Hi! Thank you so much for making these videos! I'm auditioning Thursday at Walt Disney World and I am nervous but also very excited. Seeing this as well as "Confessions of a Retired Disney Princess" have given me the confidence to go!!!
I love your videos so much! I know I'll probably never be a princess at disney due to certain features that I have, but your videos still inspire me to do what I love, & remind me that work can be fun. Thank you so much
This summer I'm auditioning for a small company that does disney face characters for parties and I can't wait. I've been doing theater my entire life and I adore Disney. The plan is to be a part of the Disney College Program and be a part time face character as Snow White or Belle. You channel is really helping me better prepare so I can make my dream a reality within the next couple years.
I would love to audition as belle when I'm a little older! She is the one I look most like, and relate to most personality wise. I've been planning on taking dance classes again for a while as I love to dance and I think this video might be the final push for me to do it! This was such a great video, thank you!
Amazing video! Thank you so much. I was hired as a face character performer and my debut day is next Saturday. I've been waiting for this opportunity for years. I just want to thank you for all of the helpful advice. It has made me feel more confident and prepared.
I'm planning on majoring in musical theatre and I'm going to audition for a character right after I graduate high school next year. I'm so excited to audition. I work princess parties right now to try and get as much experience as possible. I'm definitely going for Snow White cause she is my favorite princess and I look so much like her. It's been my dream to work at Disney ever since I was little. So thank you so much for all your advice it has given me so much more confidence.
Thanks for all the tips! Working for Disney as a face character is a dream of mine. Next month I'm applying for the DCP and I plan to do Character auditions. I do theatre now and my college and absolutely love it.
shannonshaffer That is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!! if you ever upload any of your films to TH-cam, please share! xo I wish you the best and I hope to see your films in theaters someday!
i'm planning to move down to orlando with my two good friends when i turn 18 to audition for the disney face character cast. my friends are both older than me by 2 and 3 years, but we've made a pact to stay with the others when we turn 18 and audition as many times as we can! i'm very excited for the opportunity because i already love disney. last year, i performed at disney with my choir and had a fairly long solo. it was fun, but torturous because it was mid-may and we had to wear all black layered clothing :(
I've been dancing since 1st grade (I'm a senior now) and I go to a performing arts school. I also work for a business as a princess and I make appearances at birthday parties, cooperate events, etc. All of my experiences have really helped me feel confident about my future audition for the DCP. I can't wait!!! Jennifer, I love love love ALL your videos!! (Btw did you get a new camera? Your image quality looks amazing, maybe it's the lighting, or maybe you are just especially glowing in this particular video!! Either way it looks great)
When I'm older I might move to America and audition for being a Disney character. I have been doing dance and acting classes for 4 years now and I'm not planning to stop.
So I'm going to be majoring in nursing, yet a huge passion of mine is performing, especially when that performance makes people smile! It's a dream to perform for Disney in some form, and I'm hoping once I graduate I'll at least get the opportunity to audition. I love watching your videos and hearing your stories!
thank you so much for sharing, Emily! best wishes in nursing.. my dad was in the nursing field for years.. thanks also for watching! uploading a new video soon, hope you'll watch! xo
I'm a freshman in high school right now and I'm very interested in being a Disney performer when I'm a little older! I live in the northern U.S., but I'd move to Florida or be on a cruise ship! I've taken dance for 12 years, theatre when I can, and have natural singing and acting talents! Most of my friends say I resemble Ariel, belle and snow white but I can do any character! I really want to audition when I'm older :)
How important do you think hair color/ eye color are when auditioning? My sister in law recently got cast as Elsa in Disney World, and looking at her you wouldn't think she could play Elsa. She went in thinking she had the best shot at Belle. She has natural brown eyes and brown hair, but with contacts, full makeup and the wig she really does look like her. Do you think they focus more on eye color/hair color or overall face shape and features?
Alexia Nolte GREAT POINT! as you mentioned, I think they are able to see beyond the color of ones hair and eyes (to a certain extent!) someone like me is not going to be considered for Cinderella no matter what! lol.. my look is definitely Latina/ethnic.. the "dark/stern latin eyes", my rounded nose, my thick eyebrows.. the tint in my skin.. unless I get a nose job and wax down my brows.. even then... lol. I still get messages from dark skinned Latina girls wanting to be Ariel or Cinderella.. it's not going to happen for us. lol. My guess is this---your sister in law has a certain stance about her, a demeanor.. I'm willing to bet she has killer posture. Elsa is a Queen.. I'm willing to bet she has a bit of height to her, is she at least 5'6" to 5'8"?? .. with Belle, the height isn't so important, but with Elsa, it might make more of a difference, giving guests a feeling of an imposing figure. It might've been the look in her eye.. there had to have been something they were looking for.. I'm also willing to bet they need Elsa right now more than they need Belle.. there's a chance she'll get a approved as Belle in the future maybe?! never know.. I'd say overall face and features----when girls have some sort of "ethnic" look, like Pocahontas though.. they are usually quick to cast her in that role.. with Pocahontas, my features weren't a perfect match, but in the USA, finding girls who look like Pocahontas isn't super easy.. I personally think girls with a Philippino background, or a Hawaiian background look most like her, however, girls who look Hawaiian aren't plentiful in Orlando.. and if they don't show up to audition, then they aren't going to be cast.. instead, it'll go to the girls who have the dark hair and dark eyes, since we're the closest resemblance.. though I did see a girl with green eyes portraying Pocahontas recently, but she also does Jasmine, so.. that's another thing, when you're Jasmine, you often double as Pocahontas, lol. It's complicated. lol. Generally, for overall features trumps eye color. lol. Also, for the girls wanting to be Tiana, they tend to prefer darker skinned girls.. there are often girls who are half white, half black who get upset because they aren't cast as Tiana.. they might have her features, but they aren't "dark enough," so that's something to be considered. Hope this helps! Often times, you won't know unless you just audition. xo
I've heard of friends of Mulan doubling as Pocahontas. Did other Mulans ever play Pocahontas while you were doubling as Jasmine and Pocahontas? I find that interesting because the three of them look quite different (I'm sorry if this has been asked before)!
I love this advice! Im going to Seton Hill University for Musical Theatre. I have trained with Pittsburgh CLO since I was 9. I highly reccomend that place to anyone who lives near Pittsburgh, it changed my life. Singing, acting and dancing are my favorite things to do and I hope one day I can use my talents and work for Disney! You and Rachel are both such awesome inspirations for me! Thank you for making so many wonderful videos!
