    Dear Musicians,
I have transcribed the new album - *tabs, sheet music, chords* - which is available now at my website :)

Freaked me right out when Familiar Flower was counted in at exactly the album tempo, and then proceeded to explain that the song is partially about being free...within tempo 🤯

Holy moly I love those lower register improvisations -- they resonate in my soul.

Thank so much for the master class Julian! The explanation of these songs and their architecture is fantastic. I really enjoy you making music with bass Master Jorge Roeder! ;-)

Always a treat to hear both insight and wonderful music from such amazing musicians!
Side note: Out of curiosity, can anyone id the pedal on the far right of the board (The white/cream colored one with one knob)? It looks really familiar but I can't put my finger on it...

    •  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Looks like Lovepedal Cot50

@ That's gotta be it! I've never owned that pedal, but I know someone who did and that lettering must have stuck with me haha

Wonderful playing and commentary -- but I miss the drumming excellence of the great Dave King. To hear the three of them together is a true joy, so by all means buy the "Squint" album!

I think the look accompanies their joyful human nature and incredible brain size perfectly. It's no coincidence that he reminds people of Abe. ;-)
