I would think that the Lannisters would keep a short leash on her (maybe they make her engaged to Tommen or something) Or Joffery would find some way to torture her.
Knowing King Robert...for pure entertainment...he could call Tyrion as his champion (he was Catelyns prisoner at the time, and if a champion can refuse a call or force him)...as to piss the Lannisters...and knowing Jaime loves his brother...that would be cruel but seeing Jaime hypothetically killed Ned here. Just saying lol
What if Jon had left the Nights Watch before he said his vows? What if Ned Stark had listened to Renly Baratheon and overthrew Cersei? What if Ser Barristen Selmy didn't give the paper to Cersei when Robert died? What if Jaime married Lysa Tully instead of joining the Kingsguard? What if Catelyn was wed to Jon Arryn and Ned was betrothed to Lysa? What if Syrio Forel used a real sword instead of a wooden sword against Meryn Trant? What if Lysa Arryn gave an army from the Vale to Robb Stark? I hope you make a video on one of them :)
A, ned accepts renly offering but still have an issues with stannis baratheon's claim to the throne. B, barristan is a knight and loyal to the king, he would always obeyed the king because it's his vows as a kingsguard. C, if jon did left before taking a vow, then the war and later died in the red wedding? E, if jaime was married and the mad king didn't had jaime then tywin would have joined the rebellion side and the mad king would have burned the city to the ground with wildfire. D, Lysa would been unhappy with ned, because his the brother of the man who was betrothal to his sister catelyn, who littlefinger challenge him to a fight and nearly was killed, catelyn engaged to an old man she would be unhappy and years of being betrothal to a stark for a long time. F, if arya's teacher did had a real sword then he would have killed him but eventually he dies, and arya still runaway from them. And finally, lysa giving robb vale army, that would only work if littlefinger was killed by brandon a long time ago, this man even made a video on that, it's called what if brandon killed littlefinger.
I think Syrio Forell would have lost the fight anyways, he used the same moves as it would have been a real sword and therefore Meryn could have grabbed it anyway
Huschte Gutzel Atleast it would be awesome that syrio killed many of them instead of kicking their asses, arya would one day emulate that fighting style that killed many of them. The whole what if stuff this channel youtuber made seems kinda becoming unnecessary, we all know that ned wouldn't take the iron throne, because it would be out of character.
Still remember in season 1 ... Tywin asks jaime "why is he still alive" Tywin must have had plans in place for such circumstances or he would have never said that ...
Now that I think about it, Jaime killing Ned might be the best thing for Tywin. As now the starks have a fitting retaliation for capturing Tyrion. And Tywin would be happy if Tyrion got executed as he would finally get rid of him. Also, now Ned would die in single combat. Robb would hate the lannisters, but no reason to declare war.

Jaime taking the iron throne would be out of character, because jaime never wanted power and he always wanted to be the best knight and to be with cersei, he always wanted to die like a warrior.
When GRRM created Jaime, that is what he wanted to do with him, have him become King but slash his way to power, making him a mix of Jaime and Joffrey, just a nasty character. And unbeatable.
Mythbuster : Is Robyn Arryn the son of Littlefinger? And by reading the previous comments, you HAVE TOO make the "What if Tywin realized he had Arya Stark" video !!
(In this scenario) I think Joffery would die if him being illegitimate was found out, but I think Tommen and Myrcella would be fostered elsewhere and forced to take the black/become a septon and join the silent sisters/become a septa (respectably), most likely the second option for both.
I don't think Oberyn would have fought Jaime with a spear. He has mastered multiple weapons. He would use a sword against Jaime. He only used a spear against The Mountain because he knew he couldn't beat him with a sword.
Speak is the ideal weapon against a swordsman -- massive reach advantage. I think Oberyn would think better than to use a sword against Jaime as well -- I mean, he's borderline legendary with a sword. I know Oberyn would think he'd have a great chance, but why risk it?

Oberyn Martell .... Spear is a better weapon than a sword. Spears have dominated warfare since pre-history. Massive reach advantage. So why use a sword against Jaime? ''He only used a spear against The Mountain because he knew he couldn't beat him with a sword.'' Even that tells us that spears are better than swords.