Tasha Matthews thank you for your super awesome comment, this is so sweet and I think this will hopefully help girls in your area who are wondering where they can go for training! xo BEST WISHES to you!
My audition for Disney is tomorrow. Not freaking out yet, and your video certainly helped soothe any nerves I might have had! Thank you for the encouragement and advice :)
It went fine, though I didn't make it past the first part ( the face look over) of the audition process. I suppose I wasn't what they were looking for at that audition. That by no means indicates that you shouldn't go for it and audition. You could very well be what they are looking for you :)
awwwwwwwww Cat! I miss you too! I had a blast and you were the sweetest ever! I'm so glad we finally got to hang out and meet. 😄 Feel free to email me anytime on Gmail too!
I'm majoring in Early Childhood Education but in high school, i was in theater for three years. I'm really hoping one day i could go out and audition for Princess Jasmine part.
Hi Jennifer! I found your videos a few ago. I loved watching your princess confessions and your love store. I've been devouring your videos they are so fun to watch. :) I was wondering if you could do a video on Florida? What it's like to live there. I would really like to move to florida one day. Maybe when I'm done with college. I want to to closer to Disney World ;) I'm just curious what florida is like for people who live there. Do you like it? What do you not like about it? Thanks so much! Also I love learning about you and your little family. Any videos where you take about life. Would be fun to watch :) Or more vlogs those are great. Thanks for listening to me. You are becoming one of my favorite people to watch on youtube. Love you!
Ariinya Your comment has literally made my night! LOL thank you so much for this comment and the great video ideas you've said! I would love to talk more about Florida life! It's interesting because soooo many people I've worked with at Disney are from other states and they have moved specifically to Orlando to live near Disneyworld. It's pretty interesting. Thank you for your encouragement! it really means a lot! hugs to you!
Hey Jennifer! So I am actually a music performance major on piano :) oh so I just interviewed a week ago for the disney college program!!! Waiting to hear back from them, but wish me luck! And who knows if I do work there I could get you some sweet discounts haha 👍
Dreams+Disney yes, Disney has the best discounts for cast members/College program folk! that's awesome that you're into piano! It's probably my husband's favorite instrument! super classy! that's great! best wishes w/Disney INDEED! xo
Thanks Jennifer! I just found out Friday that I got accepted into the Disney college program for attractions starting in the fall. I'm sooo excited. Who knows? Maybe I'll see you there :P It would be awesome to meet you :)
Thank you for this video. I'm known at my college as the Disney girl and I do the Abbey Players which is our drama program and I have been rejected it hurts. Your videos are helping me prepare for auditioning for the Disney College Program. Good to know about the red lipstick because I have the porceline doll skin. :)
Alanna Tremblay yes, rejection hurts! hugs to you! I feel you girl! I'm so glad you feel these videos are helping! I hope so! Yay for red lipstick! rock it! xo
I act, sing, and play clarinet. I also did color guard my senior year, but I wasn't that great. It was mostly just for experience. I really hope someday I can be a Disney Princess at Disneyland. :D
Katelyn Willis that's awesome you're into the arts! I hope you can also be a Disney princess if it's something you really want for yourself! I wish you the very best! xo
Hi Jennifer! Any advice for a Disney audition veteran? I've been to 9 Disney auditions and have made it through to the final round for most of them! I've been called back to sing for Jasmine in the Aladdin show twice and would really like to play the part! Maybe the 3rd time's the charm? :) Anyways, just wondering if you have any thoughts on what I might be missing. Being a Disney princess has always been one of my hopes, and I'm a big believer in "dreams do come true," but after 9 auditions, I'm wondering if it will ever happen!
Your videos are so helpful! I'm 5ft 0 and have a body type like tinkerbell. I know how to pick up choreography through being a cheerleader and a gymnast, and I plan on taking dance classes at my college to get ready for DCP character auditions! Do you know of anything specific for tinkerbell face character that I might want to work on?
How many times did you have to try out for a face character before you got the role of jasmine and I'm really not trying to sound offensive but what would be the tone of princess jasmine and Pocahontas?
A lot of people say that I resemble Cinderella naturally but I perform as Anna on a regular basis (hence my current picture). I am an experienced dancer, I've taken acting classes for around 4 years and I'm intending on auditioning over spring break. What are some things that you can recommend for someone who resembles Cinderella but has lots of experience as Anna? I love both princesses.
Hi Jennifer! I'm a huge fan to start off with, I think you are so pretty and tell your daughter hi for me! I was curious as to If they ever need Disney princesses to sing, Ive been told multiple times that when I sing I sound like rapunzel, Anna, Ariel, and belle (depending upon the song) and that I resemble Anna, rapunzel and Ariel (as long as I have a red wig of course). Thanks!
Allison Duck Hey Allison! I was always told never to sing when I was doing meet n greets (in lines with guests).. some people who did have vocal talent disregarded this rule though and sang anyway, haha, I can think of one Aladdin I worked with in particular who had a great Aladdin singing voice and he used it ALLL the time regardless of what management thought, haha, he did it when managers weren't around. :) Guests always LOOOVED it... this made it awkward for me though because then the guests would look to me next to him, expecting me to sing, but I always had to make up an excuse like, "Oh, Jafar cast a spell on my voice!" I didn't want to ruin my Aladdin's beautiful song and ruin the magic with a terrible singing voice! haha, and that's why they have the rule of no singing.. because then if they meet Belle and she sings, but then they see her the next day at another park (different girl) and she can't sing, then there is no consistency.. and not all singing voices are the same.. so they reserve the singing characters for the stage shows, and that's a separate audition for singing roles.. they pay MUCH higher than what the average princess gets and you would be on a stage singing for guests instead of meeting them and signing autographs. You can check the Disney website to see when they hold auditions for vocal talent. I hope you're cast in those roles! They are much more prestigious! Best wishes and hugs!
Jennifer Oakes thank you so much! after I graduate this year I'm auditioning to be a princess, and you have beyond inspired me! I have never wanted anything so badly and it's people like you who have given me the courage! I will continue to be one of your biggest fans!
my mom told me today that when I'm old enough I should try out to be a Disney princess because it would be a fun acting challenge and I want to be an actress but I don't really resemble a Disney character that much I probably look the most like Ariel but I'm too short I maybe could be Wendy, Alice in Wonderland, or Tinkerbell
Hi! I've heard it said that you never get to pick which character you are? Is this true? I know they have wigs and everything so that you will look like the princess and not your natural self. Do you have a better shot at getting a certain princess if you look like them? Thanks, Agglitterstudios Edit: I was just a bit confused, because based on what I've read, the princess situation is strange. For example, I have long, wavy brown hair and bright blue eyes. I know Belle has brown eyes, but I think that I resemble her the most. Could I still become a princess (if I get castes) that looks totally different than my natural features?
