it wasn't necessarily what I wanted to hear but that was a very good explanation and reading of Venus Square Mars natal chart. I hope I can work through it. Venus square Mars is my tightest natal aspect and it’s bizarre because I was asexual for a good part of my life, and even now I’m demisexual, meaning I won’t jump in bed without a strong emotional and spiritual connection. Yes looks are important to me but the heart and soul is what makes me actually do anything with a person, without it I don’t indulge in any lust because it doesn’t appeal to me. So I’m one of the least superficial and hypersexual people I know. But one aspect I do have is being demanding, I need true deep committed love. But only because I have a lot to lose because that’s what I give, a 100 percent. People find me sexy much to my chagrin actually since I hate that kind if attention on me. It makes it hard to find someone who has love for me and not pure lust

Very true, this shows up in my chart because I am extremely codependent in all relationships and my needs dont get met so if someone becomes attracted to me, I use that to feel empowered, in control and get my needs met regardless of the other person. This was completely subconcious of course so now that I know, its a whole new ballgame

I did not touch on the gender confusion or vacillation this square can bring up. It is not unusual to question ones orientation with this aspect. Good for you that you are solving it in a joyful way! I love that style of handling this aspect. Just be it all without judgement.
Gender confusion is a understatement. Its was blend them or die I couldn't keep suppressing parts of me it was getting too hard. Do you think a lot of the trans gender community have this aspect? I often wonder if transsexuals are "satisfied" after transitioning. I know the confusion I went through and had I taken any type of permanent action I don't know that I'd be happy with it, even if I felt strongly about it at one time. I'm sure theres more to it than 1 aspect but I'm curious

Wow!!! I too have moon in Aries and it's interesting that you and I have this aspect in common as well because while reading what you said, I resonated SO deeply with it. I'm just now coming out of my shell in regards to feeling like I can be more androgynous. I also finally came to terms with my desire for women. When I was younger I took on the role of the more masculine side when playing with my friends...I also had a hard time identifying with what I felt for women because a part of me also enjoyed being feminine and didn't realize that I could infuse both masculine and feminine qualities about myself...which would then allow me to also open up more about the way I approach women and men in general. I felt suffocated when I was younger only wearing clothes that suited "girls"...now I'm finally embracing what I've wanted for so long, which is more than just clothes..it's all the qualities we can develop within the infusion of both masculine and feminine. Bit of an eye opener.. most times i only like people based on what attention love or loyalty theyre giving to me. I notice that i rarely put my foot forward to actually pursue them back .. ill be loyal , affectionate & giving but only if i feel wanted by you. Me wanting you is you wanting me. For example a guy called me everyday showed his interest invited me out. I rarely called him first or put my foot forward to be romantic but i was always available.
I'm the opposite of that😄 I care about what I feel the most, I give more than I take. But then again I'm selfish, because I don't care as much about his feelings like you do . I wonder what our charts are like..

My Virgo Venus is in the 12th house with Gemini Mars in the 9th house. And honestly, I don’t feel like ppl see me. This has been hard for me , I put in work in relationship and get frustrated when I don’t get what I want and it leads to my mars bringing in that aggression . This was so helpful, thank you! I very much enjoy your videos on natal aspects and have watched many again and again in effort to better understand myself as well as others. While looking at the charts of two people who both have SEVERE substance addictions, I noticed this was the only aspect they shared other than Saturn in the 12th house and multiple planets in opposition. It's interesting that both have been diagnosed with bipolar disorder...also interesting that Venus Square Mars can mean sweetness vs aggression, softness vs anger, feminine vs masculine, the love-hate theme.