Regardless of whether or not Barristan dies, he won't go to Essos. Remember, the only reason he went there was because he was kicked out of the King's Guard by Joffery. I doubt that Robert or Stanis would have done that to him.
Joffrey was a coward when it came to fighting on the battlefield, that does not mean he was a pussy. Tommen WAS a total PUSSY! Joffrey was a psychopath. He would've called his banners and order the city watch to open the gates, let the Lannister and the Tyrell forces in, and then he would order them to slaughter every single sparrow in KL and the High Sparrow would probably be tortured for days, if not weeks before being killed. End of story.
Remember when the Kinsguard asked Tommen is he wanted them to kill the Sparrows? He said no because he was afraid. Joffrey would have said "yeah murder them", and the Faith Militant would have died there.
Agree with most of the things you said but i have to say, i am really surprised that you think that Oberyn would be able to defeat Jaime freaking Lannister! Jaime was the best swordsman in Westeros ( if not in the whole world ) at this point. Even George R.R. Martin said that Jaime was the best swordsman in the story before he lost his sword hand. I think that Jaime would've killed Oberyn but Oberyn would probably use a poisoned weapon in their fight so what would happen in this scenario is basically this: Jaime wins the trial by combat, kills Oberyn... but gets wounded in the process and the poison kills him a few hours later. So they both die in this scenario.
best SWORDSman. Oberyn would be using a style Jaime's never faced in battle, with a weapon 3-6' shorter than Oberyn's. And Oberyn is best-in-class with his spear, AND he cheats. So yeah, Jaime's fucked.
Oberyn has lots more actual experience than Jaime, and he would pick a strategy that would perfectly counter Jaime's strengths, just like he did with the Mountain. I think it'd be a very close fight but Oberyn would come out on top 3/5
Jamie dies, in a literal blaze of glory, then is eaten by a Drogon, Daenerys dies when a molton blob of steel from the spearhead hits her the other 2 dragons would join Drogon in greaving and avenging their mother and likely burn every Lanistair soldier they can find, and maybe also lanistair strongholds Kings Landing and Highgarden as revenge. Daenerys's council hold an election for her replacement, if they see that the Dragons like Jon it is possible Jon would be chosen, oherwise there would most likely be a council established, Misande, Tyrion, Theon, Grey Worm, and leaders from the Dothraki would decide how to proceed in the liberation of Westeros. I can only guess beyond that
The Dothraki will ruin the Westeros without Daenery. I think Jon Snow could not be the leader of Daenery's army. They would choose new leader and Jon Snow helped him/her to manage the dragon.
Evan I think Jon could lead the Dothraki if he manages to tame one of the dragons. Dothraki follow strength and being the only dragonrider in the known world is about as strong as it gets. If he doesn't manage to do that I think he'll have a hard time, he's too culturally different from them.
There is an unanswered big plot point at the end of all this, what about the Nights watch and Jon Snows story line, how would things have gone there with the events of this video?
Well if he knew about the incest he might be more inclined to just leave them to their own fate. Seeing as the have dishonored the Lannister name and all. With all his grandchildren being incest bastards he might just decide to try and match tyrion with danearys?
There will be no trial and no capturing Jamie. Just remember, Jamie fleed from King Landing right after the fight with Ned and it would be the same if he kills him. So he would have been died in the fight between the Lanisters and Baratheons. And why would he put Cercei to the black cell? Not until he not hear about the incest and that he can only hear from Stannis.
Jaime fled, but he didn't have anyone chasing him down the first time. He went to join his father (no one considered it a big deal). Why would Cersei be arrested? because she's a Lannister, of course, and would no doubt have tried to cover up what happened. With killing Jaime, there's no doubt Tywin would openly be against Robert and Cersei is a threat to be hanging in the Red Keep. Others know about the incest as well, I'm sure. There's no fact, but man I am confident Varys and Baelish both are aware (Varys most certainly knows. This clip told me all I needed to know that he knew: th-cam.com/video/lHpznCPk5ZQ/w-d-xo.html)
Interestingly, pretty sure if Tyrion gets caught... which he would, there's a history, he'd be in perfect position to force his inheritance of Casterly Rock, as Tywin's sole living heir. I mean, he didn't take part in any of this, he wasn't even NEAR King's Landing.