No you do not get to choose what Princess or Princesses you'll portray. (They can make you 2 or 3) Even if you resemble a certain princess, you can be cast as a different princess that you don't even look like.
Hi lovely! I am going in my sophomore year of high school and I wanted to ask you a quick question! Would you recommend wearing fake lashes to the audition? I am 5'7 and I know I am still going to grow since I'm only 14 going on 15 lol! I have pale skin, very light brown eyes, and dark black hair! I am thinking I resemble very closely to the Evil Queen and maybe Cruella. I often go to Disneyland since I live in LA and visit these characters often and I notice the villain friends have very long accentuated lashes! So because of this would you recommend for me to wear them to the audition in around two years? I have been watching your videos since I was 11 and you inspire me to continue training for this dream job! Thanks for all you do!
Hey Jennifer! Love your vids, was just wondering if it helps if you can sing, because my voice teachers have told me I have a very Disney-Esque tone when I sing, and was wondering if that would help me out at all. Thanks!
I'm in my high school color guard. We do ballet exercises and perform for large groups of people. Is that something that would count as performance experience? Could that help me with the dances and animation?
I was also thinking the same thing, although mine is directly above my top lip so I think mine would matter 😂😬 luckily I'm planning on getting it removed so no worries!
Yasmin Marcelo OMG! Don't you dare give up on your dreams It's my dream to I don't have freckles and but think about it Alice tinker bell and Merida And more And if you don't wanna Be one of them There makeup crew will make it WOAH YOUR A NEW PERSON!
+Maddie10 FilmersGamer Rapunzel also has freckles, I have brown hair, brown eyes but I think I look the most like her, I have freckles and big eyes and I think if I wore green contacts and a wig to be her I would look the most like her out of the princesses!
Most of the time you just carry your bag around. Before you do the actual audition they'll tell you to either put it to the side or out of the way. I always have to bring a bag with me to have my medical supplies and I've never had an issue.
Hi there! Im going to a parade performer audition in a couple weeks, but I'm actually hoping I get pulled for fur/face character..have you heard of disney doing that at an audition even though thats not technically what they're looking for?
Hi Jennifer I could use your help please: Which princess would I fit the best as I have: Blue eyes Blonde/light brown hair Pale skin with faint freckles I am 5'7 Thanks
Olivia Allen It's hard to say without seeing your physical features, because many girls have these physical traits as well, but they don't necessarily resemble the cartoon character. It's important to remember that just because someone doesn't look like the cartoon doesn't mean they're not beautiful. There's soo many types of girls who are beautiful, not just ones that resemble a cartoon. But with what you listed, those are most closely associated with Aurora, Ariel, Merida, Cinderella, Anna, Elsa, and perhaps another one or two I may be forgetting.. I've seen girls who look nothing like the princess outside of costume, but when you get them in full makeup, and wig, costume, it's a complete transformation. They go more based off of shapes of eyes and nose, bone structure, that sort of thing. Because hair color is easily changed.. and light freckles are totally fine. The last Ariel I met had a ton of freckles.. as did Anna and Merida and I've met many Cinderellas with faint freckles too. Best wishes!
I have a tattoo on my hip that goes above my belly button just below my rib cage. I'm a very pale girl with dark hair so I feel like the most chance I'd have with a princess would be Snow White, Belle, or Elsa. Would it impact my chance of getting the job because of how high my tattoo goes?
Hay Jennifer! I was wonder how important height is for a character like Jasmine? I think my features are accurate for her role but I’m quite short, only 4’11. I’m in California near Disney land. Thank you!!
Thanks for the useful tips!! Got one more question tho. You said that you should ask for feedback and try to work on it. What if they just say you don't look like any of the princesses...?
EmmP3 LOL! ay yi yi! this is a very REAL possibility. That's when I would "try to find a new dream." I do believe there is a time to let go.. and that would be a time. There are dozens of beautiful and successful movie stars out there who do not look like any of the princesses.. Kiera Knighly for example.. she's gorgeous, but is she Cinderella? Anna? or even Belle? Perhaps Belle, but her face shape seems a tad off.. does she let the fact she might not be cast as a Disney princess stop her? absolutely not! she still went out and made a name for herself. I would then have other aspirations and dreams outside of the Disney princess dream.. it's important to have other career goals anyway, even if you are cast, because the job only lasts as long as you look young.. once you begin to look "more mature" than the average girls working there, then.. they cut you out of those roles and you're relegated to fur characters.. and if that's not what you want to do for a living, is be a fur character, then you need to have a backup plan. xo hope this helps! xo
hey Jennifer! I was just wondering... i know the earrings are clip-on so it doesn't matter if you have your ears pierced. but what if I was cast for someone like wendy alice or tinkerbell? they don't wear earrings. did you know any girls that had their ears pierced and were tinkerbell, alice, etc? thanks!
lost girl ♡ yeah, they had them pierced but nobody said anything, you just keep your earrings out.. if I'm not mistaken the wigs hide a lot, and the characters are so engaging that the guests don't focus on ear piercings, you just have to really engage the guests when you're performing. It all works out. :)

my biggest question is whether or not the wigs are uncomfortable... i've always wondered this and i don't know if anyone has thought to ask it before :)
Tilly Lewis lol! wow! Neck problems?! the Princess Jasmine wig was the heaviest of all the girls I knew.. (it was two wigs in one!) and I never had neck problems.. but I did have a hard time keeping it on sometimes during the crazy sweaty summer heat when I used to be outside at Epcot and MK. LOL! I can see people getting neck problems from the fur character costumes super, super easily though! I used to have stiff neck after Pluto, it really requires some good upper body strength, I always felt guys had it easier in the fur outfits than the girls because they usually had good upper body strength, also each morning we were required to do a mini workout to help get rid of those types of problems for that very reason (some of the costumes are indeed heavy!).. I believe the exercises helped a great deal.
zoë dodson Hey Zoe! I can only speak for myself, but the wigs were never uncomfortable for me. :) We all used wig caps underneath to protect our real hair and then simply pinned the wigs on.. Jasmine usually required 4-6 high quality pins.. 2-3 of those pins were especially long towards the base of the wig and at the top of my wig I used some special double sided tape.. It was wonderful stuff and worked super well to keep it in place.. only during the super sweaty heat of summer did keeping that wig on become a challenge, but that was only during July/August.. the rest of the year I was pretty good. :) It wasn't too heavy at all, though it did feel long.. between the Jasmine and the Pocahontas wig, it gave me a wonderful sense of what it must feel like to have super long hair that goes down to your waist.. If only it was my reality!!! xoxoxo
Hey, it's me creeping again! Really quick question, every time I go to Disney World...I never see the Princes, just the princesses for Meet-and-greets...when is the best time to meet the princes? Or do they even do Meet-and-greet. I know Aladdin and Gaston (even though he isn't a prince) does them, but that's all I can recall. I always see on Instagram people meeting princes, could that be because it's Disneyland perhaps?