I was in love with a guy with this. He WAS as asshole. I was constantly reigning in his ego. I loved him even though I knew this because of my Saturn conjunct his sun. The whole time he thought every thing was cool with his mars square my Venus. He was super hot also
I have this aspect, Venus in gemini (6th house) and mars in virgo (10th house) I broke up with my ex of 5 1/2 years for having no ambition or drive and never taking interest or pushing me to achieve my goals. I said i'd rather fail alone than with him holding me back.... I don't regret this, but have to pull myself up on these behaviour patterns with my current partner, so I don't place so much expectation I guess?
So, my friend has this square (leo venus square scorpio moon and mars) and let me tell you something...if there would have been a photo for the word “selfish” this friend would have won! Yes, I can see the sex-appeal but it’s wortless withouth any empathetic atitude toward others. All I can see is “me, myself and I”, self centered,attention seeker which leeds to frustration for any relationship he’s in...he has hard time when it comes to desociate private life from public life. I meen everything he does is constantly posted on social media, even if he’s having a drink with a friend is already posted on social media but not enjoying the company of his friend (he’s constantly on the phone). I am dominant Venus in Aquarius square Mars in Taurus, 1H. I feel much more comfortable when I am alone than with other people. I have a tendency to chose partners that lie and manipulate me. I seem to seek it out as it’s familiar to the abusive home I grew up in. My deepest desire is to be surrounded by family and it always seems out of my reach.

I think people are definitely entitled to their desires i just also think i am entitled to mine as well. What usually happens is im just nice fake the funk be polite but i hope someone will eventually reciprocate even my "niceness". When i am too nice people think they can bully me into helping them meet their desires. Then i have to shut the entire thing down or go with it. I feel people project their sexual desires on us alot knowing full well they cant meet ours and have no desire to even try to so this is where they will and do manipulate us. So in order to take a break from this entire process we will enjoy a lot of time as hermits....*shrugs

I feel called out 😂😂. I have Mars in Cancer in my first squaring my Venus in Aries in my tenth.
I also have my Jupiter in Libra in my 4th and Capricorn moon in the 7th forming a Cardinal Grand cross with very tight orbs.
Is this common for someone who has this aspect to go behind the back and cheat (friends and lovers)? Because I have seen too many times happening with his best friends wifes and acted like he has done nothing wrong but being a man.

I've looked further into it and I have much more challenging aspects to the point where it seemed to blend with this one. I have moon virgo square Pluto Scorpio in 7th, mars square jupiter and my ascendant along with mercury libra in the 6th retrograde square Uranus and Neptune In 9th 🤣
Not to mention moon conjunct Chiron and opposite Saturn Pisces retrograde in the 11th.. my moon aspects are rough along w mercury and mars..
Hey, can I ask you some questions related to your Venus square Mars aspect? I'm interested in a guy who has the same placements as you (Scorpio Venus, Leo Mars) and he has Venus square Mars in his natal chart so maybe you might be able to help me understand him from your perspective. In our synastry his Mars sextiles my Venus, his Venus sextiles my Mars, and his Venus placement sits in my 1st house so I don't know if those aspects will help smooth things over or not when it comes to that challenging square in his natal chart.

Luckily I have a lot of "positive" Pluto placements to enforce some transformative qualities. Hoping a good deal of learning and introspection will help.

I totally agree! I don't want perfectly attractive people but unavailable people just entice me more. I'm told I possess a very magnetic sexual aura too. Girls and guys both tell me I'm "hot" especially recently it's kind of strange to have not only the opposite sex but the same sex leer over you sometimes as I'm not like a Leo who likes that sort of thing... but it does have some advantages.

Hi there! I have natal mars in Gemini (5H) square natal Venus in Virgo (8H). I also have a natal 7H, 5 planet stellium. I’m very quick to fall in love and also very quick to fall out. I just went through a break up and am thinking a lot about how I relate to others, romantically AND platonically. When I’m in a relationship I have no friends and when I am single I have a bunch of friends. I’ve been through this cycle 4x now as an adult… I want more enduring meaningful relationships. This always gets me because my my Mars is in Leo (fire, great) but in the 4th house and my Venus is in Scorpio (sad placement lol), but in the 7th house 😂 Venus shows up as a dominant planet (7th house stellium) and Mars is my chart ruler (Aries rising). I don't feel I'm too selfish thankfully ( but I'm told I'm not selfish enough, oh no lmao), I think this aspect just made me more awkward than anything but everything else is pretty accurate growing up. I move quickly with connections rather than seperations I find. (I blame being water Dominant haha) It's actually, of my favourite placements in my chart honestly. My Venus Aries & Mars Cancer (fall) is another bad placed planet. Therefore the bad always happening to me in guy relationships. Lots of rejection., lots of competition from others.