What if the Mad King Aerys regains his sanity before Rheagar dies and what if he ( Aerys ) makes peace with Tywin, promising him that he will release Jaime from the Kingsguard and make Tywin his Hand again if he helps him defeat the rebels? Would be a great video i think.
Excellent analysis on a subject that I'm amazed hasn't been covered yet. I feel like there's a beat missing. Just before this, Robert had sent an assassin to Essos to get Dany. He and Ned fought about it and Ned quit, right before running into Jaime. On his deathbed, Robert told Ned to call off the assassin, but it was too late anyway. I wonder if, with Ned dead, Robert would have realized his mistake sooner and called off the assassination in time to stop it. How would that have affected Dany's story?
I don't think tywin would go to war with robert still alive. He would probably say that it was jamie's fault, not his and get away. And ned hadn't told the truth abt cersei to anyone so cersei would probably be safe too
Maybe the most exciting scenario so far. Great video. Another marriage suggestion for Robert: Sansa Stark. Robert wanted to join their houses and has no heir. Maybe they discover Gendry and he would be legitimized. Jaime would even die, if he wins the fight against Oberyn. A little scratch would be enough because of the poisoned spear.
Once he finds out that Joffery isn't his, Robert could also legitimize one of his bastard sons and have Sansa marry him, honoring his promise to Ned and House Stark.
Good to see you back, Kevin! Hope you are feeling better these days. Excellent spinning of this scenario. I think Margaery would DEFINITELY be the new queen in this scenario, as Mace, Loras, and Renly were already plotting to make Robert fall in love with her and make her his mistress, reveal the incest, and make her the new queen.
Thanks Kate!!!!!! I agree as well. I could easily see Margaery slip in there -- I just couldn't balk at the chance to make people think about sweaty Robert/Lysa fornication. Bahaha.
To your point at the beginning Robert wouldn’t even believe Ned did something traitorous in the first place, before his dislike of the Lannisters because we see he puts that aside if he needs to keep the peace. I feel him hearing the “traitor” accusation would be all Robert needs to know that Ned was killed unjustly whatever the case was.
Joffrey technically didn't attack Arya (she struck the first blow). He challenged Micah (the butcher's boy) to a duel, when Joffrey had an actual sword and Micah had a stick. Then he began bullying and threatening Micah. Arya hit Joffrey in the back with her stick to get Joffrey to stop bullying him. Micah ran away, and that's when Joffrey started swinging his sword at Arya. Arya got knocked down, Joffrey pointed his sword at her, saying, "I'll gut you, you little ****," and that's when Nymeria came to Arya's defense. That's how it happened in the show, and it happened pretty much exactly the same way in the books, as well.
What If Aemon Targayen took the Throne instead passing it and going to the Night Watch? What if Ned believed The Night Watch deserter in Season 1 episode 1?
How would that work? Killing the king does not make you King. Same with taking the capital. If Tywin declared himself King then he'd have to fight Robert's army, and he would lose.
Oberyn can't beat Jaime in a one on one. I think Jaime would win with ease, but die from a festered wound. It does matter that Jaime only knows one style, he's the best duelist in the seven kingdoms (at the time). If you're a master of your craft, it doesn't matter if you're opponent knows everything about it. This is a duel, not a game of chess game lol
Damm glad the beard is back bro 👊🏻 Also who do you think would win aegon the conqueror with balerion and blackfyre or bloodraven with dark sister and his warging powers
Haha. I'm keeping it for a while! :) Aegon with Baelerion and Blackfyre. Bloodraven's warging abilities are limited -- as far as we know, he can't warg into a dragon or a human.