Hey, I'm not Jennifer and I don't really know much other than that they have the princesses meet and greet with their princes on Valentine's Day (but that's just been, and I'm sure you'd rather not wait a whole year!). Anyway hope you find another day you can go see those dashing fellows ;)
Lana Small agreed! I was going to say the same as you! I actually never met a prince Phillip the entire time I worked there.. haha, five years! I only ever saw Prince Eric once!! (One of my Aladdins doubled as him) I also saw Prince Charming but only during the parades when we'd be getting ready .. really the only time I ever saw princes was getting ready in the cosmetology room for parades or shows.. :( total bummer, they sooo need them more often!
Leydi Morales Hey Leydi! I pretty much had the same answer as Lana, I mentioned to her how the only time I really ever saw the other characters were getting ready in the cosmetology room for parades/shows... they never ever went out for sets.. only on like she said, Valentine's day.. one of my Aladdins was in the tunnels dressed as Prince Eric (he did both characters) and it was exciting for me to see him that way (he was great as both characters) but I wish I could've seen him with Ariel on set.. they really need to do that more often! It might've been in Disneyland or even Tokyo Disney.. or even Paris. It's a good question! xo
i have a mole right on the crease of my nose and on my forehead would that be okay i still have 4 years untill i can audition i have 9 years of dance experience and im in the jouner varsity acting class at my high school but im not good at singing would i be able to make a face character?
+Kelsey♡dancer ooooo.. that's a great question! I'd have to see the mole to give you a better answer.. casting can be picky about that sort of thing, especially if it's very noticeable, because they won't want guests to say, "Hey, Cinderella didn't have that mole there.." but if it's easy to hide with makeup, then they might not care. They don't care about singing unless you're specifically auditioning to be a character who sings, such as Ariel at the Hollywood Studios show, however, most of the Ariels that guests meet and take photos with do not sing at all. Hope this helps! xo
I was on the varsity dance team, did 8 years of ballet and sing. I'm just worried because I have brown eyes but don't resemble any brown eyed princesses. Also I do not have perfect teeth, they aren't bad but definitely not perfect.
I've been looking at the Jasmine characters and find that they are not very dark. Actually, quite pale. I'm quite dark because I am of Indian ethnicity. I a have an audition in 2 weeks. I hope they choose me.
Sumaya Mozumder PLEASE TELL management you want to be considered as Jasmine... from what I hear, and this could all be just a rumor, but they tend to prefer to cast girls who are Caucasian and not very dark.. it depends on who is in management and what their vision for Jasmine is, in my opinion, it's difficult for casting to find girls who are "dark enough" but also who speak with an American accent.. the American accent is key. If a girl who looks a lot like Jasmine comes in with a thick ethnic accent but a lighter skinned girl who might be able to portray Jasmine comes in and speaks with the American accent, they will give it to the girl with the American accent. It's something to keep in mind.
Would you have to have green eyes or wear green contacts in order to be Rapunzel because my eyes are blue but I have blonde hair, blue eyes, freckles and I'm the correct height! Thank you xoxo
Unfortunately though you do not get to choose which character you're cast as, you could know nothing about the film beauty and the beast and think you look nothing like her but be cast as Belle, it's completely up to them unfortunately...
Hey Jennifer I love your videos! I am most definitely going to try out for Disney when I'm older. I hope to be Wendy, belle, or possibly rapunzel. The only thing that's making my worried is the fact that when I smile, my teeth don't show like most princess's do. Is that bad?
I am half Arab and half Celtic, so I can get a good tan, have dark eyes, but I have freckles. Do you think this could go against me getting picked for anyone? Because I know I'm too dark for any of the freckled characters :P. Also, I have always felt that my style and personality is more Snow White, like I love bows and lipstick, and I love the fact that she's so kind and happy. However, I know that I'm not white enough for her and my obvious option would be Jasmine because Arab :(. Is there any chance they may still take me on despite this?
Is Disney more willing to hire someone if they know that they have dancing or acting experience? Also, does figure skating count with all of that? I'm a competitive figure skater, and I also take some ballet classes specifically designed for skaters.... Also, would it hurt or help me if my twin sister also auditions? (Sorry for so many questions in one comment. but thank you so much for your wonderful videos!)
BBskatertwins thanks for commenting! I believe Disney is more willing to hire people with dance experience (even more so than acting, however, I think acting is very helpful!!!!) with the dance experience, I think figure skating would probably still count, especially if you have that ballet background, because what it comes down to is being able to learn the choreography.. so many times they would check to see if my coordination had improved, lol.. (I should've been taking dance while I was there but with school and work I felt like I never had time, but girls who had the background of dance didn't have to worry, because it was like second nature to them to learn the dance routines they taught)... but if you can be taught choreographed dance routines---that is the key!!! I would see the instructor do ten moves super fast and then be expected to repeat that routine.. I couldn't do it! I could barely remember how they did the first couple steps.. it wasn't just a move of the leg, they used their whole body, hands, arms.. it's a lot of coordination involved.. so that's something I imagine you learn with figure skating.. hand placement, all that stuff. Being confident. Having that control over your body.. it truly is an art/skill. it wouldn't hurt to have a twin sister also audition at all! if you're both cast it's a win win! I knew 2 Snow Whites who were cousins and they looked sooo much alike.. they were both great! Hope this comment helps! xo
I am too young to audition for a princess, but if I would I would hint at being Rapunzel because I have a personality like her. :) How many tries did it take you? btw youre beautiful! thanks for the tips too ♥
Thanks again for the video Jennifer! I have a question about the audition...sorta. I know you have to bring a head shot and resume. Can you have a head shot of you with blue contacts and got into the audition with brown eyes? That way they don't only see you as a character with brown eyes and can consider you for more options....or would that kinda be cheating?
