@@WorldsWorstFishing the rainbow would be amazing down here in Arkansas for striped bass. Several lakes have 65+ pound stripers and they LOVE rainbow trout

I would think that matching a Chinook Salmon would be pretty challenging.

Virginia rivers are full of Alwifes in the spring. We'll, at least they were in the 80s. Could almost walk across them on the upper Appomattox River.

It just seems that alewife color you created didn't have the iridescence of the real thing. I was hoping for more of that color shift in the back. A clear belly with some flakes would have been cool. What you created was absolutely stunning don't get me wrong. Just a little flash would have been the icing on the cake.
In person the pearls are very flashy..which is why every layer has pearl in it...but you can always subjectively add more flashy effects to your liking. That's the beauty of custom bait making

Man thats spot on color match!!! quick question on re-melting the plastic in-between pours. what is your process for the color not to change? I use BP 242.
You want short remel5 cycles..30 seconds at a time. It just takes practice to learn how your plastic cooks and remelts

Very awesome color. Is there a way to email or send you a picture? I have a guy in the bass club that wants a color in the 4.8 rip rap, I've been on it for two weeks, almost a gallon of red label and just like Robo worms, I can't match it.
Did you do the kill dots first?? You never showed how that part was done...
Being that your in with angling ai I wonder if talked to them about finding someone to make clam shells for the molds.