You know what speaking of unlikely scenarios what about a what if little finger kill Brandon Stark video? I know it's crazy unlikely but who knows maybe he had bad footing or he accidentally picked up a blunted sword in his arrogance idk. I just kind of want to see what happens to Game of Thrones without Baelish
I agree with most of the things you said in the video except for one...I fully believe that Jaime would beat Oberyn, i like both of them very much but Jaime with two hands is practicly unstopable and i don't think that Jaime would completely humiliate or smash the Red Viper but at the end in my opinion Jaime would kill Oberyn at the trial by combat
Good video but I got a couple of problems with your theory 1. Jamie run away to join Tywin right after he attacked Ned so the kings guard wouldn't be able to arrest him with invading the westerlands 2 . I don't think Dorne would join Robert just cause of the fact that during the war of the five kings they could have joined Stannis to help defeat the Lannisters but didn't 3. I don't think Robert would have imprisoned his Cersei and especially not his kids just cause Jamie did something stupid doesn't mean he would punish them to
Eddard persuade Robert to not participate um his tourney for he feared for his friend's Life (and he guessed correctly) he used Robert's pride agaisnt him, in a duel to death, to avenge his dead friend , with none to talk sense to the old drunk Demon of The Trident I supose that Bobby B would take the Warhammer against the Kingslayer....and lose to him.
I think there is a chance of Daenerys’s story playing out very similar because if Tyrion went across the narrow sea I think he could possibly take the place of Ser Barristan at that point in the story.
i actually doubt that he would imprison Cersei and her children. because Cersei had nothing to do with it, so he couldn't really press charges against her, and it are still oficially Baratheon. Plus at the time of Ned's death no one knew about them being bastards except for the Lannisters them self. It was only after that fight Ned found out and made it public.
In the OTL Jaime fled King's Landing after attacking Ned and went to Casterly Rock. I don't imagine that part would change here, which would likely result in there not being a trial for Jaime, but a war that would need to be fought instead. In a lot of ways this would begin to look like the early War of the Five Kings, but in this case I don't see there being any reason for there to be any division, since everyone else would be against the Lannisters, who Robert would likely declare as in rebellion if they didn't hand over Jaime, which they clearly wouldn't. But if Robert is alive, you have a consolidated throne, all the manpower commanded by Renly, and the command prowess of Stannis all working together.
arthur dayne stated: if we where at the trident your king would be laying in the ground. so what would happen if we placed the full kingsgaurd by the trident with rhaegar? or we can revers the question, what if the 3 best man of the kingsgaurd (arthur dayne, baristan selmy & jamie lanister) took on the 7 best fighters from robberts rebilion at the tower of joy? and dont say they will talk it out ofcourse =P
TheBattProductions awesome I cant even imaging how much would change... would robbert be able to win against the full kingsgaurd? Would arthur even be kill-able if they placed the 3 best kingsgaurd at the tower? It will be 10 times thougher for sure =P
You sound real bummed out when you realized Rob Stark lives in this scenario. I think tyrion would have been executed by Catelyn if Jaimie killed Ned. Not much changed with Jon except for Janos Slynt not showing up.
SkimMilk58 For something like that to happend, Aerys would have to be different, or dead in the duskendall hostage. He already made a video on that, it's called what if cersei marries rheagar.
Well, yeah. Most of the WHAT IFs I do take place during the events of Books 1 and 5 (which was ALL chaos) so it really only has the option to be worse or way better.

Oberyn has lots more actual experience than Jaime, and he would pick a strategy that would perfectly counter Jaime's strengths, just like he did with the Mountain. I think it'd be a very close fight but Oberyn would come out on top 3/5
What if Jaime kills Daenerys with the spear
Ahhh that'd be a tough one since it's so new. I will have to ponder this :)
Jamie dies, in a literal blaze of glory, then is eaten by a Drogon, Daenerys dies when a molton blob of steel from the spearhead hits her
the other 2 dragons would join Drogon in greaving and avenging their mother and likely burn every Lanistair soldier they can find, and maybe also lanistair strongholds Kings Landing and Highgarden as revenge.
I can only guess beyond that
Westeros becomes a better place
Another great video. Glad you're feeling a bit better 🙌🏻
Thanks my Princess! :)
Plot twist tywin realize the fight is unwinnable. takes the mountain, tyrion bronn to esos and aid danerys
Could be. Find it unlikely he'd just abandon Jaime and Cersei though.