DisneyDiva93 Hey! quick question, where did you hear you needed to have a headshot and resume??? the only time you need a headshot to my knowledge is for equity type roles at Disney.. such as the ones who are auditioning for stage shows, the Ariel who sings, for example.. when I auditioned we didn't use headshots.. is this something new?? the only time I've ever used headshots/resumes are for when I've auditioned for television or film... but if this is new that Disney requires headshots, then I'd suggest bringing two headshots.. one as yourself with brown eyes and the other with yourself as blue eyes.. let them decide which version of you they prefer from there.. one of the pet peeves a lot of casting directors have is that their actors don't look like their headshots, but again, I just can't imagine Disney asking girls to bring headshots.. they are very into seeing you up close and personal.. they always inspected me even after I was cast.. every 6 months I used to have to go to a special office and speak with the casting directors.. they wanted to be sure I had no gained weight, that I didn't get tattoos or piercings.. and that I still was up to the Disney standard. And in between those six month visits with the casting directors, I would regularly be looked at by management for the same exact reasons.. they would come visit me on set to make sure I was performing up to a Disney standard.. they would come unannounced and often I never saw or knew that they were watching until after my shift was over and they would come to the dressing room with a clipboard full of notes that they took and they would lecture the Aladdin and I.. lol.. "Jasmine make sure you're not bending at the waist.. be sure to act more princess like.." or "You did wonderful! We loved how you handled the little girl who was too afraid to meet you! You and Aladdin looked so in love! Keep up the good work!" things like that.. it's hard for me to imagine that they'd place any weight on a headshot.. that's more something for television or film or Disney stage shows for equity.. but again, they might've changed things??! let me know!
Oh, well I've seen many videos from girls who auditioned at Disney to be princesses and my aunt(who works at Disney) sent me a full packet of tips and the audition experience that she got from one of the cast members and they all talk about a head shot with a resume on the back. I guess whether they want one or not, I might as well bring one just in case, better safe than sorry. But I would ask around and see if they say the same things I said. Also, I wanted to let you know that I recently got to perform my first dance routine to Frozen's Let It Go! If you'd like I can send you the video? It was so much fun and I really got to portray Elsa!
Hey! I am planning to go to a disneyland paris audition in england in the coming week, but one of the specificationns was to refrain from wearing makeup! I understand as they need to see your natural look clearly in order to pair you up as a certain characters, but I'd feel alot more princessy and confident if i had a bit of mascara to widen my eyes and some balm to keep my lips soft and pink, what would you recommend I do? Xxx
Pink fluff I've done the Paris audition in London and am going again on the 22nd. I and many of the other girls go with natural makeup, last time I wore concealer, mascara and pink tinted Vaseline on my lips. I don't know if you've heard of it, but there's a channel called ThatDisneyLover and she talks about the England auditions in alot of detail, I found them very useful before my 1st audition. Hope this is useful! Good luck :)
Carys Stubbs thank you ever so much angel you are a life saver! How did you find the enlgish auditions??? I'm quite nervous and not sure what to expect!! Yes I live off rosy vaseline, isnt it great?? Thanks again, and good luck! ! Xxx
Glad I could help :) I find the English ones fun and everyone's really nice. The casting people are friendly and you can talk to pretty much any of the other people auditioning cuz we're all there for the same thing at the end of the day, we want to work for Disney! We're all as excited and nervous as one another. People are all different heights and ages and varying levels of experience. The queue gets pretty long from about 9.30, last time just under 200 people showed up for that one audition day! 1st you fill in a few forms, they then measure you and then they do a presentation about the Disney job and contracts and housing and stuff. Then it's the animation round where you have to show what you can do as a fur character (cowboy, pirate, dwarf, villain, princess, yourself) then if you pass that theres a dance round, but there's some contracts that don't involve dance so dont worry if dance isn't your thing, Then you either get a dance contract, go get into wig and make up or are cut. If you are cut they're nice about it and say to try again. Sorry, I know that's really long, but hope it helps somewhat :) x
Carys Stubbs Thank you! no its fine the more the better so thank you for letting me know :) I watched the other girl's videos like you suggested, and although she is super helpful I cant help feeling like she's quite negative (maybe a case of sour grapes??) have you noticed? haha! I was most worried about the dancing round and had visions of competing against like 500 people so thank you thats made me alot more confident knowing everyones lovely and its nice and relaxed :) I'm most worried about the dancing round but Im just gonna smile and enjoy myself, I cant do any better than that :) Xxx
Glad you found it useful. I hadn't really noticed she was negative tbh, I think she's just trying to be matter of fact and informative :) dance round is also the one I'm most nervous about but you don't have to be a dancer for all the contracts. I think so long as you keep smiling and you put alot of energy into everything you should be fine :) I'm completely buzzing for the audition now though and getting on prepping my animation routine (pays to be prepared) What day you going? xx
hey jennifer! i am super tall, roughly 6'1 to be exact, are there any characters you can think of that a girl of my stature could be cast as? love your videos, thank you!
Hmmmmmmmmmm... that's a tough one! I'd leave that up to casting, but I would still audition if that were the case because you just never know!!! It's not over til the fat lady sings as they say. ;)
PLEASE ANSWER MY QUESTION, I have tried finding the answer on google but nothing relative came up. I'm 18 years old and really considering auditioning in 2017. However, my skin tone is a caramel/olive colour, I have a natural tan, not as dark skinned as Princess Tiana, but not as fair as Snow white. I'm wondering whether not having fair skin, means I won't be considering for playing roles like sleeping beauty or Cinderella. I feel like the only princess I could pull of is Tiana but I'm no where near as dark skinned. Does this mean my chances of resembling a princess are slim? I would really appreciate it if you could answer thanks so much :)
Hey girl! I really need to see a pic! it's hard for me to imagine what you look like.. but based on what you've written, I would say go and audition without expecting anything.. go for the experience.. go to get an idea of what casting thinks of you.. go to learn on ways to improve for your next audition.. are you mixed race?! Do you have dance experience?! thanks for watching my channel!
Jennifer Oakes I am so so grateful that you have replied! Thank you so much. I have just sent you a direct message on Instagram with a few pictures! I have got drama and dance experience I've been in plays since I was about 6! I've set my heart on working at Disney, being a princess would be my dream but I think just getting hired is what I want most!!! Thanks again for replying, love and magic to you x
I wore glasses! but for the character, I wore contacts since neither Pocahontas nor Jasmine wore contacts in their films. :D best wishes! xo and thanks for watching!
