before the official announcement…
    Funny how we all swap bits amongst ourselves, Gary and I have been planning to meet up for at least a decade 😂
    By far the hardest part of the Graffiti Merc is turning it into a ‘51, think I used a hacked up ‘56 Chevy rear bumper on mine. The chop on that one does look spot on. Got to shove the complete rear window down into the boot too…

    • @J.B.Scale.Creations
      @J.B.Scale.Creations  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@CycolacFan Thanks Mike, yeah I saw those test shots and really hoping the imperial makes a return (even though I have three already). Though in all fairness none of that range have seemed popular over here and pretty much all I've seen sold over here probably have sold for less or roundabouts what retail on a new kit would be when we eventually saw them... But if every old kit could be reissued I'd be more than happy regardless of whatever it does to values on old vintage stuff. Would have thought the Dart would be repopped in its funny car form though, to be honest I think it would do much better for sales that a retooled stock version, there's only a handful of fuddy duddys like us that like that kind of thing 😂. Does make you wonder what else they may have acquired though.
      Did see your other comment on the Tornado too, couldn't remember what the deal was with those at the time but just checked and there was no branding on the amt kit.. I guess they just left it blank until it was their turn which makes sense I suppose.
      Always loved your graffiti Merc, I know you always talk it down but was one of the best I've seen and you'd got the chop/ quarters bob on with that. I'm definitely not ashamed of taking on someone else's project anyways as it's saved me a lot of work... Oh and would have to make the dropped glass visible in the trunk as and when I did get round to it 🙂
      Anyways 100% you'll have a box on the way to you Monday mate, threw in a few extra bits as a gesture in lieu of my failed attempts on finding the olds wheel. I must have sorted through 600 sets of wheels in the process, good thing is though it's slowly been getting me to sort through stuff and just been listing a very small percentage on eBay to test the waters and they have pretty much all sold now so it's a bit of extra money for nothing so not a complete waste of time. 🙂 Hope you're keeping well anyways mate and hopefully have a catch up with you and Gary soon.

    Those 1970 AMT kits were partly funded by AMT so they got to sell those Jo-Han kits for the first year or so in AMT boxes before Jo-Han released them. So far as I know the USA Oldies issue is identical other than decals, instructions, box art etc. Both mine have the small amount of custom parts, rollpan, grille. The AMT version presumably has the Jo-Han logo engraved on it?

    Here’s a question for you… I watch your eBay sales, and after seeing the Allison engine (or was it Cummins) on your TH-cam video, I was waiting to see it appear on eBay. It never appeared as far as I could tell. It’s possible that you posted it for sale, and that someone bought it immediately, I guess.
    Or am I missing something?

    • @J.B.Scale.Creations

      @andyr5579 Hi Andy, yes they were listed and sold about a day after. I list every two weeks on a Sunday or Monday. Sorry you missed that one but You can message through eBay regarding sales. Many thanks.

      @@J.B.Scale.Creations ah right. Makes sense. I usually check eBay daily, but when you save a seller (as I have with you). EBay doesn’t seem to notify when items are listed. On all my other searches, there is a blue circle (iirc) to say new items have been found.
      I guess I’ll just have to check more frequently, especially Sunday/Mondays. Thanks for the response!

      @@andyr5579 Thanks Andy, really appreciate it. I think next weekend is when I'll be next listing. I try to fulfil my full 100 quota so will recycle old listings then make up numbers by pulling more from the collection. I never know what is for the chop until that weekend as I generally want to keep everything but being ruthless is a good way to make room for more stuff as and when I find it so always worth a look what may be available. Many thanks again 🙂

    • @J.B.Scale.Creations
      @J.B.Scale.Creations  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@GluebombGarage Thanks buddy really appreciate it. My eBay store is Stateside-Models. Sometimes you have to go direct to the UK site to view all listings. In all honesty our pricing is so different over here so kits you can probably pick up at swap meets for cheap where you are wouldn't be cost effective to ship. At the moment I don't have a great deal of vintage stuff listed, but funnily enough when I do 90% of it goes to the states as even with shipping your 60s kits demand more than they ever will in the UK so generally price that kind of thing between the two markets. Will be worth keeping an eye for those in the future as I may decide to reduce my personal collection dramatically at some point. Failing that I take a lot of pictures of my stuff so just good to have a look at some models if nothing else. Many thanks again anyway and hope you're keeping well 🙂