Well if he knew about the incest he might be more inclined to just leave them to their own fate. Seeing as the have dishonored the Lannister name and all. With all his grandchildren being incest bastards he might just decide to try and match tyrion with danearys?
Tywin would NEVER do that...If he lets his familly die,he will appear weak, and Tywin knows that fear is the ultimate source of his power
If they do actually do a prequel they gotta expand upon the starks of the time. Especially the Roberts rebellion starks.
What if Catelyn kept her promise to be a mother to Jon snow and had Ned legitimize him.
Great video as always!
Thanks bud!!
Very good video Kevin! 👌
THankk you Caleb!
I'd argue in that scenario that even if Selmy lives dany still does because robert wouldnt have turned him away like joffery
Bahaha.
Union of unhappiness, that'd be.
Great video my dude.
Thanks a lot my buddy
To your point at the beginning Robert wouldn’t even believe Ned did something traitorous in the first place, before his dislike of the Lannisters because we see he puts that aside if he needs to keep the peace. I feel him hearing the “traitor” accusation would be all Robert needs to know that Ned was killed unjustly whatever the case was.
what if Ned killed Jamie or wounded in the same way by a stark ?
what if The hound didnt steal the silver
What if Sansa told the truth (about Joffery attacking Arya)
Hey battproductions was wondering if you could do a what if tyrion didnt bring. Shae to kings landing ??!?!?!?!?!?
What If Aemon Targayen took the Throne instead passing it and going to the Night Watch? What if Ned believed The Night Watch deserter in Season 1 episode 1?
* What IF Jaime Lannister gave the Iron Throne to Tywin (his father) after he killed the Mad King?
How would that work? Killing the king does not make you King. Same with taking the capital. If Tywin declared himself King then he'd have to fight Robert's army, and he would lose.
WHAT IF: Jaime Lannister had kept his vow, and not become "The Kingslayer".
Imagine if Robert never got fat he’d crush Jaime
Oberyn can't beat Jaime in a one on one. I think Jaime would win with ease, but die from a festered wound. It does matter that Jaime only knows one style, he's the best duelist in the seven kingdoms (at the time). If you're a master of your craft, it doesn't matter if you're opponent knows everything about it. This is a duel, not a game of chess game lol
Damm glad the beard is back bro 👊🏻
Also who do you think would win aegon the conqueror with balerion and blackfyre or bloodraven with dark sister and his warging powers
Haha. I'm keeping it for a while! :)
Aegon with Baelerion and Blackfyre. Bloodraven's warging abilities are limited -- as far as we know, he can't warg into a dragon or a human.
What if Jon was legitamize by King Robert after Robert's Rebellion?
FINALLYYYYY U MADE ONE!!!!!
Haha, I am sorry for the delay :)
What if Ned told Jon his heritage before leaving for the Nightwatch? Or even earlier to his family to keep it a welcome home for with Catelyn?
This Was Great Brother
Thanks buddy!!!!
* What IF Nymeria killed Joffery when Arya and the Baker's son were play-sword fighting?
What if either joffrey or arya killed one another by the river in season 1?
YES I dig that!!
+TheBattProductions , what if Joffrey killed Arya at the Trident, or what if Arya killed Joffrey at the Tirdent?
You know what speaking of unlikely scenarios what about a what if little finger kill Brandon Stark video? I know it's crazy unlikely but who knows maybe he had bad footing or he accidentally picked up a blunted sword in his arrogance idk. I just kind of want to see what happens to Game of Thrones without Baelish
No way Oberyn would ever beat Jaimie Jaimie in the books is meant to be unstoppable
Robert would've fought Jamie in the trial by combat...he may have lost, but his pride is way too big not to do it himself
I dunno about that! I think Barristan would've been the one. Not sure Barristan would've won though.
What if Ned ignored Littlefinger and went back to Winterfell (with his daughters) immediatly after resigning?
That's a wonderful one...hmmm...That's an interesting one
These videos are awesome! Video idea: What if Sansa Had A Baby from Ramsay? Thanks for all you do.