Hi! I read somewhere that when you work at disney you have to live with 1 or 2 other disney workers in an apartment owned by disney or something? Is this true, or is it perhaps just a certain group? And if it is true, what does their policy say about pets? Sorry, lots of questions, but I don't find the answers anywhere!
raisethesoprano OOOOoooh, great question.. when you work at Disney you can live off property.. I was married and lived with my husband.... I think it's only the College Program/International program who this applies to.. they do have to live in a Disney apartment. I don't know what their policy says about pets, I don't think people really have any.. I'm not sure though. Have you watched any TH-cam videos on college program? I'm hoping to do a collab this summer with someone about Disney's college program. :) You can also search about it on the official Disney website. :)
That's really helpful! I didn't find anything about it on their site.. I'll check out the college program as well, thanks! And if you do a collab, could you please ask them if they know about the living/pet situation? :)
would it be best to try to cover my dark freckles on my face before the audition??? also would you recommend wearing the same color as your desired character? how much does the color of your eyes impact who you get cast as???
Even though I've never seen them hire anyone younger than age 19, it doesn't mean it can't happen. I heard a rumor that they were going to be hiring girls age 16+, though since I don't work for the company anymore I can't say for sure. Regardless, have fun auditioning, I wouldn't stress out about it really until you were finally closer to the age range that most of the girls currently working are. Be sure to prepare as much as you can so that you're as confident as you can be when the time comes to audition. xo
hi jennifer i just had one question do they teach you how they want you to sign like the character you are or do you just makeup your own way and if so how long did it take you to learn how to sign like jasmine and how often did you practice it thank you :)
I know that working as a Disney princess is difficult for me, because I do speak English but I have a Spanish accent. But my dream is to work as a costume designer for Disney, I am currently a fashion design student so that would be possible :)
Silvia Snow that's amazing! yes, costume design is a HUGE part of the Disney magic, HUGE! They are coming out with a new "Latina Princess" from what I heard, but I'm not aware of her accent, it's hard I know! I knew a girl who wanted to be cast as Pocahontas soo bad, she was Latina and looked a lot like her! however she had a very thick accent and I remember how upset she was for not getting cast even though she looked more like Pocahontas than any of the girls working there at the time, including me! She could have worked to learn how Pocahontas spoke, as most of the best actors in Hollywood like Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman, have learned to speak with an American accent, but I guess she didn't think she had the ability to learn the American accent. I believe if we work hard to achieve something then we can eventually reach our goal! but maybe not everyone wants to learn to speak with a different dialect/accent. It's something to consider though! xo
I've been thinking for a couple days and I'll try to improve my English so I can work at a Disney Park! It would be great to work at as a face character for a few months or taking a gap year. And when I finish college I'll try to get into the costume design area :) That would be perfect! A dream come true! Thank you for your inspiration!
Do they discriminate people who wear glasses? Or do they accept you as long as you have contacts or something? And also, would they accept you if you just came out of college and not high school? As an example, would you be accepted (if they like you) if you were 21 years old while auditioning?Just curious. :)
Hello, I'd like to do the auditions for face character in Disneyland Paris, but I think I have three things that will immediately rule me out: some moles on my face and body, a tattoo on the forearm (many princesses have gloves, but could exclude me regardless ) and I'm 28 years old ... I know that the biggest princesses are 26 or 27 years old ... do you think it's useless to try? Thanks in advance :)
I have lots of freckles...I am still young (13) so they might go away but do you think that this would matter? There are some very high coverage foundations out there so that may cover it up haha. Thanks
Emma Hughes lots of Disney princesses have freckles, have hope! Don't let freckles stop you! (Think of Princess Anna & Merida!) :) (also, many Ariels that are cast have freckles) :)
Thanks so much for all the tips and advices! If I look like a character enough and I have a considerable background in performing, but my height isn't exactly what was preferred, would that hurt me much or at all? Thanks! Much love and more power to your channel! 💋
+Yasmin Marcelo I think it would depend on how off the person's height was. For example, if someone wanted to be Cinderella and had everything going for them, but they were 5'2", it would probably be a deal breaker because the dresses they have in costuming aren't made for someone with that height. Also, the other girls portraying that character are of similar height to help maintain a look of similarity, keeping things "the same, " so if you see Cinderella Saturday and she's tall, then Sunday, she's short? They don't really like that, it sort of screams, "this is a different girl".. so they hire girls with similar height in a certain role too. Hope that helps.
+Jennifer Oakes thanks for answering! And sorry for a follow up question, I may be getting too chatty/curious 🙈). Because I have Filipino features, I got numerous comments about looking like Jasmine or Mulan. I have read the preferred height in the Disney parks' website, but many say that there are exceptions. Would you say that 5'0 is a deal breaker to be Jasmine or Mulan? I realize that my height might still work for a pixie character, but as for the other two princesses, I have my doubts. Thanks again for taking the time!!!
Hello +Jennifer Oakes, I have a quick question if you are in college could you still audition? What is age besides 18 that Disney is looking for? or what is the age range?
Awesome video thanks so much! I'm auditioning at Disneyland Paris tomorrow and I think I most resemble Snow White so these tips have really helped me. I'm a trained dancer too so this makes me feel pretty OK about the process. THANK YOU!!
what about scars? I'm about to be 17 and I just got bit in the face by a dog. It's by my lip and I can't fully cover it up but I can make it not as noticeable as it would be with makeup.
I know this question is old, and that I'm not Jennifer, but I do have an answer! Unfortunately no identifiable marks are acceptable on princesses. Just like a scar or a mole, if a little girl met Belle one day and met her again the next (with a different girl) and one of those girls had a scar and the other didn't, it would be confusing and remove the magic. Try scar removers and continue to work on covering it up! That is a bummer!
I have a quick question, I plan on going to an audition where they are looking for female character look-alikes from the movies: "Aladdin, Princess and the Frog, Moana, (and) Elena of Avalor." It is sort of a long shot or "waste of time" for me to go to this because I'm very pale? Thanks for the help 😊
There's such thing as spray tan! 😉 don't let that get you down, Disney hire all sorts of people from black to white and I'm sure if you're like me and very pale like you said then you can always soak up the Rays whilst you're there if you're not so happy with spray tan and wait to see if you can get a real one!
Toni Calderon Hey Toni! girls cast as Pocahontas varied in height, when I worked, I saw girls as short as 5'4"cast, all the way to girls as tall as 5'8".. you do dance at the audition, but I didn't wear jazz shoes, neither did I see anyone who did. :)
I auditioned for a character performer on the Disney Cruise Line and made it all the way through. They said if we get chosen we will get a call in July... July is almost over now. Should I take that as I didn't get the job?
