You did a video on the blue craw, are you going to do one on the other color morphs, metal mist and synthetic? Cuz Metal Mist is my new favorite. I put a blue tail on a lizard with metal mist body and its sweeeet.
I JUST did this the other day to get chartreuse tails in some of the 5" paddletail open pour swimbaits. Works fantastically. Then tilted them the other way to get some red chins/throats
Excellent video on the way the molds are filled but I am looking at molds, all different kinds, and it looks like one side is the top half of the bait while the other half of aluminum side is the lower half of the bait. I picked up an aluminum mold and the right side of the bait is on one half the mold and the left is the other. My question: is there a way to do a laminate top to bottom with the colors or is that going to be a one color mold unless you do two different colors one for each side of the bait and the mold is single injection 6 cavity. Thanks
I have a non video related question for you. Like you I make baits in my garage. Next weekend it's going to be 18° lows here in MO. Do I need to worry about my dead on plastic and colorants and maybe move them inside.
The effect is VERY effective at making those worms so natural looking. As with the swim baits… 🫣 My vote goes to the colors designed and blended into tonight’s baits!!🤗
The swim bait will be hard to beat.it’s a looker.dipping tubes today still like the layering look of a dip for tail an body then just the head .very one of a kind worms .
I pretty much used glitter to color all my baits very little else other than Dead on plastics white. I’ve learned if I inject my mold with the top of the bait facing down the glitter will concentrate in the top of the bait there fore making a two toned bait

Once again I turned my nose up at the color combo BUT as usual it was awesome. I must not have enough imagination. The natural look was spot on.

It really depends on the size of the mold in the derometer of plastic I am using

Yes, you will need a dual injector with a blending block, just turn your blending block the correct direction to get it top to bottom.