What if Knights of the Vale join Robb Stark's campaign against the Lannisters
Good video but I got a couple of problems with your theory 1. Jamie run away to join Tywin right after he attacked Ned so the kings guard wouldn't be able to arrest him with invading the westerlands 2 . I don't think Dorne would join Robert just cause of the fact that during the war of the five kings they could have joined Stannis to help defeat the Lannisters but didn't 3. I don't think Robert would have imprisoned his Cersei and especially not his kids just cause Jamie did something stupid doesn't mean he would punish them to
Eddard persuade Robert to not participate um his tourney for he feared for his friend's Life (and he guessed correctly) he used Robert's pride agaisnt him, in a duel to death, to avenge his dead friend , with none to talk sense to the old drunk Demon of The Trident I supose that Bobby B would take the Warhammer against the Kingslayer....and lose to him.
what if Ned somehow kills Jaime?
yay im early, great video!
Woo! Thank you Josephine :)
You’re getting that rick beard man just don’t bite someone’s neck alright 😂
Bahahahhaha
When he bites Joe's neck open...BROOOOOO
TheBattProductions mate that shit was crazy shame he didn’t say something like “that’s what happens when someone fucks with me
What if Ned Stark demanded a trial by combat
I think there is a chance of Daenerys’s story playing out very similar because if Tyrion went across the narrow sea I think he could possibly take the place of Ser Barristan at that point in the story.
I think cersei would find a way not to end up in a cell
come on bro you gotta know only the Kingsguard can defend the crown in a tbc, which oberyn is not. Anyway Ser Jaime would DESTROY the red viper easy!
I love these what if videos. They are so awesome to watch while eating fruit roll ups and on the wacky tobaccy.
Thank you Tyler!!!!!
Hahahahhaa. I love that you are eating fruit roll ups right now.
Barristan was equal to Arthur Dayne. It was dawn that gave Arthur an advantage over Barristan. No way would jaime could beat Arthur or Barristan.
i actually doubt that he would imprison Cersei and her children. because Cersei had nothing to do with it, so he couldn't really press charges against her, and it are still oficially Baratheon.
Plus at the time of Ned's death no one knew about them being bastards except for the Lannisters them self. It was only after that fight Ned found out and made it public.
Ned not make it public. It was Stannis who posted it on everyone's facebook page.
Omg great video.
Thanks Andrew man!!!
Oh.and..WHAT IF...LittleFinger and/or Tywin discover Ayra's true identity while shes held as a servent for Lord Tywin.
I look back on this and still don't know why Robert would kill or imprison his children if he doesn't know their bastards
Didn't Jaime ran away to Lannisport or Casterly Rock?
What if Edmure Tully did not surrender Riverrun when he enters the castle!!
Plz do what if the high septer people wouldn't be armed
Respect the beard
What about Syrio Forel against Jamie?
arthur dayne stated: if we where at the trident your king would be laying in the ground.
so what would happen if we placed the full kingsgaurd by the trident with rhaegar?
or we can revers the question, what if the 3 best man of the kingsgaurd (arthur dayne, baristan selmy & jamie lanister)
took on the 7 best fighters from robberts rebilion at the tower of joy?
and dont say they will talk it out ofcourse =P
Love it!
Haha, I wasn't bummed! I don't love him, but don't hate him.
2:05 the children and Cersie both would be in house arrest
The bug that almost killed Danny was a manticore
Mhm
What if ned is not only sent to the wall but he meets with mance rayder? What if ned doesn't warn cersei?
What if The Mad King had accepted Tywin's offer for a betrothal between Cersei and Rhaegar?
SkimMilk58
For something like that to happend, Aerys would have to be different, or dead in the duskendall hostage. He already made a video on that, it's called what if cersei marries rheagar.
basically every event in asoif leads to the worst possible scenario, any large or some small changes would unravel most of the plot.
Well, yeah. Most of the WHAT IFs I do take place during the events of Books 1 and 5 (which was ALL chaos) so it really only has the option to be worse or way better.
Dude, give the books a read, and then try this out. Maybe just the show alone, but you are missing key fact about each house.