Emma Gardner oh wow----that is soo different from what auditions are like in the USA. Did you hear that somewhere or did they actually tell you this? If that's their rule then I would wear concealer at the very least, to cover my under eyes.. haha, I can tend to have darker under eyes and I would feel so unattractive going in without that. I'd also wear a little lip balm to moisten my lips, it would probably be tinted slightly to enhance the color. I think they just don't want to see people totally transforming their face?? not sure why they would ask that, especially if the job is going to require you in makeup every single day. haha, oh well. but yeah, I'd do something like that, the absolute minimum in cosmetics.. if for example you die going out in public without mascara, perhaps try a shade of mascara that matches your eyelash color, so instead of black, perhaps try a regular old brown color so it's much less noticeable, then maybe a lip balm and no concealer...It would vary face to face, person to person. I'd do my best to go very fresh faced. hope that helps!
As an improv performer , practice . Practice practice practice . If you can’t preform still after you gain experience , make a list of all the potential “ on the spot “ situations and a couple different ways to react to them
Hey Jennifer! I have a question. I am only 16 years old so I have time before I can audition. So I am interested in taking dance classes. What type of dance specifically should I take classes for?
I have my face character audition tomorrow! I'm super nervous!!
Thank you so much for all your help
Tess Hardie which Disney Princess are you
Hi! Thank you so much for making these videos! I'm auditioning Thursday at Walt Disney World and I am nervous but also very excited. Seeing this as well as "Confessions of a Retired Disney Princess" have given me the confidence to go!!!
Allison Burtoft I'm so glad! I wish you the best!
I'd love to audition for her but I look nothing like her plus I don't live in America or anywhere that has a Disney land.
Emily -Tube there are auditions in countries that don't have a Disneyland
Unfortunately you don't get to choose what character you're cast as though... I know, it sucks.
Amazing video! Thank you so much. I was hired as a face character performer and my debut day is next Saturday. I've been waiting for this opportunity for years. I just want to thank you for all of the helpful advice. It has made me feel more confident and prepared.
I loved this video, it made me a little less anxious about my DCP character performer audition in two weeks. :)
Jennifer Bush yay! I wish you the best!
I love your videos! And I'm going to major in film :)
shannonshaffer That is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!! if you ever upload any of your films to TH-cam, please share! xo I wish you the best and I hope to see your films in theaters someday!
i'm planning to move down to orlando with my two good friends when i turn 18 to audition for the disney face character cast. my friends are both older than me by 2 and 3 years, but we've made a pact to stay with the others when we turn 18 and audition as many times as we can!
i'm very excited for the opportunity because i already love disney. last year, i performed at disney with my choir and had a fairly long solo. it was fun, but torturous because it was mid-may and we had to wear all black layered clothing :(
I've been dancing since 1st grade (I'm a senior now) and I go to a performing arts school.
I love watching your videos and hearing your stories!
thank you so much for sharing, Emily! best wishes in nursing.. my dad was in the nursing field for years.. thanks also for watching! uploading a new video soon, hope you'll watch! xo
This is so helpful! Thank you!
Thank you for the encouragement and advice :)
foreversinging91 I know you posted this nine months ago. But I'm curious to ask how your audition went.
It went fine, though I didn't make it past the first part ( the face look over) of the audition process. I suppose I wasn't what they were looking for at that audition. That by no means indicates that you shouldn't go for it and audition. You could very well be what they are looking for you :)
watching your videos makes me miss you so much i wish we could revisit our meeting all over again because i just had so much fun!
awwwwwwwww Cat! I miss you too! I had a blast and you were the sweetest ever! I'm so glad we finally got to hang out and meet. 😄 Feel free to email me anytime on Gmail too!
Will do!!!
💕🙌😁
I have a birthday party princes audition tomorrow ! Fingers crossed ! I’m so nervous 💕😊
You are so inspirational💖
I love all your advice and hopefully someday I will be a disney princess
Xx
Matilda Gilles HUGS TO YOU! thank you for the sweet comment!
I'm majoring in Early Childhood Education but in high school, i was in theater for three years. I'm really hoping one day i could go out and audition for Princess Jasmine part.
I do dance/gymnastics classes and teach myself it! I really want to be a Disney princess or Wendy darling!!xx
I wish you the very best! xo
Thank you so much! It really means a lot to have your support!
+Katelyn Willis
hi there! i have a pretty extensive background singing wise; do you think that would help any? :) thanks a bunch!
You are amazing!! Thank you so much!!
This video was so great! Thanks for all the tips :D
My passion is dance! Though I am majoring in History at UCF ;)
Julia Bennett AWWWW! My husband came super close to majoring in history at UCF, that's cool! I hope you always dance! xo
+Hannah Carlisle You just never know! Have you taken any acting classes yet? that's a great start! xo
+Jennifer Oakes yeah I'm taking theatre right now and I'm probably going to take dance next year
maybe by the time you apply there will be more characters lol
When I grow up I want to be a Belle face character, can you tell me what they are like?
Hi! I've heard it said that you never get to pick which character you are? Is this true? I know they have wigs and everything so that you will look like the princess and not your natural self. Do you have a better shot at getting a certain princess if you look like them?
Thanks,
Agglitterstudios
Edit: I was just a bit confused, because based on what I've read, the princess situation is strange.
Oh! Also, are moles and freckles a minus to one's chances?
+Yasmin Marcelo nope! I have known my fair share of princesses who had both! 😊👑💞🙌
Also, a lot of princesses have moles and freckles. I think Anna has freckles.
When you go to an audition, what do you do with your bag/personal belongings?
Most of the time you just carry your bag around. Before you do the actual audition they'll tell you to either put it to the side or out of the way. I always have to bring a bag with me to have my medical supplies and I've never had an issue.
+Amanda Willis thank you!
Hi there! Im going to a parade performer audition in a couple weeks, but I'm actually hoping I get pulled for fur/face character..have you heard of disney doing that at an audition even though thats not technically what they're looking for?
Hi Jennifer I could use your help please:
Which princess would I fit the best as I have:
Blue eyes
Blonde/light brown hair
Pale skin with faint freckles
I am 5'7
Thanks
Thank you for informative video ❤️
@tracypetrowski181 I'm glad you enjoyed!! ❤️
How many people got cast when you got casted?
I have a tattoo on my hip that goes above my belly button just below my rib cage. I'm a very pale girl with dark hair so I feel like the most chance I'd have with a princess would be Snow White, Belle, or Elsa. Would it impact my chance of getting the job because of how high my tattoo goes?
Disney is coming to my dance studio in 2 weeks! I'm only 13 so I wouldn't go but I wish I could haha!
I would then have other aspirations and dreams outside of the Disney princess dream.. it's important to have other career goals anyway, even if you are cast, because the job only lasts as long as you look young.. once you begin to look "more mature" than the average girls working there, then.. they cut you out of those roles and you're relegated to fur characters.. and if that's not what you want to do for a living, is be a fur character, then you need to have a backup plan. xo hope this helps! xo
Beautifully put, thanks ^^
Hope it helps!
These days Disney is casting people who do not look like any of the princesses at all.
hey Jennifer!
It's a good question! xo
At the 1900 Park Fare character dinner at the Grand Floridian, they have Prince Charming walking around :)
i have a mole right on the crease of my nose and on my forehead would that be okay i still have 4 years untill i can audition i have 9 years of dance experience and im in the jouner varsity acting class at my high school but im not good at singing would i be able to make a face character?
They will give colored contacts, but I've heard they really look for bright white teeth
Hi! I have a question Do they admit girls from other countries who speak English fluently?
Would you have to have green eyes or wear green contacts in order to be Rapunzel because my eyes are blue but I have blonde hair, blue eyes, freckles and I'm the correct height! Thank you xoxo
YoungJusticeUK they will give you green contacts if you are casted as Rapunzel
Unfortunately though you do not get to choose which character you're cast as, you could know nothing about the film beauty and the beast and think you look nothing like her but be cast as Belle, it's completely up to them unfortunately...
Hey Jennifer I love your videos! I am most definitely going to try out for Disney when I'm older. I hope to be Wendy, belle, or possibly rapunzel. The only thing that's making my worried is the fact that when I smile, my teeth don't show like most princess's do. Is that bad?
Belle and Rapunzel are 5'3 - 5'7. Wendy is 5'2. You cannot be Wendy and Belle (For example) if you are not the right height.
:) How many tries did it take you? btw youre beautiful! thanks for the tips too ♥
Thank you so much!!!!! You are wonderful:)
Carolyn Pitt You are WONDERFUL YOURSELF! HUGS TO YOU beautiful Carolyn! I hope to see you working at Disney someday! xo
You could be Maleficent
I am planning on doing the disney college program, does anybody know whether u get into the college program or audition first?
As long as you've applied for the program, you can audition!! You must attend one of the auditions specifically for CPs. Good luck!!
if you act like a certain princess but you don't look like them are you totally out of the running?
What should I do if i wear glasses??
Is there a way to know what princess they are looking for? Or is it random?
disneyauditions.com/This is the website to go to see the audition dates, times, place, and who they are looking to cast!
would it be best to try to cover my dark freckles on my face before the audition??? also would you recommend wearing the same color as your desired character? how much does the color of your eyes impact who you get cast as???
Jennifer do you think i could be a Disney princes even though i'm 16?
Even though I've never seen them hire anyone younger than age 19, it doesn't mean it can't happen. I heard a rumor that they were going to be hiring girls age 16+, though since I don't work for the company anymore I can't say for sure. Regardless, have fun auditioning, I wouldn't stress out about it really until you were finally closer to the age range that most of the girls currently working are. Be sure to prepare as much as you can so that you're as confident as you can be when the time comes to audition. xo
thanks :) love your videos.
+Mary Skinner thank you so much! 💞💞💞
+Mary Skinner appreciate you watching!
hi jennifer i just had one question do they teach you how they want you to sign like the character you are or do you just makeup your own way and if so how long did it take you to learn how to sign like jasmine and how often did you practice it thank you :)
What kind of dance classes do you suggest?
Broadway Jazz is good for theatre but I'm thinking possibly any dance
In the video, you talked about dancing and acting, but how important is singing in the audition?
Do they discriminate people who wear glasses? Or do they accept you as long as you have contacts or something? And also, would they accept you if you just came out of college and not high school? As an example, would you be accepted (if they like you) if you were 21 years old while auditioning?Just curious. :)
The age limit is 18-25 they make exceptions however and bump it up to 26-28 depending how fast you age!
In order to be a look a like character do we have to do a dance audition?
Thanks!
I am in theatre and I am working on my second show, "Alice in Wonderland". Maybe one day I can be Alice at Disneyland.
Awesome video thanks so much! I'm auditioning at Disneyland Paris tomorrow and I think I most resemble Snow White so these tips have really helped me. I'm a trained dancer too so this makes me feel pretty OK about the process. THANK YOU!!
Dee Keaveney yaaaaay! Yes, your dance talent will take you farther in your audition! I hope you're cast! xo
Dee Keaveney and I'm glad the tips helped and thanks for watching! xo
Do you have to have a headshot when you audition for a character look a like?
I would love to audition for Disney but I have no idea where to look
Hey kelsie sue! Check the audition calendar at disneyauditions.com
It has an audition calendar!
what about scars?
Thank you for this video! How tall is Pocahontas?
Do you have to dance the day of audition and wear jazz shoes?
Toni Calderon Hey Toni! girls cast as Pocahontas varied in height, when I worked, I saw girls as short as 5'4"cast, all the way to girls as tall as 5'8".. you do dance at the audition, but I didn't wear jazz shoes, neither did I see anyone who did. :)
I auditioned for a character performer on the Disney Cruise Line and made it all the way through. They said if we get chosen we will get a call in July... July is almost over now. Should I take that as I didn't get the job?
Did you get it?
When auditioning for Disneyland Paris they say to refrain from wearing any makeup? would you still say to go in looking like the character or not?
Jennifer Oakes yeah it says it on the audition advert to refrain from wearing makeup, but I will just go with natural makeup, thanks!
I hope you're cast! ❤
I really want to be one of these when I'm older, but I can't act on the spot-what do i do? Any advice?
As an improv performer , practice . Practice practice practice . If you can’t preform still after you gain experience , make a list of all the potential “ on the spot “ situations and a couple different ways to react to them
I have a birthmark on my shoulder is that going to be a problem
At what age do they start casting?
Hi! I've heard that you can be casted as long as you have already graduated from high school or the age of 18 years old! Hope this helps!
Hey Jennifer! I have a question. I am only 16 years old so I have time before I can audition. So I am interested in taking dance classes. What type of dance specifically should I take classes for?
+Morgan Bellavia to be honest, I'm not a dancer, but lemme ask a couple people who were great dancers for their advice!
